Yeah I have 2 weeks before I called, I might give it until Friday if I don’t hear anything by then I’m gonna call first thing Monday getting abit anxious now scared our file has been lost or something 

Now I kinda want to call and see if I get through to anyone nice, but I called twice last week so I better not. I’m still waiting for a NOA2, received on June 27

Hi all just a quick question, I lived in Australia for 9 years but now back living in the U.K do you think I would need to get a police check from australia to or just the U.K?

They ask for your addresses on the I-129f for the last 10 years.
I'd say get both Aus and Eng, just to be safe than sorry.

Checking everything twice is totally different to saying "What do I do now? I got my NOA2..."
 
Totally respect you, and as I said, I knew I would be seen as the bad person for saying what I said, but I stand by it.  With the same breath though - I totally respect your opinion about what I have said.  Again though - "What if?" questions are not what I was referring to at all.  Those don't bother me in the slightest and its not what I was talking about.
 
What questions?  If you PM me you're much more likely to actually get a response directly, since sometimes this thread moves fast and I dont always read back every single message...

And in terms of your response to what I said, I most definitely wasn't talking about actually DOING things like going for a medical... but you at least know that after your NOA2, it goes to the NVC and then you get a medical, have an interview etc... THATS what I mean. You have done your research about the process after NOA2 and you know what you're doing... I'm talking about people who get their NOA2 after sitting around for 7 months and have absolutely no idea about what happens next... God knows what they'd do if this forum didn't exist.  As I said before, I'm very glad that it does, and I'm happy to help whenever and wherever I can, but I also believe I have the right to be shocked by people who don't know that they have a medical and an interview, or the general outline of the entire process.  Gosh.

I feel you!  There's some things you can do to prepare that shouldn't matter, time wise. If you haven't already, make copies of everything you sent with the original I-129 petition, as I've heard that helps for the beneficiary to have at the interview (not necessarily a requirement). Make a checklist of things to collect once NOA2 is in hand, such as income/employment verification, additional evidence of relationship, etc. Additional evidence could also start being collected now, like additional call/chat logs/records, etc. Basically anything that's dated since your petition date.

Sorry I’m stressing here but I just over read our NOA1 and you know how it says the beneficiary’s name and date of birth, then below that it says ‘please verify the personal information listed above and notify the USICS national customer service centre at the number listed below if any changes’ did you have to do that to confirm your information when you received the NOA1 or is that if they made a mistake with the name or date of birth?

Got back from Massachusetts after being there for 3 months on Monday and don’t know what to do with myself I was so use to being there and now I’m just lost with no motivation to do anything! 😔
