on page 3 and 4 of the i-485 instructuions part c( fiance) says an entire report is not needed just the vaccination supplement does that mean that the i-693 is not needed?
We just included the DS-3025 that my fiance got when he picked up his medical report. From my understanding and what I have read here on VJ the I-693 is not needed for K-1 filers

We got the bio appointment letter over the weekend. My husband goes next week for his appointment! Also he has a job offer so we are hoping that he will be able to get EAD expedited.

Finally mailed our AOS packet last Friday. Hoping it arrives at the lockbox today. Looks like e-notifications for NOA1 are taking about 1 weeks. Here's to hoping for a speedy process for us September filers!
Congrats! It did take a week for our e-notification and today (according to USPS informed delivery) we will be getting the hard copies in the mail

Hi planning to mail out mine on Friday. Any advice or help in reviewing it? Sent out I-485, I-693,I-864, & I-765 forms. With it attached check, passport copies, k-1 visa, noa2, 1-94, birth certificates, marriage certificates, g-325a, passport pictures, bank statements, 3 year taxes, letter from employer of may 2017, & pay stubs....anything missing? Really would appreciate y'all help.
Good Wednesday!!
Congrats!!! With the new updated I-485 form the G325A is no longer required. Just make sure you have the current I-485
Other than that we also included the DS3025 (vaccine report) and a couple of photos from our small wedding.

We don't want to wait but might have to with money being tight. the AOS is such a big chunk. lol I know I am going to go crazy not working but I have scoped out volunteer jobs at local museums and such that I will probably try for just to keep myself busy.
That will be good. Having all the museums in Washington DC to explore has definitely helped him some

Poor Luis
Hope that is speedy for you, I'm sure he is anxious to get the full experience going
Exactly!!
2 minutes ago, pajobra said:Why wait right. LOL Chris and I are going to get married right away after I get there but won't file AOS until December because that is when Chris gets a big Christmas bonus from his company.
Yep using the bonus to pay for my AOS.
I wanted to wait a little bit, but he is really having a tough time with not being able to work right now. Whereas me, I wouldn't mind a few months off LOL!

WELL! If You Aren't The Sly One?????? I read your signature...... You Filed Again............ Hey @Estibaliz and @TearsOfBabylon - Look what she just did!!!!!!!!
Looks like you are also the FIRST to AOS
Still going full steam ahead LOL
Good luck with them guys. Hope this time around they work in order and efficiently - but I doubt that hahaha What address do you mail it to? Same TX lockbox? or somewhere different?

We did do a thing! We did wait 4 days to file LOL! We really did not slow down after NOA2 and it is for sure time to relax. Well at least Luis gets 3-4 months, until EAD is ready

Starting the Sept 2017 AOS thread.... mailed my husband's I-485, I-131 and I-765 out yesterday.

Nothing like putting ALL your eggs in one basket. Does everything they do defy logic and sound reasoning? LOL
Definitely doesn't seem super logical to me, but that location is less than 15 minutes from my home...so I might be tempted to go knock on doors if needed through AOS and such

It will hopefully be a fun story one day - it did get a little scary, a few abscesses showed up - about a week in the hospital total. All is well now though

Ugh about the burst appendix though those are no fun.

So now that I received NOA2 - when should I mail my packet to my fiance? Copies of everything, etc...
Should I wait till I get the NVC letter by mail and then copy and include that in packet?
Thanks for any info.
Want to get all our ducks in a row
@Estibaliz is right
Definitely don't wait for the NVC letter by mail. If we had to do that we would still be waiting as I never received any mail from NVC!

Hi there,May I ask a question about AOS here?
I want to know do we need to fill in the form supplement A to form I-485?thanks
Here is the best place for your AOS questions.... http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/7-adjustment-of-status-green-card-from-k1-and-k3-family-based-visas/
But, no if you are filing AOS from K1 you will not use supplement A for I-485

Omg! I'm so glad I read your comment.. So you think it won't be a problem if it's different from G325a and his Certificate of Employment?
Yes.. Even here in my country, but I will try my best not to use the interpreter.. I'm just so anxious right now..
No problems! You will be fine - I know we will be seeing approval from you next week!!!

@Yzabelle Hey! So you might check with other Philippines filers, but for my fiance (and what I have seen for others) is that they actually conduct the interview in the countries native language. So my fiance's interview was in Spanish
Hopefully yours will be the same.
For the job title, also common for those two titles to be inter-changeable. I am actually a Quality Assurance specialist, but often get referred to as quality control. You are good to go!

How do you find out what is required for each state?
I just looked up the requirements on the Washington DC marriage license requirements. If you are getting married in IA then here is the link for Polk County - https://www.polkcountyiowa.gov/recorder/departments/vital-records/marriage-records/

I-129F March 2017 Filers
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
Preparing AOS is one of the things that helped me pass the time when we were waiting for our NOA2
Then they went and changed the I485 form!! For the new I-485 form the G-1145 is no longer needed. For K01 filers just need to include the DS-3025 vaccine report and the I-693 in not required. For the I-864, I basically did the same documents over that I had for the I-134 - taxes, pay stubs and letter of employment. I also included a copy of the NOA2 from our I-129F and a few pictures from our wedding.
I am so glad to see a lot of March folks getting closer and closer to the final steps!!
