After a stressful wait...I couldn't even believe it. I still don't, in fact! Not until I see the hard copy in the mail! Has the website ever jumped the gun with an approval?!
My fiancé and I are sitting here in shock! And so thrilled! Good luck and positive energy to all of you!

I'm going to be my blunt Dutch self here for a moment, so excuse me for pissing you off in advance. But this is exactly the 'American attitude' us foreigners can't stand. Every time we express any fear or doubts about this very big and life changing decision, in which we bring up some very real issues and concerns, we get slapped in the face by this very list.
My views on your country have changed a great deal since I met my fiancé. There are many things I love about the States and I think it's a wonderful place. But to be honest, if things were different, he'd be moving to the Netherlands where we have a working healthcare system, paid holidays, proper sickdays, insurance that actually covers things and a retirement plan that allows my 85 year old grandmother to enjoy her grandkids in stead of wrapping groceries at Wallmart.

To put it bluntly ....if your so disappointed then don't come here, this is America the home of the brave and the land of the free and the country that protects yours. and "making things so unpleasant and tumultuous"?? , the stock market has broken records since this administration has been in, tax breaks have been implemented to help the lower and middle class that need it, and the economy has boomed! and the unemployment rate has dropped to its lowest since 1945 and speaking of 1945 if it wasn't for this "disappointed country that will make you feel unpleasant" you would be speaking German right now.
I've been around the world and seen "unpleasant" I've lived in China for 3 years and seen "unpleasant" and every time my plane lands on USA soil I'm so thankful I live in a country that protects my freedom and yours.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about this punishment of yours. It's very difficult being away from each other for so long. Do you have any paperwork outlining the punishment from your work? I think that would really help. And I think as long as you can prove that you have met within the last two years you should be okay (right visa journey gurus?).
Wishing you the best of luck! Hopefully I will have some good news for you soon and some tips for the interview! 👍

Some do some don't. Not every country can get visitor visa easily. No worries necessary

not at all, many K1 applicants have never tried or left their home country or ever been to the states. Very common and nothing to worry about

Hellloooooooo Everyone
June and July had a big update of case statuses yesterday.
They updated backdated approvals too.
This is the details of work done in January (only updated cases)
June July Total Jan W1 231 4 235 Jan W2 311 22 333 Jan W3 551 323 874 Total 1093 349 1442
I'm sure you can see how different it looks when they actually update things online!
We still have lots of cases (dates) that are not updated in the first part of June.
But here are the latest view into every month!
June July Aug Sept Oct Nov Dec Total Approved 1317 263 13 6 1 1600 Received 1358 2941 3519 3176 3770 3304 3297 21365 Touched 996 206 139 129 128 67 27 1692 Excluded 370 386 404 287 244 205 185 2081 Total 4041 3796 4075 3598 4142 3577 3509 26738
The latest date they touched at the moment is July 14.
DISCLAIMER: Here on are my personal educated opinion.
Now my thoughts on this from watching how it flowed in the past is that hopefully they are going to change processing times to July 1 as of November 31. in order to let the June filers be able to officially start inquiries (I am really hoping of this even though I know it is not correct)
July is definitely going stronger than how April, May and June did. by having this much ahead with this many approvals in only 1 week didn't happen for a long time.
Please continue watching around carefully. For those in the September, please still do not put money on anything and watch for when and how August will start.
For everyone else, If I were you, before making firm plans I would watch for how things are going on 3 months ahead of you.
Even though there is improvement (looks like it) the improvement is not from a perfect place, this improvement still makes lots of July filers get to 200 days. And June filers are already 200+ days. NVC right now is taking about 40 days (although not for everyone). So when you are planning ahead keep all these in mind and calculate as if K1 will finish in 10-12 months.
Basically calculate the worst but hope for the best!! Because your positivity will keep you and your relationship healthy and happy!! But being realistic will save your sanity!
I'll be here with any other update if I get anything else during the weekends!
Good luck to all of us!

Mostly rejected cases.
Other than that, withdrawals and Decision notices.
I try not to put NOIDs here because they can be solved with evidence.
and other denials usually occur way later in the process and some never even get an update.
I just put them to give the real number of applications, but they are the ones won't have a new action.

Oh wait. That’s what this is. And they started it for free to earn the feeling of helping people which is better than money. Because I’m grateful for that, I will come up with another business idea and leave that alone. This is priceless. 💕
The guy is like one of those ads that pops up one your phone and tells you your phone is infected with 6 viruses and will crash imminently unless you buy their phone virus busting app. It think it’s called scare-Ware. Well, he wants to scare people enough that they want to cover their bases and get his help. I think most of these services do. I used Rapid Visa. I don’t regret it, though. I tend to over-worry. But they just said they edit your package and send it. He is inflating rejection numbers and making it sound like none of us will see our fiancés come here without a big fight. Don’t worry. I believe we still have the right to marry whom we choose. It just might take a bit longer. I bet a lot of us could get together and start one of these companies, but be kind and helpful and make more.

That guy is wrong on so many items...or at least being (intentionally) misleading by neglecting details that some points only apply in certain circumstances.
Also, it was made (or at least published) last month using a timeline that is known to be off.

This video totally bummed me out. I mean, it's obvious to think this administration has a lot to do with the slowdown, but now it feels personal. This guy makes it sound like uscis will start denying petitions left and right. My fiance and I are both living abroad (I applied from colombia...anyone else applying from abroad?), so although I'm lucky enough to be with my fiance, I've been here for nearly 4 years and I'm ready to go home! If he is denied, I feel like I can't even go back home to my family and friends.

Hi August filers, how you all hanging in there? We got our Noa1 on Aug 30th, trying to wait patiently. We've all seen the expected noa2 date pushed months back and it's very disconcerting, but is there any chance they might speed things up (back from holidays, June having fewer i129fs filed. ..)? Could we see those March dates back up into Feb? Trying to stay optimistic here!

I have a question. I'm just starting my K1 Visa petition and this whole process with my fiance. However, I am living with him in Colombia. I am a US citizen and I'm currently working and living here in Colombia. For the mailing address, would it be best to put my address here in Colombia? Or can I put my address in the US?
I feel like this is an obvious DUH question but I want to be absolutely sure I'm putting the right address. I just fear that something could get lost in the mail but I'm not nervous you know..
Thanks!

Hey yogabbaz, I used my US address as the mailing address on the I-129F form and of course, listed my current address in Chile on the G-325a form. I also attached a supplement sheet stating my legal US address (same as US mailing address) and that I'm currently living with my fiancé in Chile and stated that address again. I mailed everything to my mom in the US first, where she added the check in and then she mailed everything from there. It took about a month to get from Chile to the US and then from there to the Department of Homeland Security. I just received a message via email yesterday that they received my packet so waiting to get the notification in the mail there in the US, so I'm not exactly sure what my status is at this moment. I hope this helps!

I did it from abroad as have a few friends of mine. You do not need to mail it from the US nor do you need a US mailing address - you can put a foreign mailing address as well. That being said, lots of people choose to have docs sent to the US so that they arrive faster, and because in many countries the mail is not reliable. I put my parents' house as a mailing address, knowing my mother would let me know if anything had arrived and would be fine sending documents if necessary (if we had gotten an RFE etc).
