Anh map got a reaction from Cathi in received letter for interview after RFE Should we worry?
You failed to understand the requirements. Nothing there about babies. You should submit evidence of lives lived together since . That would be financial comingling (things such as joint bank & credit accounts, rental agreements, utility bills etc.), mail addressed to the both of you, having each other as life insurance beneficiaries, drivers licenses / state ID's showing the same address, evidence of travel together, photos of the 2 of you with family and friends during holidays, social gatherings, etc.
Submit copies of all tax returns filed since marriage, joint bank account statements covering your time as a married couple. If you don't have a rental agreement with your parents then have your folks give you a signed statement that you two have lived there for xx years. Affidavits from friends really aren't good evidence. No one ever submits a bad one. These things don't have to be notarized, just signed.
Every couple is different. Collect what you do have and bring it to the interview. Not a big deal.

Proving that you are married is simple. Conceiving a child is simple. That won't get you the visa.
What you need to do is show a bona fide relationship from the time when you first became a couple until the present. That is what is needed to secure the visa.

People don't change much. And from what you have stated, this relationship is dysfunctional. I've seen that behavior both here in Vietnam and in the US. It's not exclusive to the Vietnamese, but the girls do seem to have raised it to an artform.
It's best to move on, or accept that you will continue to be treated in the same manner as the past few years. Breakups are no fun, but you sound miserable now. No need to give in to threats anymore. Split up, file for divorce and move on. It's painful, but survivable. Don't worry about immigration and don't sign another thing related to immigration.
    Best of luck.

I would say that given the current world political events that people coming from Pakistan will face more scrutiny which leads to longer processing times.
It's no fun to wait. Be patient. You could contact your US Senator's office. I believe that they cannot make an inquiry until a case is 90 days outside normal processing time.

Anh map got a reaction from Cheezees in Queston 18a on I-864 - Federal income tax returns - for US?
Correct. US taxes citizens and Green Card holders on worldwide income. There are tax treaties that prevent double taxation, but if you've earned more than $10K (US) you should be filing US tax returns. So if you are the petitioner then you should prepare returns for at least 2013, 2014, 2015.

Changing embassies often adds quite a bit of time. Your place in line isn't the same as it was in London. When they are ready for you they will send the pkg 3. We had a small ceremony (less then 10 people - all family) 4 weeks after I arrived in the US to fulfill the requirements of the visa, then we planned a big bash for the following July, where we had 150. This allowed plenty of planning time for the summer bash, and also made that event very stress free and fun - also it was a little warmer!
    Good Luck

It happens. This place is corrupt at all levels.
This was several years ago but I doubt a lot has changed. I passed through the exit check and was standing there waiting, my (then) fiancee got held up as he asked for her ID card, and then something else. She just raised her voice and asked why he needed these things. He stamped what needed to be stamped and sent her on her way. No coffee money.
The immigration guys are just preying on folks who are nervous and stressed. Don't give them a GD thing!!!

Just something to look into, your husband was likely below the threshold for having to pay taxes as there is a large exception for money earned overseas, but that does not mean he was exempt from filing taxes. The requirement to file taxes is an income of about 10K USD. You should check if your husband made more than that amount and assess your tax situation.
Also, be prepared to demonstrate that your husband has intent to reestablish domicile in the US.

You would want to report this to your state's department of revenue. You will need to supply them with some evidence of what you are claiming.
If you are unsure about it ask your spouse or a friend to help you.
Quit the job and move on. There are better employers out there..

Anh map got a reaction from TBoneTX in So confused with marriage license instructions in my situation??
A marriage license is the "permission" to get married. Consult your local city hall or county clerk office for what's required.
After you marry then you would file the petition to adjust status.
Yes, you will file an affidavit of support regardless of your income. If you do not meet the income requirements then a joint sponsor will be needed. That person can be any US citizen or green card holder. They must meet the income requirements for their household size plus your future spouse.
See the form I-864 instructions to help you understand the affidavit of support.
Read the Guides here on VJ to learn about the process and what is needed.

To run a credit check. Show up with a cashier's check and they won't want to run a credit check.
Car dealers get lied to more than immigration officers. They have their routine and 99 times out of 100 it fits the situation. The salespeople just want to earn their comission. The sales manager wants to hit their numbers. Credit checks are run on most buyers. It's their process. Paying in full is not the norm for most new car transactions. Give them a reason to break the routine and still meet their needs (pay cash) and they will do so.

Anh map got a reaction from S & P in I don't want spouse to get 10year GC.. options?
The I-864 is a contract binding you to repay any income based benefits that she may use. It has been rarely been successfully used in divorce court as a lever to gain support. And, if I recall correctly, it was only to make up an income shortfall to get the sponsored spouse up to the poverty line. If she's working, it's unlikely the 864 comes into play.
As far as the other aspects of your finances, that's not a part of immigration. Family court isn't going to enforce immigration law. And the immigration "threat" won't help you in family court. I'd bet on the judge not looking favorably on the course of action you've got planned.
If you do an online search you will find many results. She can proceed for the waiver without you. It may be difficult for her, but you will not be a party to any of the proceedings.
An amicable dissolution is always the best way. Hopefully you can work it out and go your separate ways.

I'd be very cautious as you move forward. The more time that you can spend face to face the more you will be able to get a sense of her true intentions. To a dispassionate outsider the story sounds like she is looking to go to the US and you are the opportunity.
Take it slow and realize that until she sorts out her marriage(s) there is no way that you can petition for her.
If she's been living and working in Japan for several years why can't she support herself? That should be a big question in your mind.
