Woohoo, so fast! That's incredible to hear!

If anyone else is working on scheduling interviews, do let us whiners know how far your embassies are booked out for :)

And anyone else left in my "still waiting for NOA2 camp"? LOL feel so lonely as it seems most of March has gotten theirs, which is wonderful news!

Yes! We are so excited to get an interview that soon! I know you all have NOA2s coming right around the corner!

    Yeah, it's really awkward.
I mean, I'm 37 and living in my own household for 13 years. There's a lot of stuff in this apartment... :/
I need to get it done soon, before I start mourning for my spoons and plates. :D

But seriously. I got really sentimental the other day... 6 boxes and a suitcase is really not much.

Yes, you can be glad you don't have to move. I told Scott he's so lucky. He just has to wait, while I have to deassemble all my life, deal with the "no date to plan" thing (which really stresses me out, because a) I'm German, b) I'm highly organized and always prepared and c) I'm German AND highly organized haha)  and try to deal with this whole unclear situation.
So I kind of like the waiting time at K-1, because it gives a little time to do stuff properly and then be really ready to leave.

I could not imagine!  I have reduced a lot in my 33 as I have moved all over the country, but I could not think even think about where I would begin if I was the one moving to Peru.  Luis is a super minimalist living in furnished apartments and what not.  I will be bringing one extra bag back for him when I go next week.  Then he will bring his two checked bags when he moves here and be all set.

Main reason I replied is you made me giggle when you said mourning your spoons and plates!  I have WMF silverware and pretty much whenever we have folks travel to Germany for my work I send them to WMF to get me extra fork or spoon to replace one I have lost or just to have extra!

Hello, everyone! I finished doing my two albums that I will present during my interview 😊😊😊 Now, I will just focus in the screenshots and the important documents that really needs to be presented at the embassy. :))) I'm still waiting for my NVC number. Next week, Monday, My fiancé will Start to call them. ;)) I'm very positive we'll get it by next week.. and My medical will be on July 13th! :)) And I will surely be under the sputum smear test and culture test since I had a history of PTB year 2015. :)) Please pray for my smear test and culture test to be all negative! :))

I hope everyone here will get their NOA2s already. I'm praying for you guys! :)) ❤️❤️❤️

Two albums! Awesome!  I need to finish up ours for my fiance to take to his interview.  Did you label the pictures (like who was in them)? I have some with me and his family members and I am wondering if I should label them with who is in the pictures.

I hope all goes well with your medical!! :)

why my fiance has been calling 3 times a day but still can not reach NVC? Is that my number is wrong?

Here's how I do it. I call the immigrant line 603-334-0700, English, then option 5. It always says busy, call back later. You have to literally just call back to back for a minute straight or longer until it connects.

Not sure how much (if any) the options play into it, but I selected option 7 after picking English - had a long hold but got my case number

92 days here. I don't know at this point if were a March or April filer, because my NOA1 was April 4th but the received date was March 28th. I suspect March only because our WAC number was in the March scans. But I don't know.

Personally, I would say both! My received date was Feb 28th and NOA1 Mar 3rd, so I just considered myself in both filer groups 😁.

At least the birthday! And soon he'll be here with you! :):)

Where in Germany is his brother located?
If you ever need any tourist advice... never hesitate to ask! :)

I don't remember exactly, I keep forgetting to ask him again. I will have to ask him again tonight. I will for sure take any tourist advise I can get.  I actually have a good friend in Babenhausen that I will get to visit as well!

Ohhhh that sounds nice. I'm a harbor maniac. Total ship geek!
Scott and I spent New Years 2015/2016 in Hamburg/Germany at the port of Hamburg, right in the middle, on the bridge of the biggest seaworthy museum cargo ship in the world. I happen to know someone who works on there, so he gave us crew wristbands and we could watch from up there. It was amazing. At midnight every ship in the port started honking and the fireworks started... it was breathtaking.
Would actually have been a perfect moment for proposing, but my mister was busy taking pics. Tourists... lol :D:D:D

Oh sweet, I'm so happy for you to go see him before the process ends! You're very lucky! :)
A friend of mine was in Peru for vacation a while ago. She liked it a lot!

That sounds like it wan an amazing sight!! Luis actually has a brother living in Germany and I really hope we get to make a trip to visit him soon.  It is definitely one of the places on top of my bucket list of places to visit!!

I had actually planned to go to Peru for his interview, but with my work schedule in late July/August I won't be able to get away.  So, I decided to still take the trip and go for his birthday (July 4th)!

Oh really? Dang! I'll take Scott and we come over to you, haha!
We've spent New Years at his friends house in Virginia Beach and there was noooooothing! It was really strange for me to have nothing getting blown off.
Funny thing was, whenever some rebel who must have smuggled something in from NC or so shot a rocket somewhere, the German was like aaaaaaaa blinky eyes, while the Americans around me (except for Scott) have been looking irritated lol

We here almost blow off our cities for New Years. So this countdown with TV and no fireworks felt so wrong haha
I felt like an alien. A real one :D

Oh wow!  I would have been real sad too!  I guess being closer to DC they do it real big there - the National Harbor has this big show that you can see from my apartment complex.  I LOVE the fireworks for all the holidays!  I am going to miss them next week for the 4th of July - but it is okay since I will be in Peru :)

Oh yeah, for my first visit last year I walked out of the airport in Norfolk and it felt like the air is hugging me. The day after we went to VA state fair... same. Soak!
But after that - LUCKILY - it became better.
I liked how it was at Christmas. Great hoodie weather :) <3
But it was soooo weird to have new years without fireworks at midnight.

Yes, winters are perfect hoodie weather!  No fireworks on new years?  That is crazy, they have them all over Northern VA for new years
