My husbands stuff is at LIN. Seems the staff has all quit. I read somewhere there wasn't much movement there since October(ish) and it was once a "fast" office

I'm in the same boat. Not sure if it's good or not when the online status is not updated accordingly despite having received a biometrics waiver 😓

Hey everyone,  I received a biometric letter saying they will reuse my old biometric from USCIS, I was so surprised because my status on uscis website is still listed as case was received

Just saw on my informed delivery that I have mail from USCIS. My guess is that it’s the letter.

Sorry for late reply. I actually didn’t get mail. I got an email in my inbox saying action has been taken on case and checked my status and it said biometrics were reused. Never got a letter in the nail and I’ve been checking my informed delivery.

It's on your green card listed as USCIS number. You can also find it on your previous I-797 notices.

For I-9 verification, green card falls under List A documents. Just Google I-9 documents and you can access the official USCIS page to see documents that you can provide and an employer can ask for I-9 verification purposes.

And btw, my employer asked for my green card too for verification

Could mean a lot of things, you should fill out your time line. Did you do cr1 or k1? adjust status from a B2. If you did not have an interview you could be headed to MSC for an interview. Could have moved you to speed up your application. Let us know some background on you.

Hi December 2020 filers! I just checked my USPS Informed Delivery account and looks like I'll be receiving a USCIS envelope today. I'm with SRC so if you are too, keep your eyes peeled because they are starting to churn out letters for us. Will update once I know what letter I end up getting today.

KULtoATL got a reaction from Chocobo in Sending i-751 on Thursday - which carrier better
Every time that I had sent in my paperwork, I used FedEx and they have always delivered just fine, including when I sent my ROC package in December 2020. However, I noticed that FedEx has been generally unreliable in other instances ever since this pandemic started. Between FedEx and UPS, UPS seems a bit more reliable for now. And frankly, every time there's a delay now, regardless or carrier, they all use COVID as an excuse.

I hope your package arrives just fine and in time 🤞

So far only a handful of EAC filers received biometrics letters or re-application of previous biometrics.

As long as you're downloading the form from https://www.uscis.gov/i-485 and it is the edition date that's accepted, you're good.

The date you mentioned is the edition date of the currently accepted form version.

@peanutismint Sorry for the wrong information. That was never my intention. I sure hope you don't need to get a new medical of any sorts given how exorbitant CS try to charge around here. Good luck with your AOS interview next month 🙌

Until her company has fully changed their business name, I'd say go with the current business name.

As for work address, it would be the local address not headquarters unless she is at the headquarters location.

Date of employment, when not 100% sure, I usually use the 1st day for start date and the last day of the month as the end date. Whilst I may not know the exact day sometimes, I still know the month in general. Best way to find the dates? Old paystubs, employment agreement signed, online employee portal if an employer uses one, maybe even old resume/CV where one may have listed the employment duration for a past job etc.

Dunno about Uber so can't comment on that.

The names that are listed on her government issued IDs should be listed as her legal name. If her new name was never formalized, she can still opt to list it as other name used.
