Did you put the NOA2 approval in for the child's case also? It has to be there for both of them. 

My husband's oath ceremony is scheduled for July 29 at 7:45 am. It will be a great way to start the morning that day.

Oath Ceremony scheduled - August 4th! Much earlier than I was expecting, but we'll see if it holds with the furloughs.

Today is 9 days til my interview and I’m starting to be more worried that they will close down because of the rising cases. It sucks! 

I know I’m trying really hard as I just want this to be over for all of us.

Hey everyone, my wife had her interview today in Montgomery, AL. It took about 25 minutes, and she was approved.
 
Just for a quick recap, she went in (max of 15 mins before scheduled time due to Covid), and then was called back almost exactly at her interview time. On her way back, the IO asked "Does your husband still have his man-bun" - so I guess he'd been looking at our file, ha! (update: I don't).
 
Once back in the office, he immediately did the oath, and then asked her 5 questions, which she all got right. He then told her one more and she'd be good to go, and asked her 4 questions that were not on the practice test (i.e. what year did AL become a state, first gov of AL, etc.). Then when she did not know any of those 4, he said "Well, last one..." and then asked her a real question - which she got right - and then laughed with her a bit on the other questions he asked. Was she amused? 50/50 haha.
 
After the writing/reading test, he moved on to the N-400 and asked some questions related to that, sprinkled in with some more amusing questions that were clearly not test related (i.e. If it was Canada vs. US in the Olympics, who would you want to win).
 
Then he finalized some things, told her she was approved and that was that! He did mention that the Oath ceremony might be delayed a bit due to the upcoming potential USCIS furlough, but based on the case updates so far (no appointment letter posted yet) it's looking like that'll be in mid-late-August.

Yes you have to find the one that is in your district and then go to their webpage and you can get their help that way.

My husband and I attended his combo I-751/N400 interview this afternoon in Salt Lake City. The officer was an incredibly kind woman and the first thing she did was comment about how our daughter. 
 
She then asked us questions for the I-751 green card approval: 
Both: How did we meet?  To me: What year were we married?  To my husband: How did we deal with the 2 1/2 years we lived apart going through immigration?  Both of us: What are some conflicts we’ve had in our marriage?  Me: What was it like meeting my husband’s parents for the first time?  She then administered the citizenship test to my husband: 
 When is the last day to file federal taxes? She joked about during a normal year.  What is Martin Luther King, Jr. known for?  What is one right of a US citizen?  When was the Constitution written?  What happened on September 11, 2001?  Why does the US flag have 13 stripes?  Sentence he had to read: What state has the most people? 
Write: California has the most people. 
 
She asked the questions in section 12. Asked for our daughter’s birth certificate. And said she was approving both. She said he will probably have his oath ceremony the last week of July. 
 
We are so excited and relieved to be almost done with this nearly 6-year journey.

My online account updated that my case is approved and that my only next step is the ceremony but it updated estimated completion date to October 2020 :((((

I live in KC too! I have my interview by the end of July. I hope I can make it to the August ceremony!!

We can't answer if you should go or not that's up to you. but I will say it's kind of silly if you ONLY want to move do to the processing times. If it's because you want to move there then I get it. But it's not like you get first in line when you move there.

That could very well happen if you don't live in MO. Fingers crossed! 

I was hoping to do it today and have two surprises in one but a little more waiting won't hurt

So I finished my interview 8 AM exactly and here is how it went down. Kansas City MO
 
1. Welcome and follow me to the room
2. Oath that I will be saying the truth
3. Biometrics and a picture with webcam
4. Went right into the test
Civic: Date of independence - How many years senators serve - name one person who wrote federalist papers - where's statue of liberty - who's the chief of military - how many senators in the senate
 
I got all of them right so we went into the reading and writing
It was where is the white house? For reading
The white house is in Washington D.C. for the writing
 
After passing she confirmed all of my info on my form (address, job, date of birth and phone number)
 
The questions from the last section of the form (terrorist organization, military organization, communism part etc...) All my answers were no of course.
 
Then she said congratulations I am recommending your approval and keep an eye on the ceremony letter.
 
It was a painless 30 minutes and the officer was the absolute best. She didn't ask me about my marriage at all (I am applying based on 3 year marriage) and she didn't to ask to see any documents apart from my id and green card
 
My status online changed to that I am in line for a ceremony and to basically wait.
