Lol trust me, you are not alone! I like this saying: "Hold the vision, trust the process". Hopefully good news for all of us soon 🙏🙏
I believe that all relationships going through something like this suffer a bit. Makes me wonder sometimes if they have bets going on in these service centers as to which couples last. I surprise myself in thinking this way, but In all reality, My thought process has changed a bit going through this. I don’t want to admit it at times but it’s made me a little angry. I just hope that us Aug filers don’t hit the 9 month mark. I was finally able to search the app and was really shocked at how many receipt numbers there were just for my priority date alone. Truly unreal.

I just received my RFE in the mail and it says pages 10-12 are missing. We did indicate that we didn't have an interpreter/attorney/anybody else completing our forms on our behalf so I'm thinking maybe I just thought the blank pages weren't necessary to send? Though I don't know why I would have left the blank pages in my application and not sent them with his... I'm hoping it was just a ridiculous mistake because if I left them out of both then I'll be getting a 2nd RFE for the same thing
Would they generally check everything else is there before sending an RFE?
I am sure that they would check everything before sending an RFE. From what I’ve seen the RFE would include everything they need. So the good news is 1. They didn’t reject it and 2. You are one step closer to receiving you noa2. After you submit what they ask for, it’s usuallt prettt quick after that. Keep us posted.

Awe, get better soon! But I know, it's hard. I let out a lot of my stress on my partner and I know it's so bad of me and that I need to stop letting this process affect our relationship. It's so hard...
Thank you so much. Same here, I take it out on him too as if it’s his fault. I just can’t wait til this over.

Doubt it for a couple reasons. Firstly, there are not that many LPR applications compared to USC applications overall. Second, these approvals happened over the past week, just when a couple of USC I-130 approvals were reported on VJ.
All I know is, I’m losing my mind. This has been so hard, mentally and physically. My cerebral pressure was good for so long and boom it’s back up again. Back to spinal taps 😭😭

Hi All
I've only just joined here. We've also filed in August (priority date August 13th), NOA dated August 16th. We've filed ourselves and it's currently at the Texas processing centre. I'm slightly worried as other than the first NOA, we've had no other communication whatsoever, no requests for further info, no updates etc.. Should I be worried? 😔 Thanks and hoping for speedy approval for you all!
Same boat...even filers before August are still waiting. It’s coming though...I can feel it in what’s become my ocd head...🤷🏼♀️

My wife and I are also in the same boat although we were able to be with each other for our 1 year anniversary in November but we haven’t seen each other since and we have no idea when will be the next time, it’s looking like it might not be till August if nothing has happened yet with her case although I don’t think I can hold out that long without seeing her. We also at times feel hopeless and desperate sometimes we feel like it will never happen. 😓
Isn’t it sad...I know exactly how you feel like everyone else going through this. I tend to get jealous when I see couples visiting each other often...I wish I could see my husband that often. All this has really messed with my head and I just want things to be as normal as possible. Having no control over a situation makes it all worse.

Hello Gojo and Inneedofmyhb I am not sure if you guys noticed, USCIS processing time went to 7-9months for Texas service center. I have always noticed that receipt date for case inquiry went back to June 29,2018 from July 04.
Just heads up.
Hello. Yes it’s gone back and forth. In my opinion those processing times are for more recent filers. From what I see aug is being worked on. Thank you though.

I dont know about you guys but I’m glad the time went forward in the US. It makes the day go by quicker. We are already in the middle of the month. April will soon be here. Every month that passes gives me hope that soon I will be with my husband. I’m trying to hold off in seeing him til interview time but I can’t wait. May will be our 1 year anniversary and God willing I will see him in May and one more time for interview before this is all over with. This is a lot of time from work and a lot of money for plane tickets😩. How do they expect you to prove bona fide marriage and meet the income at the same time. This is so depressing. This process is like “hurry up and wait” ... can’t wait til it’s all over.
Wow...you sound just like me! I haven’t seen my husband since October and I am also waiting for the interview to travel. April is our 1 year anniversary and unfortunately, we will celebrate it over video calls. The ticket prices are ridiculous. I have my job which is important since I’m the only sponsor and I have a teenager. They want proof that it’s a bonafide marriage by having face to face visits often but then again expect you to hold down a job so you can sponsor. My job will only take so much of my personal life. I can not jeopardize that. It’s almost like a they try to set you up for failure. And your right, it’s very depressing. Let’s just at least try and keep our heads up. But trust me, it’s not easy and many days go by that I feel absolutely hopeless. 😭😭

