Hang in there. Long distance relationships are hard...especially when you're going through the immigration process. Don't lose hope though. I can promise you it's worth it. It took my husband and I two visa attempts and two years from the day we sent in our first petition for him to get here. The best thing to do is not compare your timeline with others. Unfortunately immigration moves at it's own pace.
 
You never know... the delays you think you're experiencing could be a good thing. For example, I had several people apply in Ghana for CR1s around the same time I did. Three of them moved much faster than ours. It frustrating and disheartening at times. But all three of those cases were denied for a second time within three months of our interview. About two months before our interview, the government busted the fake Ghana embassy that was selling real visas to people for a high price. Those visas were provided to fake embassy by people inside the real embassy. By the time my husband went for his interview, things had started to change. I am quite certain because our case took longer to process, we were protected from the fraud that was going on inside the embassy and were approved. 
 
So don't lose hope. The process is taking longer these days. Use this time to prepare for the interview. Go over questions together. Continue to collect evidence. And continue to build your case.

So sorry to hear this. This is crazy!....1. U have been to Ghana many times. 2. You have a child together for God sake....So why does it matter if family dattend the wedding or not or  if he don't remember or know how to explain his answer during the interview. Ur trips and having a child shows the marriage is real. Pls. Don't refill gather EVERY document u have n fight it.....u can win!
 
1.Letters from family and friends explaining their support.
2. Passport stamps of all ur trips from ur 1st trip to it last include ur daughter information as well, boarding passes etc
3. Write a letter abt ur marriage n how u have a child together , u took her to see her father for her bday...etc...
4. Birth certificate of ur child
5. DNA if possible
6 Joint account
7. Call log, text email everything
8. Pics from all ur trip dated 
 
 
 
 

Wow, thank you very much and congrats on ur family. Reglading the tax, my tax has been filed already before i arrived to Ghana n got married. I'd checked on filling as married and was told that I wasn't married in 2017 to add him. Other than that, he on everything I'm able to add him on

Yea, she sounded very confused over the phone. 1st she mentioned tht she emailed my fiance with the result and closed in their office then, she started talking abt 214b then later said no wait his was 221g. I did informed to her that we only want to knw the reason for the return that was when she said she,would open our case in her office and email the embassy. She got her  cases confused becuz 15 months is for CR1....thats what i thought.  Ill just forget it n get married. I also emailed the embassy yesterday hoping to get an answer. 

Yea, wasnt sure abt that. I will be there in April for 2 weeks (wedding) , 1 week in October then 1 week for his interview. I think is best if he add only his name.....dont wanna over kill again lol

Yes! That sounds abt right....it makes lots of sense. Thats y we not getting married now. We will wait for hear from the congression woman and  montior the Cece online. Once it shows return to NVC or depending on what the congression way, we get married or wait it out. 

Looks like they wanted to give her case another chance.

Omg, thank you so much! Ive been cryin  all day and even crying as am writting this. Is very sad! My fiance is feeling down form yesterday, which i was there to support him. I love him with evrrything i have😘. Ill return to ghana in March or April of 2018 and plan our marriage then ill return again October or november and get marriage and start the process that way we are building our case with more trips.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It really hurts to knw that u have been thru months of waiting to find out that the CO thinks is a "shame"!!!! Smh 😔😢. I am having faith and staying encouraged. 2. What are her sisters and brothers names?
3.Where and what does do for a living?
4. When was the last time he was him.
 
The officer left, came back and give him the white form and return some of the documents. He got my fiance telephone number and took his figueer prints.
 

Yea, i emailed her yesterday requesting that she ask on our behalf. Is so comfusing due to the fact that it was done after the interview

Hes already on my life insurance. We also submited tht for the interview. 

Thats our plan a civil wedding. We are no way near keeping up, it just hurts because he tried to do the right thing. I love him and will fight to get him close to me. Hes my world and hes all i got. Everything happens for a reason. I just cant stop the tears from my eyes. 😢

Ill wait  till is time to go in march or april. (4months)  If is still in AP ill canel it, get married and file.
