  1. Take a look at my profile. My wife is a native Taiwanese.
  2. From what status is your change...and to what status?
  3. ***Comment split to new topic. Zombie thread closed***
  4. Being retired Military didn't help me...LOL.
  5. $50 difference for I-130s filed online, too.
  6. Wife's Naturalization Certificate picture appears to have come from her 2019 (I-751) biometrics appointment.
  7. The Great state of Texas....Dallas is our local office.
  8. Not sure that the process is shorter, but filing online is easy and convenient. Just answer questions and upload documents. Receive receipt immediately. Wife was a citizen in slightly more than 5 months after filing.
  9. **Moved to the Asia: South regional forum***
  10. I'm not sure where you got that advice, but VJ history proves those notions to be wildly inaccurate. UK and France are not difficult consulates. Good luck. The K-1 immigration journey is quite a long trip to a Green Card. I would strongly suggest you get your advice from Visa Journey. We are all here to help.
  11. I don't see a problem with handwriting. Don't overthink, and don't let the "What if" mental gymnastics drive you crazy. I'm not sure I would have chosen a K-1, but best of luck on your journey.
  12. The US was always open to returning citizens and Green card holders.
  13. To clarify, you had a conditional Green Card, but never submitted an I-751 to remove condition. Is that correct?
  14. Makes me wonder who the "us" is? I don't think it includes me.
  15. Remember the fee has now increased to $750.00 (with biometrics).
  16. You have done all you can do at this stage. You just have to wait until approval.
  17. Yes. ***Moved to Adjustment of Status from K-1 & K-3 Visas forum***
  18. Yes. If an I-751 is pending, spouse should attend. The officer may or may not question both spouses.
  19. Here in Dallas, they wife's oath was about 6 weeks after interview. They gave her about 2 weeks' notice of oath date.
  20. My advice: File the N-400 . After waiting 40 months for my wife's I-751 to be processed, she filed her N-400. 4 months later, both the I-751 and N-400 were approved in our combo interview. I-751s are a low priority for USCIS.
  21. No, I am not getting a refund. I had to pay in extra to the IRS again this year......but I just adjusted the Federal tax withholding from my military pension which will let me avoid owing in the future.
