I can just barely make out the words "the above petition has been APPROVED"! I wont know the actual date issued until she gets it in her hands but I do know that today is 129 days since NOA1 and exactly 100 days out until our set wedding date in Nov. It's a good day!
Sent March 24th
Received March 28th
NOA1 April 3rd
Still praying for all still waiting! Believe me, I know how exciting but still disappointing it is to watch every approval come in other than your own. I have a feeling it won't be for much longer. Just keep the faith. It's coming.

I wouldn't even have started calling yet but I saw someone get theirs after 11 days so it seemed worth a shot. I'll call again Monday when it will have actually been two weeks. Hehe. Such a relief they're nice about us calling and being pests. This lady seemed a bit thrown but thankful when I told her to have a wonderful day though! I bet they deal with some interesting people...
Yeah, I was calling "too often" as well. Was already hoping they have maaaaaaaany call center agents there, so I don't have to pester and play clueless to the same person twice, haha!
But they're very, very friendly. Like everybody I've talked to or met in this entire process.
Though I wouldn't want their job... I can only GUESS how many impatient people (like we all are) are getting very, very aggressive after a few calls with no result.- GazLisa, Rev and Hurry&Wait

Called again today and they haven't received it. I'll try again in a couple days
Both people I've gotten on the phone so far have been very nice.
Ours took 18 days to be received at NVC. You should give them a couple of days, like you said.
It can happen any minute
I called on Friday, then again on Monday and got the number!
And, oh yeah they ARE very nice on the phone! -

Nope. For K-1 you only need the I-134.
The I-864 is for spousal visa. But we'll have to file that for AOS after marriage!39 minutes ago, Alysia&Luis said:Very common here. No worries! My forums, W2 and employer letter didn't match at all. You will be fine!

Aren't you afraid of rubbing it out with so much petting *paranoia, paranoia*
The High Roller was kind of disappointing to me, but I guess a wedding is something different
I was talking about Gary!! @GazLisa will be a passport petter, too!
Have you been in there? Cool!
We came on that, because it's not suuuuper trashy, but still Vegas. And something unique.... at least.
Since we have no chance to gather even half of our people at the same spot.
It's 900 bucks for daytime, 1300 (if I'm not wrong) for night time. One cabin, up to 10 people.
Expensive 30 minutes, but still
Why was it disappointing?
Come to messenger and tell me, before I do something stupid!*paranoia*

How is everyone going about making their wedding plans given the uncertainty associated with the timing of actually receiving the visa. We have a fairly good idea of when we will have the visa and she will be able to travel over, but we can't take anything for granted.
Are you guys going to do a full blown traditional wedding or what types of ideas are you throwing around?
We are going to have a small, brief ceremony in the fall with just our immediate family members right on Lake Michigan. We have friends that have a nice outdoors area in a really scenic area of the state who offered to host our reception, but accommodations may be challenging so we are also investigating renting a room at great little Irish restaurant and inn and holding a reception for close friends and family there. As if the visa process wasn't already stressful enough, we are left trying to plan for a wedding that we can't confirm!
Just wanted to get some thoughts from anyone willing to share
We will fly to Utah, grab his parents and sister (at least), and then head out for a road trip to Las Vegas!
Family has a time share there, which we can use, and the plan so far is to get married in the High Roller (biggestestestest giant wheel in the world).
If that fails... screw it, we'll go to Elvis haha

I've been at my place 14 years lol, had my replacement weeks ago 😮 I could have left this Friday if I wanted 😁 I get up at 3.30 am for work with little to no motivation now haha 😂
Wooow! Haha
We picked a replacement inhouse as well, but she can't make it. Some requirements are lacking, she'd die on my spot. So we have to hire someone new.
Otherwise my first plan would have worked.
Oh trust me, my motivation is in the minus lol
Thank god only facebook is blocked on the PC ^^ -

I can give a weeks notice 😁 so after my interview last Friday I gave my notice straight away ☺
Wowwwww! That's a short time frame!
I've been there for 10 years and a month now, so my notice needs to be 3 months ahead (actually).
I'd have loved to fly on the 8th already, but they need a follower for me, and she can only start at Sept 1st, so... they told me I can't go then. But it's fine... on the other hand, they came my way. 3 months would have sucked!
I don't know how I should actually WORK these 25 left times... hard to find motivation ^^- fatima& abdi and GazLisa

Ooooh 25 😁 I'm a little ahead of you 😬 6 more work days to go lol 😂
Wow!
Could you give notice that shortly?
I actually have to give it 3 months ahead. But since I told them was going on already in April they let me out with 6 weeks notice last week.
I wanted to have the last day on the 4th, but have to stay til 15th.
But that's fine.... 2 more weeks... doesn't matter. -

Yesssss lol 😂 no sooner had I finished whining to a certain person 😜😂
Haha, I made a "no whine" promise to someone!
This someone doesn't believe that though, haha!
All I have left to worry for now is the result of a gyn standard test, which comes next week. Should be ok, so.... then I go get the ticket.
Only 25 more times to work. That is really freakin NOTHING.
Can't believe I'm gonna see my freaks and freakettes there only 25 more times!- pajobra, GazLisa and KozmicBlues

Ugh.. the day after!
Thanks to everyone for their thumbs up and congratulations! To many names to tag, so this counts for all of you!
I still can't believe it!
I'm so used to being worried or in panic that I seriously thought last night: "What if I understood wrong and we're denied?"
Of course: "Your visa is approved!" is not to be understood wrongly, so I'll have to deal with that.
Good luck for today, Whiners! May it rain NOA2 again! Everybody here deserves it!
Have a fantastic day!