Oh! Nvm the couple replied. It’s a regular case, not a DCF!
This is the only place I know of to view what’s been appproved. I go to menu and then processing times. How do you get to what your looking atv

There’s one Aug case on the timeline page, but it says DCF. Is it a regular case?
Where are you guys seeing this? The timeline I look at says 3/7 was last approval and it’s not even August.

Yup. I used to work with an immigration attorney as an assistant and after seeing how unorganized he was, lying to clients about working on their case when it was still sitting piled up on his desk. I was there for 2 days and knew nothing about completing these forms and he would have me complete I 130 for clients without even walking me thru it😳. I felt bad for clients trusting him with this and paying $4000 just to complete forms that he only had a new assistant work on. It was too much unorganized chaos...That’s when I said, forget this, I’m doing it myself without an attorney.
Yes, they know exactly how to get to these people who are desperate. They should be debarred for what they do. I know someone who paid thousands of dollars because his attorney told him they needed a 601. Uscis sent them letter letting them know they didn’t need to file 601. But attorney kept his money. Not right.

Just stay on top of your attorney. They drop the ball on things. Visajourney is mostly for people that are doing this process by themselves without an attorney. You will get a lot of helpful information here about everything. Just ask and someone will respond with their best knowledge. Good luck to us🙏
I was thinking the same thing. In my opinion the attorney didn’t send the package when he said he did. Noa1 is the fastest thing you receive. And when you are paying an attorney, they send it express mail which gives them a confirmation of receipt. He needs to ask the attorney for proof of delivery in Aug. noooo way it took 2 months to receive receipt. Unheard of. And what’s also off is, when you have an attorney filing these papers, since your paying them, they pay the uscis fees themselves. Very strange....

Yes! Don't worry, if you sent the I-130 and your check went through, you're good. They'll send an RFE if anything else is missing. Fingers crossed for everyone! ❤️
Whoosh...that’s a big relief! Thank you and all fingers crossed as well.

Yeah, but they only wasted like a week or so, because they were rejected immediately for not having even the basic paperwork. It might also be due to a bounced check, etc.
Oh okay makes sense now. So at this point since we are in 7 months, we would have already been rejected, is what I am assuming.

Rejected for improperly filed means it was missing something major, like a signature etc. These are cases that need to be re-filed. As you can see, their last update was in August as they tell you this immediately if there is something major missing upon initial check.
So since their last update was in August the majority of these people most likely refiled already? I think I got it.

Wow. So those people have to start all over again?

Hello everyone! There’s a TSC August 2nd approval on IR-1/CR-1 Spouse Visa Timelines. This gives us some hope, they’re moving forward even with the USCIS processing time changing. Speedy approval to all of us
After a lot of obsessing last night, I was thinking that maybe the change in processing times applies to more recent filers. All of us Aug peeps are probably still within the previous processing times and from what I’m seeing, they are touching Aug now. Please please please is all I keep saying!!

The email says - On March 12, 2019, we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I130, PETITION FOR ALIEN RELATIVE. The request for evidence explains what we need from you.
I know, it's so expensive to get there and then there's always a possibility they won't even let you in with a current application processing anyway! So frustrating.
Okay, so now I know to check my emails as well...thank you
ohhh so your the beneficiary...I’m the petitioner, my husband is in Argentina. Oh yeah, don’t forget to update your profile with your RFE notice. Crossing my fingers for you!!!

Thank you!!! I can’t stop shaking!!! From what I know, when it says initia evidence it’s something to do with the evidence mailed with the petition. When it says additional, they want more proof.
