Big congrats to JBoogie876! Must be a great feeling to get the approval on the spot and get the oath ceremony done on the same day.

I share your pain. Yours was originally March 2020? Unfortunately we are part of a backlog of 30,000 cases in the Manhattan office. It's an appalling situation .
Yup, Originally March 2020, went down to Feb 2020 after the Biometrics and here we are at May 2020 now

I went to check on the Estimated case completion time after seeing the latest replys and mine went up 2 months to May 2020 💀

I would just re-file the N-400.
You were denied on the basis of eligibility, a hearing via N-336 will net you the same outcome as your initial interview.

If you have overdraft protection on your account.. you might just be overdrafted and charged the fee according to your bank..
I would have saved a little more.before starting the process. 😳
I got NOA 1 a few days after i mailed. offical NOA 1 was oct. 3rd. And i mailed it within 4 days priod to that.
They wouldnt reject. I believe if payment fails, they would just mail it back. Then you just send it back in with payment.. (they dont look at it until you get paid). But id have someone verify this.
In most cases since this is a check, it will bounce + fees charged rather than overdrafting the checking account.

You are not considered a overstay while the AOS is adjudicating, I don't see why you wouldn't file now along with AP and EAD.

A RFE for a new medical after the interview was enough time for my marriage to go past 2 years and was issued a 10 year GC.
I consider it as a blessing in disguise.

Obtaining a Driver's abstract from your states DMV and bringing it to the interview will suffice for simple traffic citations but a court deposition is recommended if you have something more serious like aggravated unlicensed operation or reckless driving.
Congrats on completing your journey!

I received a notification for the Biometrics appointment this morning. Going to be attempting a walk-in since I had no issues doing this for AoS.

Hey guys,
I just submitted my N-400 a few minutes ago online after delaying it for almost a month.
Glad to be on board and godspeed to us all!

Seeing these types of threads popping up gives me some hope as my local field office is showing 10~12 months of processing time.

I need to hurry up and hop on the Jan 2019 filing wagon, just waiting for my next paycheck to get the N400 filing fees together 🤐

You will be just fine, go ahead and apply

Try to find a landlord willing to put both your names on the lease while using your USC fiance's SSN to run credit checks etc.
most Real estate management companies that rent out properties will require SSN for everyone wishing to put their name on the lease so try to avoid those..you will just be wasting your application fees.
search your local craigslist listings for lax/small time landlords.
Good luck!

White House officials hinting that there will be additional screening measures for all immigrants traveling to the U.S. in the coming days including disclosing Internet/social media activity and an investigation of your cell phone and other communication devices and handing over your contacts. expect another executive action regarding this issue soon.

You will be okay OP.
Good luck!

You'll need the "full" version of the Family relations document that you can obtain at your city hall or district office.
I would STRONGLY suggest you have the document translated and notarized to avoid further issues down the line with USCIS. IIRC the document is all in Korean so I would think that a translation is required.
