Haha you do that otherwise you will go crazy from over thinking, first 2-3 weeks I put my hopes up for nothing thinking I'll get it, tomorrow it will be a month for me, since I read about it on here from many informative people I realized I just need to relax and call Em once a week to check and just keep checking online as well and relax before I lose my mind been years since I saw my family in the US but it will happen sooner or later, we are at the end of it

Been reading about this for weeks, if they needed anything they would have asked you during the interview or in most cases the first week when it was under AP, with immigration everything is possible but I won't worry about it if I were you, just need to be patient cause for some people it takes a while,been a month for me and everything is going smooth in my opinion

This is normal, I have been verbally approved on may 22, wasn't asked for any other documents during or after interview. My status online had been ready for the last 3 weeks but the date kept updating until today, tomorrow it will be exactly a month for me but I know this is normal. Just be patient and good luck

1.  They don't think your marriage is fake......they think she is likely to stay inside the US beyond her authorized stay.......
2.  A spouse inside the US is a very strong tie....
3.  Married couples normally seek to live together.  
4.  She can apply for a B2 as many times as she likes....but, unless her situation changes somehow, you can expect the same results.
5.  No, she has no right to visit the US, married or not.
6.  She can thank the thousands and thousands of people who abuse US law every year.
 
I don't intend to be insensitive, but that is the harsh truth about the situation.  I wish you well.

No one has ever seen this? Can they do that though? Say that a visa has been issued and leave it as issued? I've read people being stuck in AP for 14 months. But it's even more nerve wrecking because my husbands status won't change from ISSUED. Even though his passport was returned to him.
 
 
Also we were never given a slip or a 221g refusal. The woman at the consulate even told my husband that they are not denying him a visa but that it will just take a month or two. 

Don’t bother trying to find someone up in the food chain, that’ll be a never ending road.
Just focus on the interview. As said, make sure you print and bring all the email communication during the interview that shows you did sent the medical package as requested and was returned back opened. 

My husband was in AP from 4/16/19 to 5/14/19 and we received his visa on 5/16/19.  
 
On the CEAC site his status went from AP to Ready to AP to Ready to AP to Issued.
 
The whole process was definitely nerve wracking but unfortunately it just takes time.  You should hear something soon if you haven't already.

I knew they will tell you in two weeks time , because that's how they used to tell everybody , so try to email them about it , by asking the update of your passport.

My family applied for me for family sponsorship for unmarried sons or daughters over the age of 21 , we applied around 2009 and finally July 7 2017 i got asked for interview , now to make things clear , i was deported from the US for signing a check in the amount of $260 i got petty theft and forgery around 2003 ,its been around 15 years since this has happened and before and after i have a clean record , long story short after the advise of my lawyer ,he said they might give you the visa on the spot of you are lucky or most likely in cases like yours a waiver , i went to the interview and it went perfect ,of course i got asked for waiver I 212 , i left the US embassy in Jerusalem Israel and i was expecting that answer anyway , so contacted a lawyer for the waiver , then last Friday i get a call from the embassy asking me for a second interview and to bring my passport , im very confused now ,i know its in 2 days but has anyone had this happen to them ? and what could they possibly want since they already asked me for a waiver , she was very clear on the phone ,she said we are doing a second interview and please bring your passport with you ,waiver or any other document was not mentioned , any comments or past experiences would be greatly appreciated
