NOOOO, call them back and ask them to give you your case number and invoice number over the phone, also give them your email so that they can send you all your information on line is much faster.  Call and get this information and you will be able to complete form DS-261 which is choosing an agent and also you will be able to pay the AOS bill, once that's done you can move on to the IV fee and DS-260 form it will start things rolling for you guys, they tell you things just to get you off the phone.  Again, call back and get both case number and invoice number.

Hi Guys...  my I-130 for my husband was approved on March 16-2017 and sent to NVC.  As of today I have not heard anything from NVC but I guess its too soon, LOL

Just go on the IRS.GOV webpage and create an account and you can print your transcripts or sometimes they will mail it to you. 

I am going to tell you that from my experience you need to get that fix first, my name was misspelled by one letter and I got an RFE and back up my case for a month.  I suggest you take care of that first.

I would say it depends, I submitted my I-130 Nov 2017 and I am now at the NVC stage, the problem is that they are backup and are taking longer to process petitions.  it use to be 60 days and now is 11 weeks.

I agree, you are pretty much in control.  you have to make sure that you follow all the instructions and fill every form out very carefully, that way you don't get any RFE which can slow down your process.

You are supposed to send in Police clearance with your package if you are doing CR-1 not sure the process for K-1.. Now if you send in new documents it resets your time again for 11 weeks.

It takes about 3 days.  just keep logging in every few hours, that's what I did

Forget what other people might think, if his abusing you the best thing for you to do is leave.  It going to be hard but many people have gone through similar situations and are able to get out and continue with their lives.  You should contact a lawyer and see what they say.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I got a RFE as well with USCIS and I sent everything in the following day and it pushed my case back a month.  I think USCIS is the hardest part of this, I'm at the NVC office now and so far everything has been moving along pretty well.  Wish you the best of luck with your case, just hang in there and hopefully we'll be at NVC soon.

My case was approved March 16 and stayed at USCIS office until April the 12th which is when they sent it out to NVC.  NVC received my case on 4/18 and I got my case number and invoice the next day.  you can def call them today and you should be able to get your case number and invoice number.  Their number is 603-334-0700, the wait is long but you should get your case number and invoice so that you can start your next step.

They send me an email as well as a text message.  I would recommend you just create an acct with USCIS website so that you yourself can track your case, there were times that they updated my case and did not send me an email or text at all.  They will also send you a letter which looks like a certificate saying that your case was approved and that it will be send to the NVC, not sure what your letter would look like since I filed a different form then you did.

I'm sorry they said no, its hard not seeing your husband for that long.  I know what it feels since my husband is in the Dominican Republic and I try to visit every 3 months.  My case just got approved  so now I'm waiting to hear from NVC

I just got my case approved and it was send to NVC on 03/16/2017.  I know is not that long but how long should I wait before calling them? all I received was a letter saying that it was approved but nothing else.
