Instead of having to return a corrected AOS to NVC and wait another 60 days, you can just hand it in at the interview!!!
Not sure what your particular issue is, but it must be so minor that NVC doesn't need to deal with it. When you turn in your documents at the Embassy/Consulate, the Officer will look at the new AOS to make sure it is correct. It should not delay you at all!

It is 90 days before the expiry date on your conditional green card, or as soon as possible after obtaining a divorce (if done before the window opens). I've been trying to get the info for you about self-help hours at the various courthouses in LA but the LA Superior Court website is acting up today. Suffice to say that Santa Monica Courthouse keeps regular hours where volunteers can talk you through the divorce process; not sure about the other courthouses. I think it's in Room 210, if I recall correctly, and I believe the hours are in the morning 9-12. There might be some afternoon hours too.

Hi, I'm not a K-1 filer so I'm not aware of all the ins and outs. I feel you are being rather aggressive by telling me to use "common sense". It is not common sense to people who are not clued up on who processes what with regards to K-1 Visas.

Once we have received our visa I will be more than happy to give you my receipt number. As of right now, since we are so close to the finish line, I don't want anything to jeopardize that. Our interview is in 2 weeks.

UPDATE: My wife was approved this morning! She was the first in line and was in and out in about 30 minutes. There was no problem with this issue.

I have a congressman in the US assisting me with investigating the discrepancies between the Texas and California Service Centers, and he is requesting evidentiary proof that there is a substantial discrepancy in processing times. All he needs are 3 to 5 NOAA-1 and 2 dates, including your Receipt numbers from those who have their NOAA 1 and 2 from both the Texas and California Centers. For example: If you have recently received your NOAA-2 from the California Center, he will need your Receipt number, date of NOAA-1 and date of NOAA-2. The same goes for 3-5 people who were processed through the Texas Service Center.
This will allow him to dig deeper into the issue, since tax payers and voters from his state seem to be pushed aside during this process and he is not happy.
Please private message me with your NOAA 1 & 2 dates, as well as your receipt numbers. No personal information can be obtained from your receipt number, so there should be no privacy concerns.
I will post again on here when I have enough evidence to pass along to him.

yah, all the people with VWP and tourist should just AOS inside US, instead of waiting outside especially those with TSC.

He should've got the passport handed back separately with the Visa in it. Don't open the sealed envelope with the warning on.
