    So we’re at 7 months today..... I’m
so happy to see so many of you approved from Texas and slowly Potomac..... us Nebraska people, we’ll just keep hanging on in there. Hoping that as they’ve transferred out a lot from June too that it will mean they can get to us July IOE cases faster than 12 months now too. We’re almost at 6 months since we filed for the I-129f now too so we will hopefully soon be seeing if that will have any impact or not. Stay strong everyone!

Probably not. I've stopped letting it get me down now. It's likely that most of them will start coming through July of this year if they keep going at the same rate.

It's cute seeing some of the Texas filers complaining. If only! 😉

    Hi all,
I recieved a call from a USCIS agent, my case was transferred from Nebraska service center to Potomac service center. Seems like they have transferred many cases from July to Potomac. I hope this speeds up the process. Fingers crossed.

Not as far as I’ve seen yet. Nebraska are still only on March 2019, they haven’t touched our i129f that we also filed in August to try and speed it up either. So there’s still going to be lots of us waiting on this thread for sometime still.

    UPDATE:
    A lot of cases processed from 2018 (May-December) and early 2019 (Jan-March).
Mass transfers in (mid-end of) June 2019 cases.

Checking my case status today, I see that my file is being transferred to a different service center. My NOA1 is June 19th 2019 and the transfer is today. I'll update my timeline once I know where it's gone and the reason...

Exactly. This is almost very accurate and close enough to the truth. I've posted previously that the actual processing times at this point is as follows:
    1~5% May-December 2018.
80~95% Jan, Feb, and beginning of March 2019.
These are not mere guesses. These are the facts that you can take for granted.
However, the percentages above represent a rough estimate to convey the picture based on the daily observed processing.
    You're welcome .

I haven’t seen a thread started for all of us new July 2019 filers so thought I’d get one started!

My husband filed and he got the text receipt on Friday 12th July and we’re waiting on the hardcopy of NOA1 at the moment. We’ve got an IOE receipt number so until we get the hardcopy we don’t know which service center we’re being processed by.

Feel free to comment below with your NOA1 and service center so we can keep in touch through this long process and share tips.

(and if someone has already started a thread feel free to merge it, I just couldn’t find one! 😊)

Shame they’re now processing them in Texas and Potomac like they were in Nebraska. Our i129f has been in since August and we still have no movement.

I totally understand you! It is frustrating to see people getting approved that filed around the time we did but had a fast center.

I really hope that things will be moving quicker soon so that y’all get some good news too! ☺️🙏🏻

Well the last few days I’ve seen Texas and Potomac cases from September and October who have IOE numbers and also applied for I-129f (don’t know why when those centers are so fast anyway) get their k3s denied and their i130s approved.... this has thoroughly annoyed me!! Not only is Nebraska the slowest, it’s now not processing the k3s as fast as they were so we are still stuck in the never ending black hole.... sorry! Just having a bit of a vent!!!!

Likely not, since the approval is within potomacs normal timeframe, added onto that I129f was only working in Nebraska before and is now no longer working for anyone

A correction. The underlying I130 does not have to be approved. In fact, an approved I130 actually kills the K3 case. As a K3 is used to come to the US while waiting on a decision for the I130, a K3 won't be issues if the I130 is approved. That's why the I129f was always denied at the same time/within a day or two of I130 approval: because once the I130 is approved it defeats the need for a K3. Denial reason for I129f "the petition for an immigrant visa has been approved and your spouse no longer requires the issuance of a K3 visa to await adjudication of the immigrant visa petition. Therefore, your I129f visa petition is denied".  A K3 is an approved I129f and I129f only. And even if a petition for a K3 were to be approved, the K3 would likely die at NVC as policy is to now go through will CR1/IR1 cases rather than K3s. That being said, the "1-2 months" after I129f no longer seems to be the case. I guess we will see what happens when some of these petitions reach the 7.5 months for I129f

Even though I know we're lucky to have got one of the "faster" service centres, this process is certainly a real test of patience and resilience. I feel in a constant state of "limbo", always going back and forth between wanting to get all my documents ready for the NVC, to wanting to pack my house up, to thinking about how I'm going to finish working, and all that stressful stuff about moving, while constantly having to remind myself to be patient and wait out the process and just let things happen as they go because it could take the remainder of the year to even get to those other stages. I know so many people do this, and we're all going through the same, but I don't even know where to start with "getting ready" when we're still stuck waiting on approval.

It's such a weird mental place to be in, on top of the daily stress and anxiety of being apart from one another. Luckily my wife is coming here to visit in a few weeks, but even this makes me anxious about yet another dreaded goodbye until the next visit while we wait, if border patrol will let me in with this pending petition... it's such a strain, every fibre in my body just can't wait for the relief of all this being behind us.

EXACTLY! This is what I have been saying. The other day when I saw Texas approving cases with the same PD as me I almost threw up. I was a complete wreck. I’m still recovering, but the depression is definitely settling in. I’ve tried my congresswoman and she said there was nothing she could do after she contacted them. They just said they were backed up and moving tons of cases to other service centers.. I’m just not one of them. She said my best chances are waiting for the 129F to be processed before my I-130, but IOEs don’t really have a timeline for that. We have no idea where we stand. Sorry for the rant, but I’m honestly overwhelmed at this point.

I’m happy for everyone who’s getting their fast approval in Texas and slowly Potomac, but it’s so hard seeing people with the exact same PD as us getting approved and knowing we are stuck and still waiting for who knows how long because we were unlucky with Nebraska and now unlucky with them not processing the k3 applications like they were either.

I know we will all get there eventually, it’s just hard waiting longer
