  2. USCIS has 120 days from the interview to make a decision. Before that you can't do anything. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-b-chapter-4
  3. Just so you know, you have to satisfy all eligibility requirements for citizenship up until your Oath. Once you apply for N400 doesn't mean that all the eligibility requirements have been met and don't needed to be adhered any more.
  4. It is better to be here if it not a big deal/emergency and get your citizenship rather than complicate matters.
  5. It is fine to give your own address. Once you move (I guess you will be moving in the same city/metro area), you can file AR-11 online here https://www.uscis.gov/ar-11 which will update your new address in your application (You will have to specify your USCIS receipt number while doing AR-11) and then you will start receiving mails to your new address. Also, if you apply online, most mails sent to you regarding your application are available as soft copy (e-copy) in your online USCIS account and you will see those even before you get it in physical mail

  7. Ok, so since you have hired your lawyer, you should be asking him/her to take care of it then.... What's then the purpose of having a lawyer!
  8. Was there a specific requirement for u to file on paper. Why didn't you file online. You could have avoided all this delay!
  9. I am 29 I think.. lol.... Current trend is getting interview letter a few days before your 1 year anniversary of application and actual interview date just at about 12.5 months. So we should expect some notification within next 2-3 weeks. Check maxis27 & segaivd's timeline in the tracker above!
  10. Also this - https://www.city-journal.org/html/mogadishu-minnesota-15924.html Since a significant number of Somalis from Minneapolis were found to have fought for the ISIS and also involved in a massive public benefits fraud, I think the security checks might be taking time....
  11. Simple google search gave an answer - https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2011/01/19/good-question-why-did-somalis-locate-here/
  12. Minneapolis area has a high number of immigrants/refugees from Somalia who could be applying and this could be the reason...