Does anyone know what page on this forum someone asked about the next steps after noa2 ? I dont understand why everyone calls to get a case number ? Is it because you can book an interview and medical if you have that number? Also do you know if you need the petitioners original birth certificate at your interview? Trying to read through all these forum pages but lets get real 😂
As soon as you have the NVC number you can a) track your case on ceac (which is the only tracker in the entire process that works), and b) as soon as you have your NVC number you can go and have the medical.
I got my number at 8pm and headed to the clinic at 4am after, because I was waiting since March to have it done hehehe
Also... c) once you have the casenumber you can go for the DS-160 and pay the fee. -

Good luck! I am sure you will nail it. I'll be interested to hear what questions they ask.
Thank you!
I'll report afterwards, once I'm able to communicate again!
Hopefully I won't embarrasse myself again like at the medical, where I couldn't remember my own adress because I was nervous.
I guess everyone around me will be happy once I'm through this, because I'm driving everyone nuts with my paranoia!
Just made my mom search 22 year old documents to clarify something I thought I forgot lol

@troika: WOOOOOOHOOOOO! You made it! The looooong wait is over! I'm so happy for you!!
Wish me luck for tomorrow, fellow Whiners!

Yeah, the stress never stops. I agree, honestly, so much beneficiaries have to triumph during this period of time. It takes great strength!
I have just updated Skype conversations a long with updated FB messages, a wedding dress receipt, I129F petition copy with supporting documents, I-134 from me and my co-sponsor, financial records from the bank from both me and my co-sponsor, IRS transcripts for the last 3 years from both me and my co-sponsor, a new letter of intent for both me and him.... and I may be missing a few things but I know I'll end up looking a million times just like I did with the I129F. I guess it's good to keep looking. Less chance of forgetting important documents and what not!
Yes, it's still going to be scary not knowing what they will say. I'm inclined to believe it's an approval though. But, I'm giving you all the luck in the world!!! Good vibes headed your way.
Lol, if it's not one thing you're worried about it's another! This process knows how to strike a panic attack.
Thanks for all the information!Yeah, actually I was a laid back girl before we started that, haha!
Thank you very much! I'm really thankful for positive spirit!
Your docu pack looks complete!
Now good luck for your LETTER!4 minutes ago, GazLisa said:Yessss 😁😁 I maybe one of the lucky ones but dealing with USCIS and NVC has been a painless experience so far 😁

I know completely what you mean! I'm nervous for my fiancee going to the interview. It has to be more nerve wracking for beneficiaries at the interview. I sympathize with you!
I think it's crazy how much paperwork you have to bring with you but then sometimes they don't look at all of it.
But, it's better to be over prepared in my opinion than completely under prepared, you know?
Haha, and tell me about it! Stress and anxiety is my best friend I tell ya.
But soon we'll be able to finally breathe and say thank god! Sure, we have to still deal with USCIS but at least we'll be doing it together with our loves!
I see you got your NOA2 at 93 days, so super lucky! But 127 days is lucky too. I hope to hear many NOA2 approvals today on here! Maybe I am just one of the many. It might be a jackpot of NOA2's today for both March and April! Nobody should have to wait 6 months even if it is normal processing time. Sucks the way it goes, but I'll be hoping for a quick and speedy NOA2 for the rest waiting.Seeing the happiness from others in this forum from getting approvals is amazing positive energy! It was like getting my own NOA2 in a way. Haha!
Yeah it was 93 days; I was about to look. Really, really lightspeed! But 127 is still speedy, indeed! Compared to the poor people with 140+ days we got jackpot!
It is really, really awful. In Germany you're only asked to bring your appointment confirmation + passport, because you're submitting everything with Pack 3.
But nobody I know came with empty hands yet. We all have THE FOLDER.
The only thing I will carry with me, that had NOT been sent in yet are screenshots from our weekly facetime, since we haven't seen uns since January, as well as the call logs since January, to proof the weekly facetime. I don't have more. And it's unlikely - at least it didn't happen to others - that they want to see more than the passport and the appointment confimation. But you never know.
And I know after the interview - if it's a yes - I will start worrying until ceac says "issued", then I will worry for my passport to arrive at home.
After that I will worry for not loosing it lol
Then I will worry if they let me in at POE.... My fiance keeps making fun of me, but I told him HE has the easy part. He only has to file a few forms and WAIT. haha
Oh, btw, since you asked: Scott has express mailed me the i-134 + belonging documents, a copy of NOA2 and a new letter of intent (just in case) after we got the NVC number!
36 days after the interview, status still "application received"
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports

That seems very long. My status changed to "issued" the day after the approval. Others took a week. But more than a month...
Have you tried sending an inqiury email to the consulate?
