Put your expiration date in this calculator and it will tell you your earliest accepted filing date:

I don't have an answer for you, but you mentioned not seeing a contact form. After the last website update, the contact forms are here:
    NIV https://vn.usembassy.gov/visas/nonimmigrant-visas/non-immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/
    IV https://vn.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/

I used the IV form before my wife's interview and got a response back in a few days.

My wife's visa also has a separate IV Expiration (different visa, CR-1), but she entered before that date as well.

As an aside, did they happen to issue your fiancee's visa with the correct name order? I'm trying to gather documentation on how many times they screw this up in HCMC because of the hassle it causes. If they screwed it up, I highly recommend trying to get it fixed before she leaves for the US. For my wife, fixing it in Vietnam would have meant another 24 hours on a bus, finding another temporary place to stay, etc. So we left it alone. Now we are feeling the pain. Her social security card came with the wrong name order and so did her green card. We're still waiting for USCIS to process her I-90 to fix it. In HCMC, they work with Vietnamese names for a living and this still happens all the time according to our local social security and USCIS offices.

If you send your I-129f before meeting your fiancée in person, it will be denied. You must meet all the requirements at the time of filing, otherwise it will be denied.
Meeting after filing will not fix this, either.

OP was more than 1 day early. Knowing that 90 days is not the same thing as 3 months, and how to calculate it, is part of the solution.

It's not difficult to engineer the situation to ensure that your packet arrives at USCIS within the required window.

No, you have 90 days to marry. There is no time limit to file for adjustment of status; but there are good reasons to do it quickly.
A deadline from the school/church is entirely separate and has nothing to do with your immigration process.

I checked again, and it's listed among the documents that need notarization, apostille, and legalization. All US side stuff.
The process here was entertaining as well. I'm pretty sure that was this doctor's first mental health check for foreign marriage purposes. And it seemed like the first mobile notary to come in the office too.

If your fiance can't stay in the US long enough to adjust status then K1 is not a good route for you, yet.
But if you have made plans for a wedding in the US, you can still do that. Your fiance could come on VWP for that, right? I don't think foreign military changes VWP eligibility, but I don't know that for sure.
But if switching to a UK wedding is an option for you, great.
Just keep your domicile requirements in mind from this point on. If you end up filing from abroad, you can save yourself some hassle by becoming familiar with those requirements now.

Those links have information about what's coming next. DS-261 is the form to choose an agent, the person to receive communication from NVC. That will be first. DS-260 is the online visa application form. That will be after you pay your fees.

    Hi everyone
Wife went to Cho Ray Hospital and being told by official that now they will only send medical packages by mail. Even those who live in Saigon.
Picking up package is no longer allowed.

B and H got a reaction from ~Alessa~ in Where in US print out picture passport style photo?
I've encountered this problem, too. Especially at Walgreens. My wife also doesn't have a way to get 2x2 prints for our process. What I ended up doing was getting the photographer in Vietnam to send me the original, uncropped, high-resolution file. On the computer I scaled the file so that when printed as a 2x3 (wallet size), I could cut it down to 2x2 with her face in the middle at the correct size. It's tedious, but I expect to see this problem not just at Walgreens but at most places (in the US) that offer passport photos.
