Just stopped by to wish everyone good luck. I filed I751 back in October of 2016 and it was approved September 2017. The struggle is real lol so hang on there, everything will be fine. Take it easy and my thoughts to you is enjoy life as you are waiting, time will pass by.

Typical troll who finds it laughable on people's suffering and depression. May god have mercy on your soul, just keep doing what you are doing right now, I'm pretty sure KARMA will reach you and your family soon.

No, it’s not the public charge rule. It’s a soft inquiry to confirm your identity and eligibility to work in the US prompted by your e-verify sign up.

The “public charge” rule is NOT in effect and has never been in effect.

According to USCIS, msc  refers to Missouri and will most likely require an interview. Saw some other forums chains where everyone at msc was required to go.

Any thoughts? Below quoted from USCIS site in 2012:

The NBC was founded in 2001 in Lee's Summit, Missouri and was originally called the Missouri Service Center (which is why receipt notices from the NBC will begin with the letters “MSC”). The NBC's primary mission is to prepare applications for adjudication that require an interview at a USCIS Field Office.

A driver's license is not required so non-issue.

If you are sending as evidence to show you share the same address, then it's just another piece of evidence. I sent two that were no longer valid to show both of us at a previous address. Those licenses weren't compliant with anything or current.

Even if so, most countries do not require their citizens to file returns. Hopefully that won’t be an rfe

Which is why I wonder how likely these changes are to go through/how important these little details are. Will having a bad credit card score only be a tiny factor instead of a horrible one?

They take so long with the rules already, how many years would it take to get through one spousal application where there are foreign tax transcripts and details involved. Translations? Laws? would they have to hire a lot more people who are specialized in each country?

does not sound feasible at all

I do not think they truly believe the arguments they are making. I personally think that in their point of view - immigrants are a drain on the USA and the less that come over the better and that to achieve that goal they are willing to go along with anything that will ultimately end up with fewer immigrants coming to the states. I have been on this forum for so many years and over time I noticed that these same usual suspects have been fans of anything and everything to get "TOUGH" on immigration.

I was on board (did not love but could understand) the changes until it started asking for foreign tax transcripts and credit scores.

Even if nothing changes, it gives an elite impression.
like you’re applying for some deluxe credit card... don’t have a high score? Or make beacoup bucks? You need not apply.

the sponsors signed the affidavit, they should be responsible for their actions.  But enough of my griping.

True, enforcing the law, take those pennies back from the sponsor. It stuns me that lots of people here think the new law has nothing to do with race, discrimation,... It likes saying Stephen Miller loves immigrants.

Swell then go enforce those contracts. Do not change the rules because you are scared to sue the sponsors. It seems to me the supporters of these changes are of the attitude that I got mine so lets close the door now.

"DHS recognizes that not everyone has a credit report in the United States. The absence of an established U.S. credit history would not necessarily be a negative factor when evaluating public charge in the totality of the circumstances. Absent a U.S. credit report or score, USCIS may give positive weight to an alien who can show little to no debt and a history of paying bills timely. An alien may provide evidence of regular and timely payment of bills, and limited balances on credit cards and loans."
