We filed April 2019, did Biometrics in December. We did our interview yesterday, 7/13, and I received notice my spouse's greencard was approved today, 7/14.

One very odd thing was we received a rescheduled interview appointment from our field office in Cleveland a month ago (original was cancelled due to COVID), and the very next day the USCIS website said the interview was canceled. Someone else in one of the forums said they had a similar experience and just showed up for the scheduled interview, so we did, too.

This happened to my spouse as well. April interview was cancelled, and we got a letter a couple weeks ago from our local immigration office saying we're scheduled for a mid-July interview. The very next day the USCIS website said our new appointment was cancelled. We're going to follow your example and just show up for the latest scheduled interview, since this seems to be a pattern for several folks.

We filed early this March, but didn't get a biometrics appointment until Sept 27th. That unfortunately got lost in the mail, so we had to call USCIS to get a copy of the appointment letter, which we needed since the Cleveland service center does not take walk-ins. The USCIS rep said biometrics appointments are typically sent about 90 days after receipt of the I751, but some have been going out later. Give USCIS a call if you're worried about your biometrics appointment, they can update you better than the website can.

Not sure if it's in your area, but my spouse and I had zero issue at US Bank. They just needed his SS card and a photo ID, hopefully your expired passport will suffice.

Everyone of us deserve to get a FAIR shot at making ourselves and a partner happy and successful within a marriage.  Why on earth does everyone what to change the rule because YOU don't agree with something.  People's happiness comes in different shapes, sizes and colors.  Just because theirs doesn't match yours doesn't necessarily make it wrong.  The rules have nothing to do with it.  The age does not have anything to do with it.  Their sex has nothing to do with it.  Each of us should get the benefit of the doubt.  And why should one country be criticized for their process when that process works just fine for them.

There are many of us here that have 3, 4 10 or more years married to our Pinay wives.  Many of us had only 1 or 2 visits to get to know their partner.  For me, I talked to my wife for three years, 2-3 hours each day and visited her 2 times and our marriage is working just fine.  But, like any marriage, you have to work at it.  You have to be willing to give and take. Being married to a foreign person doesn't necessary make for an unsuccessful marriage.  It's the character of the individual's involved.  If someone is a jerk, they were always a jerk and not just because they married someone from a different country then theirs.

    Enough said.

Arrived Friday night. Go through the NOTHING TO DECLARE line... no issues.
We brought a laptop, two smart phones and four tabets... plus other electronics.
TSA is the biggest PIA if you are bringing them in carry-on as they all have to be removed and put single layer in the trays Unless you sign-up for pre-screen online they you do the express line and don't have to do that krap

From experience, and I've read many posts here indicating the same, some frontline SSA personnel do not seem overly burdened when it comes to intelligence.

Ok..so if you use vj's search you will see that this is discussed a lot...and it differs for K1 ppl to spousal vIsa adjusters... since they most likely already have their married name documented with immigration...
Anyhow...the discussion in this thread gives you the ins and outs... good luck

This topic is being discussed in another thread called "Travel Tax". Your questions will have been answered there.
The short answer is yes she may have to but check your ticket as most airlines are collecting the tax when you purchase your tickets.

Yep, Just another scam to get more money from US Citizens, Welcome to paying "Long Nose" prices.
Another kick in the teeth if you admit to drug use in Philippines then you will get a lifetime ban to USA, but in other countries you can admit to drug use and it's ok.
My main issue with St. Lukes is USCIS is that we have thousands of Illegal Aliens crossing into the USA from Mexico and they carry disease, poverty, crime into the USA and once they can make it into the USA then they are treated like royalty. They are given free medical, their kids get to go to school for free, they suck the welfare system dry by getting free food and financial and housing assistance.
To top it off, You walk into a place and the signs are in English and Spanish, Excuse Me I thought I lived in the USA.

The Republican party has sown division and hatred going back to the "Southern Strategy" that had its genesis with Johnson turning his back on the Dixiecrats with Civil rights legislation ( passed it should be noticed with brave leadership in the Republican party.
Since that time they have flirted with promoting policies and strategies that alienate people who are not white and not "normal". Culture wars, Voter registration restriction, gerrymandering were all designed suppress the "others". Now the "others" are exceeding 50 %.

I love it when people call actual scientific polls from reputable polling institutions biased. Then quote an online Drudge poll of 25,000 Drudge readers as somehow a legit alternative.
It's kind of like asking 25,000 PETA members online if they eat meat, and then conclude that "63% of Americans are now vegan."

I sent about an extra 20 pages for the embassy interview, on top of what I submitted with the original application. 2 pages of color pictures, a few pages of chats from the last week, a few more pages of chats from a few months after my most recent visit. I also sent a few receipts of money I sent.
My fiance literally just finished his interview and passed, if yours is prepared and confident she will breeze through. Good luck!
