Hello everyone I filed the I-751 form on June 01 and they received on June 02
I got the notification from USPS and the person name who signed but after 15 days, I didn't receive any notification or update from my case, so I was wondering what can I do the website said:"NOTE: Do not submit an inquiry if you recently filed an application. You should receive a receipt notice within 30 days after filing at a Service Center or 30 days after filing at a Lockbox. "
but other cases the credit/check was charge after 3-5 days after USCIS received their forms so I believe is something wrong with my case...
also in USCIS online website to make a claim or ask for an update on your case you have to write a Receipt Number something that I don't have yet...
any help or information I will be more than happy to heardSorry to hear that, generally if they don't respond for more than 2/3 weeks it generally means a rejection, which could be due to a multitude of reasons like forgetting to sign, sending too soon, etc. Hoping yours is not a case like that but just FYI. I am assuming your money was not deducted yet ?

Hi!
ROC Timeline:
8/7/2019 - Submitted ROC jointly
8/12/2019 - NOA
9/24/2019 - Biometrics Appointment (NYC)
5/12/2020 - Submitted N400 online
6/15/2019 - Received email of ROC processing action:
"There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.
Receipt Number: EAC19901*****
Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE
Your Case Status: Initial Review
On June 15, 2020, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number EAC19901*****, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by July 15, 2020, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."Does this automatically mean that either we would need to provide additional evidence or that we would need to be interviewed for the ROC?
Sounds like they might have moved your case to your local office because of your N-400

I included nothing like photos or plane tickets or any of that. I mean, if I have her on my insurance, what does it matter that we went to NYC together? BF/GF travel together, only spouses are on each other's insurance. And credit cards. And bank accounts.
After reading through a few of these threads, I do wish I had include 1) a marriage certificate and 2) a copy of my wife's passport with her name changed.
I agree, many of these things don't make sense, financial intermingling should have the highest weight, but what they also want to see i guess is that you guys "lived life" together, so over the few years you have continued to go over trips, etc.
I would stop worrying now that you have sent your package, actually going through this forum is a double edged sword, on one hand its awesome to know these little things but then if you find out extra things that you should have done post sending the package, it only makes our minds go numb with what if and what now scenarios 🤪. If USCIS has an issue they will send an RFE, atleast you got in line 😉

i know they said they wanted single sided printing
Do they say that ? For the petition and the main documents i did keep then single side per page. But for evidence/proof many of then are double sided for example cc statements or mortgage deed etc, otherwise it would have been a 15lbs package.
Edit: after posting, i did i search on USCIS site, i guess even for supporting documents they prefer single sided prints

that's a huge one. mine just came to 3.5 lbs.
I think more than half was all the bank and credit card statements. But they want it right from marriage, so it was literally almost 3/4 years. the fact that American Express sends like 10 page statements for each month doesn’t help either.

Finally posted my package today 🤠
came at a whopping 7lbs 6 oz at USPS.
what a load off the chest literally, now the dreaded waiting game 🤔

I have seen people get RFE for it also so I went ahead and submit mine also it is not a required document in the I-751 but it’s really good just to send it
Good point, better to just send it anyway, i dont want the stress and delay of a RFE. I just attached it too, thanks!

Hey fellow filers, my file is almost ready, and I just realized some People send marriage certificate also, I also saw somebody got a RFE in one of these threads for the marriage certificate.
do we have to send it too in the package ??
i think it doesn’t make sense because when we did AOS, they took a certified copy of marriage certificate ? So sending it makes redundant.
so just want to make sure do I send it or not ?

