  1. Yes, Absolutely. Filing under the 5 year rule requires much less paperwork and evidence. My wife filed under 5 year rule...and we are still married.
  2. Just make sure the I-751 doesn't get to USCIS before the 90 day window opens.
  3. ***2 duplicate threads merged. Please do not post the same topic in multiple forums***
  4. Patience is a key for the entire immigration journey.
  5. Yes. Just explain it at the interview....if it even comes up for discussion.
  6. That is odd. A BC can be obtained in a matter of 2 or 3 days. Google birth certificate services.
  7. The key is what you WILL earn over the next 12 months....not what you earned last year. Suppose I earned $200,000 last year, but I lost my job last week? If I am now unemployed, my current annual income is $0. My tax transcript from last year would be irrelevant to my ability to support a new immigrant in the future.
  8. I think they will let you in. However, I think they are going to ask you to sign an I-407. Why not sign since you are evidently living outside the US?

  10. When you both snore or have restless nights, it can be a good option for some old couples....experience speaking here. It works for us.
  11. ***One comment containing abusive and inappropriate language removed*** WARNING- There will be zero tolerance for further such language toward another member!!!**** OP, repeated violations of the Terms of Service will warrant administrative action****
  12. I601 waiver and you'll need an authorized civil surgeon to conduct the exam.
  13. ***Moved to the Tourist Visa forum***
  14. You beat me to it...LOL....and you explained it better than I....
  15. Return tickets mean absolutely nothing. They are not strong ties to home country. Lying to US immigration officials is a serious matter. They already know about you. They might think you are just trying to bypass the K-1 process.
  16. So, now, she is trying for another tourist visa? Why would you think she will succeed this time?
  17. Bottom line, to me: @pama2024, with a 2 year HRR, that must be your first concern for her becoming a legal resident. My understanding is that she will have to either return home and wait out the HRR per her contract....or she will have to seek a waiver and no objection letter (which is not guaranteed). Seems that is a cumbersome, lengthy process. There are countless threads here on VJ discussing that subject. Either way, it's going to take some time.
  18. Another vote to meet outside the US.
  19. That page would normally indicate the number of days between submitting a B2 application and an appointment. "Closed" means they aren't taking applications. See this page: Global Visa Wait Times (state.gov)
  20. FWIW: U.S. Visas (state.gov)
