Just called for the second time today.  The first time I called, I was instructed to call back using option 5.  I called back and spoke to Sunny who confirmed that they had received my case yesterday but said that there was no case number assigned.  She said to try calling back on Monday and my case number should be assigned.  Sure Sunny, I’ll call back on Monday.    So of course I called again a couple of hours later and this time spoke to Tyler.  Tyler was the first one to ask me for the petitioner’s name and DOB so I got super excited and sure enough, he gave me my case number!  He said it was under administrative processing but as soon as they were done, it would be forwarded to the London Embassy.  Quick question.  I know I’ve read something about this before but I can’t seem to find it now.  Should my case number show up on the CEAC website right away for tracking?  I entered it in, under immigrant visa, and it says no records found.  I’m pretty sure I read that it can take a bit to show up sometimes but just wanted to make sure.

Ahhh congrats - and i love tyler! he was so friendly!!!! :D :D :D

lucky you it got assigned so quick!!! i was 5 too, and i waited almost 3 weeks after case received at NVC

Now at least you know what’s happening: for @Swissmiss82 she got her noa2 on 3/13, received on 3/23(number5), number on 4/12 I think. And well she probably will have her visa on hand tomorrow...(her embassy was really quick!

However even withot the embassy being quick, her case reached embassy in a day. :)

hahaha who's your friend so far? or do you have a bestie yet???

@Jela Max, Lisa are really nice at #5. Just try to avoid Daphne, she needs breakfast or lunch before you call!

Good luck on the next steps for sure! the waiting game until the new case # came in was insane for me,

hahaha yes ! that's what I told him too ! but I guess this whole process worth it... as I have met such as amazing people like you, naes, nick paula and other that I can't list all.

this is the plan that he would be able to pcs back to Europe for 5-9 years haha, but even if only 3 years I would be really happy xD

wherever your journey brings you and makes you happy, that's what will make all of us smile to read about your journey! :D

That’s weird... cause I though the validity for AOS changes automatically to 1 year

well she had to re-do as she did the medical in january (2 years ago), moved early april, got married july 4th, and didnt file until mid august

as their marriage licence didn't come in. on top, she's in wyoming so that closest office is barely filled and she didn't get her GC until april.

but she had to re-do the medical in december for sure, as she was so mad cos her and the baby had to do it :(

Guys, is there a problem if medical is done 1 month before interview? I already started my medical (went to the med appointment, did x-rays and all vaccinations) and just need to bring the results to the Dr. for him to proceed with it however I'm flying soon to spent 3 weeks with my fiance and was hoping for an early June Interview. Not so sure if having the medical done 1 month prior to the interview will jeopardize anything. Thanks for your inputs!

just be careful with the timing.

i have a friend who also did the medical sooo early, and then when she moved, got married, filed for AOS, she had to do the medical again as it was only valid for 6 months!

J, said he is trying to get a job in Germany ( Europe)  so if it's positive we might gonna move back to Germany in 2019 which would be real awesome !!!!!!!

nooo! don't go through this slappy process for a few months in JAX! lol postpone that move to 2020 or 2021 hahaha

just kidding :) glad you had a nice little break, and crossing fingers for you you get approved soon!
