We have a personal check for $680.

That makes a lot of sense. Do you think it is neccesaary to include ENTIRE lease? (ours is about 25 pages) -- was thinking to just include first page with names, new address, and lease dates on?

I literally have no idea where I've declared that I am lazy or where you're drawing that conclusion from -- I am clearly just trying to determine what is necessary to include in my ROC.

It has been 5 months since we filed our AOS paperwork. Does anyone have ANY idea when I might expect to receive my GC/interview date/ANY kind of communication from USCIS?

Thank you so much! What a helpful answer. I'm sure absolutely nobody on this forum has gone through this and so you're right - this totally wasn't the appropriate place to ask such a question! There's just NO way anyone moving to the US would have wanted their USC partner to have the option of dual citizenship so I just have no idea why I felt like this site would be a great starting point to ask.

Approved y'all! Interview in San Antonio, passport stamped and greencard in production!

I think I am going to puke with nerves, we drive to San Antonio on Tuesday for AOS interview.

Anyone checking online to see what's up with their case status needn't bother - mine has not changed at all yet I got a letter inviting me to interview yesterday. Their entire system is so flawed!

Currently on day 89. Put in a service request on day 76. Just got told it was still processing blah blah. So sick of how much this process is dragged out. People entering on tourist visas get approved before K1s and I know I sound like a total brat but I don't think that's cool! We have already spent $1000
's and waited months doing everything the correct way and yet at times it feels like we are at the bottom of a pile. Surviving on only one income has been brutal for us.

He'll no doubt get his way and have planned it all. My fiance got fleeced for a green card, we haven't given the girl a second thought. It's annoying he is her 'sponsor' still, but now he has met someone he really loves and who really loves him (me), and we are taking things slowly to make sure we get it right.
Just learn your lesson and make more measured decisions in the future. Harming him - in spite of what a horrible person he is according to you - isn't going to add any value or happiness to your life. Two wrongs do not make a right, just hope karma gets him.
