Little update here as well: I just entered the US last night  - POE was Atlanta. I had to go through the normal foreign lane. When I got to the officer he called another guy that picked me up and brought me to a different area. I was waiting there for about 5 mins. The interview took literally 45 seconds  He just asked when we are getting married and if I knew that it has to happen within 90 days. After that he welcomed me to the US That was it. Very easy. Everyone was super friendly.

Sorry to jump in a second time but I just graduated from University of Hertfordshire in December!!  My fiance is from Albania but was working in London when I was in school and thats actually whee we met! It really is a small world!!

my CASE HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!! TODAY!!!!!!

Guys, I am going to play Devil's advocate here as it's getting quite heated. Yes the K1 is meant to be a faster process but the system is only as good as the persons running the country. If they want tougher measures that's unfortunately what USCIS has to follow.
 
Secondly, we are still very lucky that we are being looked at! I mean there are other countries that have it a lot harder to get the people that they love in? We should be grateful as well for any RFEs, can you imagine it being just an outright denial? There are a lot of people who do abuse the system and maybe none of us do, but there are those who don't give a damn but why do we have to worry if our relationships and love are real? The only people who need to be scared are those who are lying. 
 
Thirdly, fill your time with something else apart from the visa. Nothing is gonna come of checking it every 5mins. Go out, enjoy some sunshine or natural beauty if you don't have jobs. If you have a job, be the best version of you and change some people's lives and or make their dreams come true. 
 
If you're honest your time will come. On an ending note, there is a saying in an Indian language called Gujarati, literally translated it means 'Only gold is tested and not rocks', basically only that which is worth something is tested. I like to think all of the love that exists within the k1 forum is worth a lot, hence we go through a lot of anguish.
 
Our time will come.

You know what guys? I have decided to enjoy this process. Yes, it sounds weird but the truth is that we’ll be soon moving to another country. We’ll be leaving family, friends, jobs, routines, favorite places and all behind! Why not enjoy all that while we can? I know that we all want to be with our significant other as soon as possible and that we want to get married and start a family; but the truth is that we’ll also start missing our previous lifes, which is totally normal. Changes are great but also difficult and there’s ab adaptation period to everything. So I have decided to make the most out of this wait! So instead of having a memory of a painful wait I want to have a memory of me enjoying all my love ones here and my favorite places and stuff I like and take care of me! I’m getting married and I want to look and feel great on my wedding day! So during this long wait I’ll be eating healthier, exercising and taking good care of my skin: let’s pamper ourselves! ❤️ We need to do this for us and for our significant other! 👏🏼👏🏼💕 but please don’t take me wrong USCIS, this doesn’t mean you can keep taking your sweet time! Please help us a little! 🙃 I pray for all of us! 🙏🏼💕🌸

I didn't do this process before so it is my first time, and I don't think I waited too long either but yes I wanted to withdraw...
 
Started following this forum I think right after my noa1. And also this is the first time ever I even used a forum  
 
I started back when they were doing May and asked if I can do the scans for September, and I realized people were struggling to establish a system on the scans for June at that point so I decided to help as many months as I can...And I think that's why people got to know me. I arranged every month just so things can go on. 
 
I read a lot. A LOT. And I have too much free time - I don't understand how Japanese people work till late hours... most companies don't even have that much job to do!- and once fiance sleeps I have the rest of the day doing nothing... but reading
 
Another thing happened and caused these answers I believe is because I answer them. 
Some questions will just go and get lost in pages. But I try to go through every month's topic every morning and answer every question that's asked (I don't need to be tagged) However, then August filers made me go crazy (The things I've heard there )... and I stopped answering if I am not tagged and it is not available to me.
 
I have anxiety, and I know waiting and not knowing triggers it for many others too, so I thought if I was asking a question here, waiting for that answer would make me go crazy and maybe even sleepless...So I try not to leave anyone in that condition.

I stalk this forum every day, and literally 5 minutes before boarding my flight to go see my fiancé today.....we were approved!!!! I can’t even believe it! I’m still shaking..

They need evidence RfE from us but we are so happy that finally something is happening with our case . Do you know how much time need to receive the other emale for the document that they need from us?

Mid-day scans ? They are the highlight of my day ! I guess I will have to wait to the end of day scans. Thank you for your time Daniel . It is not your obligation to do this so for this a sincere thank you! I am on day 180 but am relatively calm at this point my philosophy is that if I get an RFE , or a denial I will just try again and if that does not work I will move to another country with my fiancé. Remembering that if the plan A does not work I will come up with a new plan . I have been away from my fiancé for  3 years most of which I have been sick .In 3 years I have only seen him 15 days but for some reason I do not feel apart . I have been so blessed to have survived mental and physical problems that this seems not such a problem . The sun shines and the clouds rain on everyone so I wait . I would be naive to think I would be privileged in anyway. Just expressing myself a bit .

More than 70% October is untouched, but eventually will be. It's all good, we just  have to wait like we did for the last 7 months. 

This is no way meant to offend anyone.   I believe that regardless of what we believe in, prayer is universal.  So I post a prayer for patience.  
 
God, teach us what it means to have faith in silence. When we face trials that are beyond our understanding, help us to find peace. Help me be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. You set all things in accordance to your time. Remind us to wait patiently, and find peace in your plan.

If your relationship can survive this process, it will be a strong relationship. You can always remind yourself of how bad you wanted to be together and that you should never take for granted that you are finally together.
