Our biometrics appointment is for tomorrow (January 23rd). The case is with the Nebraska service center. 

They don’t make it this easy for you I’m afraid lol. 
1. Call USCIS and make them aware of the situation. If this agent feels your complaint is sufficient enough for e.g. an Infopass, they will ask you for your contact details. Then you’re told another agent from the USCIS Service Center im charge of you will call within 48-72 hrs. 
2. If the agent calls you back and also thinks your reason is sufficient, he‘ll schedule the Infopass appointment. 
3. Go get the stamp at the appointment and pray to God they don’t come up with another BS to refuse service.

They received my package on 09/12 then i received hard copy NOA1 on 09/21. Mine was from Lewisville TX

Ohh, thank you  Our receipt number starts with LIN so I wonder if that is the CA service center. (after googling it appears to be the Nebraska service center!)

Thats the thing... she wants to go through the process, but the way into the united states is kind of ridiculous.

Hi everyone! We just sent our package off on Saturday (9/7/19). Getting ready for the long wait  

It has been awhile now since I've dealt with the K-1 Visa, but I remember we waited to receive packet 3 from the embassy before we scheduled any appointments and what not. I'm not sure if you can schedule anything before you receive packet 3, so I hope someone else might also share their experience!  

Having a kid together only proves that 2 people had sex. Not that they have a bonafide relationship.

Well as someone whos going through this process LEGALLY. I get so upset reading your posts. Ive been waiting almost 1 year to move legally to the US (and other people wait even longer than that). Since my K1 petition ive been to the US 3 times and would have had the chance to just marry and adjust my status, BUT i didnt do it because i wanted to do it the right way and didnt want to break laws.
People like you make immigrating AND visiting the US so much harder, because the officers think "well another one thats just gonna stay here illegaly". 
I really really hope someone can report you and your family since you put your city, state and original country on here. 
 
You get upset and rude because people tell you, what youre doing is against the law and also not allowed on this vj forum, so childish honestly.
 

Not really because he has valid documents. He has a valid drivers license and the whole 9 so unless he commits a crime they have no reason to detain him at any moment. 

He can be detained and removed from the US at ANY minute.......

If his I-94 has expired, he is NOT here legally......

and that is why laws for Adjustment of status need to change, and who knows in trump world they just might, so I guess really good luck and hope he isn't picked up and put into deportation before that happens

There are terms of service which prohibit discussion of any process to illegally gain immigration benefits.  Overstaying a visitor visa is illegal.

it is those that think they are above everyone else that feel the need to break the rules to punish those who would use it for the right purpose...SMH