Hi all i am also planning to file in June 2020, my window opens on June 14 sunday, so i will send package on June 15 ideally.
Almost all the package is ready, just a few more documents here and there and validation is left.
Can anybody of you confirm what is the form number if i want to pay by credit card.
Best of luck everybody

Thank you all for replying.
just to clarify I do have almost all documents ready, if I wait it would ONLY be for the birth certificate. Like somebody pointed out, Birth certificate might also take some time so I think it’s wise to just send the package. plus considering how long ROC is taking these days my N400 1 year later can have the birth certificate.
I guess I would send the package in mail on 15 June (89th day) because technically ROC window starts on 14 June Sunday (90th day) and it would reach them by 80 something days from CGC expiry.
Thanks !

Hello All,
I am back to this forum after 2 years of burying my head into the sand like an Ostrich 👀 because i did not want to deal with the stress of thinking about USCIS after getting Conditional GC in 2018, even if it was avoiding for just for 2 years. These couple of years have flown by and the time has come to start the ROC journey
The earliest I can apply for ROC is 15 June 2020 and the good news is that we are expecting our first child by June end or July first week.
Initially i decided that I would just apply nevertheless and just attach baby ultrasounds etc, and at the time of N400 send the birth certificate, but after reading the forum the general idea i got was Birth certificate of child 👼🏼 seems to be one of the strongest 💪🏼 documents in the ROC package to show genuineness of the relationship
So the question is this, do I wait because its worth it or do i just apply first day of ROC eligibility date because every day counts with USCIS 😵
Would love if you guys and gals can chime in with what you think is the best way.
Stay Safe
🤠

My answer pertains to when you Adjust status in the US. As you pointed out embassy rules might be different and might depend on the country.

Hi there! Yes. I went to the infopass appointment and the officer told me they were waiting to schedule our case for a second interview. Its been a week now and nothing yet from them. Keeping fingers crossed that the interview letter will come sooner than later. Soo over this!
oh wow. Sorry to hear that they are still in the process. I thought your interview went well (although you never know with USCIS), maybe they saw a red flag after the interview and just want to be sure and need a clarification. Your frustration is totally justified.
Wishing you all the best. Do keep us updated.

Just as I have almost finished preparing everything for my combo card extension/renewal, I got an update that my interview is now scheduled for the 7th of March 2018. Just to play it safe, as my card expires on the 15th of May 2018, I'm still going to send it off. I'm just wondering where to send it off to? I applied for my combo card with my AOS to Chicago and someone has told me to send it there, but I am reading different places which has confused me. I had my biometrics done last year in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, the state where I live if that's any help. I'm assuming that's where the interview will take place as well?
Also, if anyone can confirm I have answered these questions right:
i765;
page 2,
Q.18 'Status at Last Entry' - I have put down 'K1 Adjustment of Status.' Is that right? I came back from abroad using my combo card in September.
Q.19 'Current Immigration Status' - Again I have put down 'K1 Adjustment of Status' Is that also right?
I have read somewhere that the combo card gets automatically extended after sending it off and if you don't get the extension/renewal by the time your current card expires it automatically extends for 180 days? Does that apply to us being under the category 'C9?'
@sebastianshaw you mentioned that it automatically gets extended? So I should be still good if I send it off this week despite it expires on 15th of May 2018? Cause isn't there like a 90-120 day processing time normally?
Thanks again, everyone!
I applied 120 days before expiry on my card. (180 days before is the limit) I think you are taking the right decision by applying for renewal because these days it is pretty common for USCIS to sit on your file without a final decision for even 2-4 months after interview

I have never had one, but from what i have read, just keep it crisp and to the point and even if the answers are weird don't show any irritation.
Most officers are very understanding and you can tell them your concerns and they will try to tell you to he best to their knowledge. I am not sure how much more information is available to them compared to the typical customer service officer on the phone. I would compare them more to the Tier II officers on phone who have the ability to see your file a little more but not fully like an IO who took your interview.
Some people say it didn't help at all, some say something moved after the meeting. Its just a mixed back like everything at USCIS unfortunately
Most importantly you are covering your bases and just completing the process, because god forbid if your case is still stuck, you can show that you have tried everything under the sun, from calls to infopass and uscis is still not transparent.
