November 2017 filer here, just a word of advice make sure if anyone has any divorce documents to send ALL the pages of you divorce decrees. I got an RFE last week stating they needed ALL the pages as there were a lot.  So the mistake many are making is just sending a few pages and then the judges signature dissolving the marriage so just a word of advice so you don't get an RFE. It's taking about 6 to 7 months to get an approval so be patient and in the mean time learn and educate everything you can for the next step in the journey to get your loved one here. WE got an RFE on May 23rd for not having all my divorce documents and so I received the letter on May 26th and sent it back out on May 30th and got a message from USCIS  saying Response to USCIS request for evidence  was received on June 1st. So looks like it's pretty quick depending on where u live and so hope you are right in 2 to 3 weeks we can get that approval.

Hey everyone just a word of advice. I got an RFE letter explaining I didn't include ALL of my divorce documents because there were too may as  just added a few of the first few pages and then the judges signature so hoping everyone who has divorce decrees sent them all.  Just sent all the divorce documents back today so hoping in the next few weeks we can finally get our approval.

Hello Everyone just got an RFE mailed out today so kinda  bitter sweet deal so does anyone know the total turnaround on an RFE?  Nice to know at least they reached my case and so fiancee is okay too. Thanks!!!

Okay so kinda bitter sweet deal here got an RFE notice today so not going to panic but thankful at least after 183 days they worked on our case So how long of a turn around is it to respond and to approve the case once they recieve it? Thanks!!!

Nice you can give us an assessment of how they work and how they are processed a day and weeks and months so thanks for the hard work keeping us November filers encouraged as much as possible. I'm a November 20th filer so I'm somewhere looking  at least late May early June by your calculations. Great Job for the scans and data my friend!!!

Well said Paul and Mallory, and I agree this is not about being mean and rude but to be honest as hard as it may be so my only issue is if you knew he was here illegally then why didn't you take care of that before? Well I will pray for the best outcome because sounds like your husband is a pretty nice guy but we are all here waiting to get our spouses or fiancees here legally. God bless you maam.

That's only for when when you are ready for the actual interview at the embassy. The affidavit of support is filed AFTER your petition is approved.  

Ashaaaa congrats to you!! I'm feeling pretty excited also because we filed ours the same day you did so I'm sure we can't be too far behind. God bless you the rest of the way to your journey together.

Congrats to the filers as I know it's been a long time waiting!!.so looks like I can't be too far behind so I'm looking at still the end of the month as I filed on the 16th and received on the 20th of November.
