Congratulations ! Even through the NOA is dated July 1st, the priority date mentioned on it is still June 5 ?
I am in the Nebraska boat too with received date June 18, but i have not received neither bio metric update or NOA
It lists a received date of: June 5th
Notice Date: July 1st
No biometrics yet for me either but I'm not really concerned about that part.

Date of Received Filing: Jun 5th
NOA Dated: July 1st
Weird thing is I called on July 6th to request a service inquiry. They told me they had originally sent one out on June 10th but would send me a new one within the next 15 days since I didn’t receive it. Well with this one being dated July 1st, I’d take the information they give over the phone with a grain of salt. Also I guess I’ll receive another copy at some point. Who knows? At least now I can rest easy for the next year or so. And also get my license renewed. lol Good luck all.

I’d say it means exactly what it says. It was signed for at the USCIS mailroom. Mine was FedEx’d also and went directly to the mailroom.

Update, my credit card was charged yesterday morning June 11 and today June 12 this morning I received my receipt number via text message. It starts with LIN. Can anyone tell me what center that is ? Thank you guys and best of luck for those waiting. Be calm and patient.
Hey, yea I was also given a LIN number. Everything I’ve read says it’s the Nebraska Service Center.

Guys I need prayers...i did all I could...to make sure my package is perfect..but God knows better...
Called customer centre gave a email address to send a mail which I know they never reply..
But can u giys advice on this..
I want to send a letter by courier to Phoenix lockbox asking what's going on..
SOS..What do u guys think about this..i need advice🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥶🥶🥶🥶😢😥😰😥😢
Its sooo easy to think worse case scenario with these things. I’m sure I stress out and age an extra year everytime I have to send one in. Try not to worry too much tho. Did you make a complete copy before sending? Make sure you have the right forms, everything was signed and dated by both you and your spouse where necessary, no boxes missed, card numbers are accurate... Outside of all that, sometimes there’s just a lagger than gets through just fine but just takes a bit longer to catch up.

Good news all around! Very excited for you guys!
I have a question: my husband and I have several joint savings accounts we've had since getting married (like Emergency, House Savings, Car, Travel) and I've printed the statements since then to now and the amount of paper for those alone is insane; especially since there's more stuff to include such as car insurance policies with our names on it, health insurance, phone annd other bills. Do you think having all those joint savings accounts is overkill or necessary?
Thank you so much!
My package came in at a whopping 6lbs and ive heard of heavier. Our bank statements were definitely the bulkiest section. My motto from the start though has always been send EVERYTHING. lol Especially with financial co-mingling being such an essential element.

Nearly 3 weeks after my AOS interview which was verbally approved and yet there is no welcome mail, no green card and no updates on the website. Has this happened to anyone here?
That doesn’t seem like the normal trend if it went further than just a verbal. I had my interview a week after you I think and I got my card in the mail last Thursday with various “on the way” updates (production, mailing) starting a few days before that.

What questions did they ask you?
Just standard stuff. First we went through the application just to make sure it’s still accurate and some of the YES/NO security questions. Then stuff like Where do we live? Is it just us? Some of her family’s and mine’s names. Do we have any nieces or nephews? Her birthday. How did we meet? When did we meet in person? Has she met any of my family? Then a little of my travel history throughout the years as a student on student visa. Like I said, these were all questions he knew the answer to before he asked them by talking to my wife first or just looking through my passport. It was seriously nothing that would be difficult for any married couple to answer tho. I know it’s easier to say than do but dont worry about it. Just tell the truth; there was nothing that required a books worth of detail. It’ll be done before you know it. For evidence, even though I wasn’t sure we had enough, I had brought so much more than he even wanted to see that it took me by surprise when I heard the words, “ok, well you’ve met all the requirements to be approved”. I kept thinking “but I have more stuff to show you”. LOL

