Lunch was onecan of chicken-noodle soup, bought at Sunday's ES, financially savvy we man.
Din-din was 2 Hungry Man meatloaf din-dins, ingest we and wee man.
 
In other gripping news, we cleaned the miu-box and curbsided the garbage, out-of-control we man.
 
Incorrigible party-animal we man!  Incorrigible, INCORRIGIBLE party-animal PARTY-ANIMAL we man!

Mary's interview is scheduled for 11/30 . . .  just in time for our trip to London on December 8th.

Did you look at the documents? That's what I did....I randomly checked today and then looked at the "documents" and saw the letter with the date of the interview.

You cannot win an appeal if USCIS didn't make an error.  It sounds like you responded to an RFP 6 months late.  I would refile with the correct documents.  This attorney is costing you a lot of money. 

The lawyer needs -- and, better, you need -- to check all papers before they're sent.

Just wanted to update everyone. I filed on Aug 25, had an interview September 30th and was sworn in the same day.
 
Most bizarre and quickest experience of my life 😕 hope everyone has similar luck!

Update
On 9/24/21 only the N400 interview was scheduled but it ended up being a combo interview because the I 751 case was still pending. The IO was very nice she waited for me because I dropped my husband off and was waiting near by. First the IO interviewed both of us then we were separated. Husband was interviewed first then it was me for the I 751 case. After my interview the IO said  we will be notified by mail for the decision and will interview my husband for the N 400 case. After his interview he received a paper that he passed the civic and read/write rest and I 751 case decision pending. Today I received a text notification about decision on I 751 case, when I checked IT IS APPROVED and approval notice sent. OMG the excitement on my face 😀. Oath ceremony scheduled for 10/25/21 best birthday gift ever 💃💃. Finally this process is coming to an end. Thank you to visa journey family we would not have done it without you all. Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

So...I just randomly checked the USCIS case online and it told me on October 4th my husband was scheduled for an interview.  The interview is scheduled for November 8th. He's freaking out (we thought it would be next year).

I came here to give an update and let you know that I was approved yesterday!  
 
My interview was scheduled for 10:10am in the Lawrence, MA office. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment, checked in and sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes until an officer called my name and led me to an interview room.
 
First he asked me to stand and raise my right hand.  He then asked "Do you solemnly swear that you will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, under pains and penalties of perjury"? After I said "I do" and got sworn in, he asked me to sit down and provide him with my passport and green card.
 
We then moved on to the test questions:
 
- What ocean is on the East Coast of the United States?
- Name one branch or part of the government
- If the President can no longer serve, who becomes President?
- Who did the United States fight in World War II?
- What is an amendment?
- Why did the colonists fight the British?
 
Next came the reading and writing test. He asked me to read a sentence off the tablet:  "Where is the White House?" 
And then I was asked to write on the tablet: "The White House is in Washington, D.C."
 
He asked me about when I arrived in the US, how I met my husband, how many kids I had, how often I get to see my family in Brazil etc... in a very conversational way. He even asked about how Brazil is handling the COVID-19 situation and if I was happy that the US borders are now re-opening for Brazilian visitors. He asked what I did for a living, and when I mentioned that I work with cancer research he wanted to know if we had any recent breakthroughs  
 
We then went through the application and the Yes/No questions. When he asked about ever being cited by a police officer, I mentioned that I had a speeding ticket from 10+ years ago that wasn't included in my N-400 application (I had forgotten about it). He said it was not an issue, asked me if I had paid the fine and then moved on the next questions.
 
He asked if I had paid my yearly taxes, but didn't ask to see my tax returns or any of the other documents that I had with me.
 
He was extremely friendly! The whole interview was done in less than 15 minutes.
 
He said I was approved, and then told me to wait in the reception area for a same-day oath ceremony. The waiting took a while, but I was out of there by 12pm!

Just checked USCIS case status. R's N400 has been scheduled for November 8. We are both freaking out a bit....we thought it would be next year...

6 months, not one year.

We are approved.  Now we start the business of living our lives, and going through this again in 2 years.

A lawyer won't be of much help beyond your own efforts.  Write the consulate (with your fiance's A# in the Subject line) and ask for precisely what they want, "to make things efficient for you" (say that).
 
If the consulate balks or drags its feet, try one more time, then involve the Immigration Liaison in your Congressman's office.  You'll fill out a permission form, and then that office can act.  But try the above first.

I... think we passed? Just waiting for status to change online but I think it went very well.  
 
I keep trying to lie down for a nap but about every 5 minutes someone texts/calls/pings one of us for an update. (He's passed out already and apparently cannot hear any of the notifications.) I should just turn off both the phones.

Quite literally dragged Mini-B. from bed in the morning, chip off old block wee man.
 
Lunch was onecan of store-bought* Chef B.-ar-D. "mini-ravioli with meatballs," ingest we man.

Din-din was bagged salad + hot dogs, ingest Two Guys man.
 
Mini-B. got upset when we won ONE of Many (2+2) games of Uno, regressing wee man.
 
Mini-B. spent a full half-of-half an hour excitedly describing one of his video games to us, didn't understand a word of it we man.

AOS interview in the morning. A little stressed, so of course I book having dinner with a friend the night before, completely forgetting what I need to do in the morning. 😕

For the whole weekend I've been reading "The only plane in the sky: An oral history of 9/11". Amazing book. Simply extraordinary.
I know it was published in 2019, but it was just translated to Polish, so I could read it.

Of course that was meant to offend..otherwise you would have not called out all MENA men and called them Macho Men. And, by the way, I am offended. There is a six year age difference between my Macho Man and I......me being older. We are both in our 40's. He is intelligent and kind and generous and magnificent in every way  (and, by the way, he's cooking supper right now). So, before you make sweeping generalizations about someone from a specific region of the world......how about you go ahead and remember.......people are people......good and bad, honest and dishonest, loyal and disloyal, perfect and flawed.....but in general....people are just people. We fall in love and try to make the best of it.

I think he has decided just to add a middle name.  And he has chosen "Alexander" (your taste is impeccable....that was the name I suggested too 😊)

My grandmother called my father "butch" so that's a no go....
But I'm going to throw "bullwhip" and "zorro" out to him....those both seem solid....🤣

Everyone here is guiding you in the right direction. Let me try to explain a bit....
 
you cannot apply for the k1 visa until you have physically met (you need to provide proof of meeting) 
You have not met in person and had a Nikka marriage over Skype (technically you are TOO married to file for a K1 visa because you are religiously married) but you have not been administratively married (that process takes a few weeks, in person, in Morocco)
You are applying for a K1/CR1 visa in Morocco...a MENA country....the visas are notoriously difficult to get....you have to have mountains of proof..(airline tickets, passport stamps, receipts, descriptions, pictures together and with family). 
You were initially married over Skype...expect that to be incredibly difficult to overcome (there will be extensive questions about marrying someone you had not met....the inference will be to gain immigration benefits). 
@carmel34 is absolutely correct. There needs to be many visits and Co mingling of finances. And you are correct...it may take a year (or more).

I have submitted my N-400 on 16 Aug online and soon I got NOA about submission and reuse of my biometrics. Before biometric reuse NOA processing time was 13 months, now its approx. 7 months.
