  1. Good luck. Hopefully, NVC will schedule them together soon.
  2. Does not matter. I would do it now.
  3. Do it now...before the interviews are scheduled. Otherwise, they could schedule them on different days.......email NVC and email the consulate.
  4. They are completely separate cases. I would Immediately contact NVC and the consulate and request they be interviewed together.
  5. A K-1 is a non-immigrant visa. No invoice number
  6. In theory, you can keep a case alive by contacting NVC at least once a year. However, 6 years is a long time.
  7. I uploaded a request letter for combo interview in the additional evidence area of wife's USCIS N-400 document.
  8. ***Moved to Working and Traveling during US Immigration***
  9. On what date did she enter the US with the spousal visa? If it has been less than a year, she can enter the US using her passport (with the endorsed visa). Otherwise, she might have to get a boarding foil at the embassy.
  10. Then you should receive an 10 year Green card automatically. You can mention it to the CBP officer if you want, but USCIS (not CBP) determines 2 year vs 10 cards. If USCIS mistakenly sends the wrong card, you can file an I-90 to correct their error. There is no 2nd interview after arriving via a spousal visa. However, they might ask a few questions. Nothing to worry about at all.
  11. USCIS - Immigrant Fee - USCIS Immigrant Fee You will need the registration number and the DOS case number. Both numbers are on the visa itself.
  12. 1. There is no applying for the Green card. Once you pay the online $220 fee to USCIS (usually paid before arriving in the US), the GC will be sent to your US address. 2. No, you can enter the US at any POE.
  13. For anyone else interested, I think @Loren Y still offers free marriage service in Las Vegas for Visa Journey members. Hopefully, he will clarify this here.
  14. No. They cannot. Medicare Part A is not "free" for anyone unless that person or his/her spouse has 40 quarters of work credit which prepaid for Part A. Medicaid varies from state to state.
  15. Looks like his priority date is current to file for adjustment of status. That is a popular option.
  16. How long will he be out of status? That will be the important question. If he is actually out of status for more than 6 months, he will incur a 3 year ban upon departure from the US.
  17. I would certainly prepare for a combo interview. I was notified only 2 days prior to wife's N-400 interview that I had to attend for a combo. Of course, I had already planned and asked for a combo interview, so I was ready. Good luck.
  18. No. Not needed. Wife filed under 5 year rule. This is everything we uploaded. Only tax transcripts for additional documents. 5 years Tax transcripts Proof of my 1st marriage Termination Proof of Wife's 1st Marriage Termination Wife's Green Card Our Marriage Certificate
  19. In addition, to maintain her legal status, she cannot remain outside the US for more than a year at a time (without a re-entry permit).
  20. How long were you married when she entered the US via the spousal visa? 1. Less than 2 years = 2 year conditional Green Card 2. 2 years or more = 10 Green Card If the answer is #1, then she MUST file for removal of condition in 2 years (can file no sooner than 90 days from that date) to get a 10 year card. No other way.
  21. The Naturalization process was the fastest and easiest part of the entire immigration process. Nice, isn't it?
