I had an interview at AOS, yet our case has been sent to the field office to be scheduled for another interview!! so annoying. Anyways, does anyone know how long the Phoenix office is taking to schedule the ROC interview? I cant find any estimations anywhere!
sometimes they dont interview and just cancel it and take a positive decision without it, keep fingers crossed either ways

How do people know what percentage of people are getting their documents when? When I check the USCIS website for Potomac it just says 18 to 21.5 months
first number in that range is 50% of cases, 2nd number is 93% of the cases. Also take these numbers with a pinch of salt.

Planning to file n400 in June 2021, have started collecting documentation for the same. Seems like I will be doing it online like majority of the people.
The traction at MSP field office on this forum seems to be slightly faster than mentioned on the USCIS official processing website page.
do let me know if you guys/gals have any tips or pointers I should be careful about.
best of luck

I will be filing it online as well, all the best to you 👍🏻
As long as file size is 6MB and less there shouldn’t be any problem. Can you please be more specific to what problems you are talking about?
Yeah in 2020 Filer threads people have complained about saved files disappearing especially if you review your submission multiple times.
sombody suggested to just upload all files at once rather than adhoc over multiple days and sessions.

Hello, I am planning to file June 15 too, planning to E-File. I have seen complains about attaching documents with the N400 online on this forum, does anybody know if those problems have been resolved or not ?

Yes don’t wait for the i751 notice, it will be most likely a combo interview and you need to bring your husband and the supporting documents for ROC. I would suggest just getting the extra documents that you have not submitted already to USCIS, like updated joint statements, etc
best of luck

This thread seems to be a little inactive, I recently noticed there has been some traction at LIN, people are even getting approved in 8/9 months. I am in the June 2020 filer boat, it would be awesome if people can share the traction on their end.
After literally posting my above comment on this thread, i got my ROC (i-751) approved on March 6 2021, my priority date was 18 June 2020, so it got approved in exactly 8.5 months, initially i could not believe the eyes when i saw the email because nebraska center is averaging 50% cases in 13 months and 93% cases in 28.5 months so i did not expect much. However, i have seen atleast 2 more cases on this forum from LIN which got approved in below 9 months recently.
Best of luck to everybody else in Nebraska Service Center.

Update after 8.5 month of waiting, i got an email from the USCIS the card is in production as of March 5 and today March 6 the status changed to petition approved for ROC.
To say i am elated would be to say the least. I could not believe my eyes because Nebraska center is averaging at 13 months for 50 percent and 28.5 months for 93% of i-751 cases, so to get this approved right at 8.5 months after filing is such a relief.
Now can finally sigh a breath of relief before I file for N-400 online.
Best of luck everybody.

Immigration is a good test on following the rules . . .
While a lot has changed since this thread was started 2011, basic rules like 90 days before . . . etc, have not.
Just send the whole packet back. And remember the same 90 days before applies to the N-400 if you go that route,.
this thread is literally back from the dead lol
Also always use the USCIS early filing caluclator it makes life simple https://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-early-filing-calculator

thanks for sharing! hope this means the process will be uniform and everyone who is interviewed for N-400 with a pending I-751 will also be interviewed for the I-751 concurrently.
you are eligible to file for n400, are you holding off ?

Hey guys I saw that they USCIS is coming out with a new policy manual for there officers who are adjudicating cases. This section applies to us who are filing pending I-751 and N-400 petition. Here is the link https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-g-chapter-5
“2. Spouses with Pending Petitions and Naturalization Applications
An application for naturalization may not be approved if there is a pending petition for removal of conditions. If an applicant’s petition to remove conditions is pending at the time of filing or is filed prior to the interview, USCIS will adjudicate the petition to remove conditions prior to or concurrently with the adjudication of the naturalization application.”
”An officer should conduct the naturalization examination even if the petition to remove conditions is not in the CPR spouse’s A-file. The officer should follow internal procedures to request the petition. The officer must not approve the CPR spouse’s naturalization application until the officer has reviewed and approved the petition to remove conditions.”
This seems to be an official green light to officers that they can do a combo interview.
Overall seems to be a step in the right direction, because i have observed some cases where the N-400 interview happened and then USCIS went cold turkey because ROC was not adjudicated.

finally a sigh of relief, after not hearing from them for almost a month, my fingerprints were update last afternoon, and today morning I got the NOA letter dated July 1, I wonder what took 16 days to reach me, but i am guessing they just do batch updates and then ship things together.
Now starts the long wait. Fingers crossed, and best of luck everybody.

Update: it’s my NOA extension letter. Just pulled it out of the mailbox : )
Date of Received Filing: Jun 5th
NOA Dated: July 1st
Weird thing is I called on July 6th to request a service inquiry. They told me they had originally sent one out on June 10th but would send me a new one within the next 15 days since I didn’t receive it. Well with this one being dated July 1st, I’d take the information they give over the phone with a grain of salt. Also I guess I’ll receive another copy at some point. Who knows? At least now I can rest easy for the next year or so. And also get my license renewed. lol Good luck all.
Congratulations ! Even through the NOA is dated July 1st, the priority date mentioned on it is still June 5 ?
I am in the Nebraska boat too with received date June 18, but i have not received neither bio metric update or NOA

Agreed ! Also even though the n400 is under the 5 year rule, the whole immigration journey/file can technically be reviewed. It happened to somebody i know, the petitioner actually got very nervous as the I/O was poker faced and my friend could not understand why he asked him things related to marriage even though AOS and ROC had all happened smoothly years back without any RFE's etc.
Better to be prepared than have a deer in the headlines moment.
Best of luck
