jg121783 got a reaction from TBoneTX in Nancy Pelosi's January 6th Select Committee Hoax
Very little attention being paid to the abysmal conditions January 6th detainees are being held under. Held in solitary confinement for long periods of time. Beaten by guards. Essentially being tortured until they renounce their support for Trump. Not granted bail or given a trial date for what is in most cases misdemeanor charges. Being held in unsanitary and unsafe facilities. All under a corrupt deputy warden who is a left wing activist and admitted Trump hater. These people are political prisoners. Nothing more. But if you are a leftist who burns down cities you are free to go and even encouraged by leftist politicians.

Are we talking about the most popular presidential candidate in US history here? He broke records in the last election. He should run again.

The committee literally has no constitutional authority. It is not a legislative committee and did not follow the rules for forming a legislative committee. It is the legislative branch trying to assert judicial powers.

jg121783 got a reaction from LIBrty4all in Derek Chauvin found guilty on all counts in the murder of George Floyd
Whether he was guilty or not I was pretty disgusted by how the left (including prominent people) intimidated and threatened the jury. Kind of like the Rittenhouse case. Why does the left have to be constantly trying to subvert our justice system?

Decades of out of control drinking tends to do that to you.

Germany essentially said "hold my beer" with their recent announcement that come February the unvaccinated will be imprisoned.

No I simply pay attention to drugs the FDA recalls. The tv ads are a byproduct of those recalls.

Although true, with a brand new experimental vaccine, I would error toward the vaccine being the biggest cause until it can be proven otherwise. Instead we get political posturing and labeling of those that may put more stock into these potential links as anti-vaxxx, a scourge to society, and generally irresponsible. Of course as usual, these politics seems to be coming from one side, the Big Top fascist Party.

jg121783 got a reaction from TBoneTX in 5 Biggest Takeaways From The Latest Review Of Wisconsin’s Rigged 2020 Election
All of Wisconsin besides those two cities is basically red. In an honest election it would be close on many issues but I would say overall conservatives have a slight edge.

Might be better to listen to what the defense attorney who Maven referenced has to say. Perhaps Maven should do the same. Then if Maven believes Mr. Pattis is incorrect in his assessment of the case we can have a discussion about that.

Given their track record of approving drugs that kill people that later have to be recalled and all the late night attorney tv ads for people who have been injured from said drugs my trust level for the FDA isn't very high. I would rather see the data myself instead of being told by known liars what it says.

jg121783 got a reaction from TBoneTX in FDA Says It Now Needs 75 Years to Fully Release Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Data
Even if there is a legitimate reason (which I am highly skeptical of) to withhold the data for 75 years is it unreasonable for people to want to see the data before they can make an informed decision on whether or not to take the shot? Or are we supposed to just blindly trust what we are told and accept a mandated medical procedure that we can't even see the data for?

I have actually heard Norm in interviews about Jones' cases. He seemed pretty adamant that the judges in the two cases we are talking about acted inappropriately and that he was shocked that they acted in such a manner. He noted as you did that a default judgement under thess circumstances is almost unheard of. He also stated that everything that Jones was asked for (and then some) was turned over and never once said or implied that Jones was a "difficult" client or was in any way uncooperative. He also noted that the plaintiffs refused to sit for depositions when Jones sat for every deposition they asked for. Perhaps your assessment of the situation isn't correct. Perhaps Jones' attorney mischaracterized the situation or perhaps I am missing something here.
Now it couldn't be possible that the judge has a bias against the defendant right? That never happens. It's always the fault of the defendant.
