Nobody said a word about gun laws. This article is more about the programs that Chicago has in place to offer opportunities to youth. Not sure why that's a bad thing, it seems to be having positive results so far.
But hey, might as well close 'em down because it's still cold outside and the real murderers will come out when the weather warms up, so what's the point?
Anti-gang initiatives are a good thing and should be encouraged.

Hey, you were the one who wanted to know where I was from so you could lecture me about the segregation of the city. Too bad you didn't follow through.

I hardly need educating on the reality of racism, Spooky. I am here to enforce the TOS, of which you seem to have forgotten.
Report them and we will deal with it. Otherwise, don't complain about something of which we are unaware.

    Because they're hypocrites.
If you support the 2nd amendment, you're golden. If you want some kind of gun control but DON'T want to take everyone's guns away ... then suddenly you're a fascist who shouldn't be in this country anyway.
Some apparently live in a world where only their opinion is valuable and should be voiced.

It befuddles the mind the notion that a young beautiful woman would not want to spend the rest of her days in the company of such a paragon of civility, congeniality and unbridled respect for women.

I agree with some of the comments. However I feel he does need to speak his own language with his country men. It will help to reduce his feeling of isolation and homesickness.
When I came to America, having contact with people from my homeland would have helped me so much but that didn't happen. The lack of that increased my loneliness.
Learning English is important... Joining an English class and speaking English as much as possible is important... However speaking his language is important too. Perhaps you can have 'Spanish' days at home and 'English' days.
    Good luck!

There is no need to yell.
Actually a passport is not a visa. A Canadian does not automatically receive a stamp each time they cross the border and it is not stamped when you go back. I have 2 stamps on my old 5 year passport and one of those is for Mexico. But yet I went to Hawaii twice, Las Vegas twice and Denver once. I currently only have one stamp on my current passport but have been to Colorado 3 times since it was issued. I have never received a stamp on the way back. Being able to travel freely between each country acts like a vistor visa and is a bit on the honor system. It's a right both citizens have. Canadian's still need a work visa and a student visa to study in the USA, we are required to get visas on occasion, including extended stay.
Any person can go into the US and get married. If she intended to go into the USA to live, that is fraud. However you married her so thus also contributed to her fraud. She can't file a petition on her own. You have to do it. You didn't.
Some people cannot get away from their parents. It is what it is.
Look into a divorce lawyer, talk to an immigration lawyer, and find out your answers. I hope you find happiness again.

Thank you for your reply. I spoke to a lawyer who mentioned that if this SSN belonged to a USC, the IRS would have notified him as 2 people cannot file 2 tax returns the same year and not be spotted. He said that if anything we would have to file a "waiver" for fraud, but that would not be an issue. I was also told that we should put that he HAS been working, even though it has been unauthorized (since it will be forgiven), but in the forms, where they ask for a SSN, to put "none" because apparently we should only put a legal SSN here. What do you think about this? We would not lie about him working, simply omit that he used a SSN, and to only provide copies of filed taxes of 2012 (which we will file next week) but making sure only his ITIN number appears and not the SSN. He said USCIS can NOT obtain information from IRS, so they only would have what we provide and we can be smart about what we do provide.

Yes, I am sure Canadians wouldn't take him back because he made a gun control video for a comedy website.

Someone obviously gave him permission to have access to Charlton Heston. If he was not in the right mind to do so, one of his agents or publicists should never have allowed it to happen. I don't see what the "ambush" is about. I, too, would be pretty curious as to why Charlton Heston decided that right after Columbine, an NRA rally in Colorado would be a good thing to do.