Hey everyone, checking in to say we had our interview yesterday and we were APPROVED on the spot. I will say, we were not interviewed together at the outset so be prepared for the possibility as it can be surprising. My wife (sponsor) was interviewed first and then she was brought out and I was brought in to be interviewed. No hard questions, just a conversation (how we met, meeting of family members, our living situation, a little travel history and some of the I485 YES/NO security questions, etc). But I did find out later that most of my questions were already asked of my wife in some form so I assume the interviewer was double checking me for any inconsistencies. She (the sponsor) was asked more questions on various things (my job, our wedding) than I was though and according to her, he had marked approved on some sheet before I ever came in (no clue what that was). At the end, she was brought back for us both to, TOGETHER, present our joint evidence materials. The interviewer even complimented us on our paperwork organization. lol All in all, about 30 minutes and we were reminded to reapply in 2 years - 90 days for ROC. We were a little nervous at first but everyone in the office was nice throughout the entire process so that was calming.
Received this via email and text message this morning:
Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production
On August 28, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC#, and will mail it to the address you gave us.Feels good to have a 2 year-ish break that we can just go on and enjoy our lives instead of worrying about paperwork. lol Good luck to everyone still waiting. It feels like a long road but God-willing, your turn will soon be ahead. Blessings
By the way:
I485/765/131 NOA1 was 01/19
EAD/AP approval was 5/31

Thank you for responding. I have my 2017 tax return. Do I need to fill a new I 864? Since it’s different incomes and everything??
Bear in mind. They usually want tax return "transcripts' from the IRS. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Congrats on getting your AOS interview letter.
Ha yeah I old those check your status sites with a grain of salt. Most of the time they are all talk and no display. HAHA I honestly HOPE my interview letter does not come. I am currently in a job where I have 3 months of training and you are NOT ALLOWED to have time off during training. So I would have to reschedule. I guess if it comes to that I will but luckily Denver seems to still be quite behind and I do not expect anything from them til January next year. I am quite happy to be in a slow place. Who woulda thunk it.
Thanks! I TOTALLY understand. I start training for my new job this coming up Monday but its conducted at their HQ in Indiana so im gone for 2 weeks and then back home for 2 weeks and gone again for another 2. Was hoping the letter didn't come because I didn't want the hassle of having to reschedule. It came anyway buy it worked out for the best because the interview date fell right in the middle of the 2 weeks ill be back in town.

Heads up, both the USCIS sites are still saying "Fingerprint Fee/Received Biometrics Fee" for me with nothing about the interview but here I am with letter in hand. And FYI, interview letter was mailed out to me Fri, Jul 27th and I got it Monday 30th so it only took a weekend for me to actually get.

Hey everyone! Posted this in another VJ AOS forum but thought id check in here too with the old gang about my experience so far. I-485 interview notice FINALLY came in the mail, thank God! Hey everyone! Big news today so just wanted throw an update in. Green card interview notice FINALLY came in the mail this morning, thank God!!! So excited to be getting closer. NOA1 was 01/19.....EAD/AP was approved on 5/31 so today makes it about 2 months later. Interview appointment is marked 08/27 so about 1 month from now. After EAD came i moved on to focusing on job efforts and getting "LIFE' started but id be lying if I said I wasn't still holding out hope for putting that green card approval behind me ASAP. lol
Hope everyone is getting along ok. My best advice is to try to just fill your time with living your new life as fully as possible if you got your EAD. The letter will come when it comes.....

Read here https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/nonresident-alien-spouse
"You and your spouse are treated, for federal income tax purposes, as residents for all tax years that the choice is in effect. However, for Social Security and Medicare tax withholding purposes, the nonresident alien may still be treated as a nonresident alien."
Thank you so much! I knew there had to be some way but my tax guy kept telling me different and I could not find a legitimate source to prove it to him.
I will show this to him in the morning and see what he says.

Yes, I did. You get itin or if you ever traveled to the us on a particular visa you can use limited ssn if you have.
I have a SSN already, thats not the problem. The problem is that I'm being told that the foreign income exemption only covers an exemption from income tax. It does not exempt you from having to pay social security/medicare tax if you didn't pay similar tax already on income made in your home country. So filing jointly and as a tax resident would cost us money rather than save us money.

Just completed our interview today! We were asked 5 or 6 basic questions and the interviewer said all was good. He didn’t even want to see anything we brought other than ID. We didn't get written approval, he just gave us a white paper that read “your case is being held for further review”. Which honestly left us kinda puzzled since he originally said all was good. 2 hours later we got the “Card is being produced notification”.
We’re just glad it worked out. Onward to 🇺🇸 citizenship! Good luck and stay positive to all those still waiting. Your time will come.
