Shauna&Wael reacted to Transborderwife in How can I report the fraud To NVC And USCIS(merged)
Others have said the same. If this is indeed true, when the petitioner tries to re enter using their greencard it would be discovered that way unless they have a re entry permit.

Shauna&Wael reacted to usmsbow in Just got off the phone with immigration officer... What do you think about this?
Yes, half (or more) of the USCIS people don't know what they're talking about.
The only following up I would do with the I-129f is to contact the consulate and tell them you would like to withdraw the petition since they're the ones that should have it now.
Did you ever get a letter from NVC with your case # on it?

Shauna&Wael reacted to Darnell in Help, Got injured at work and they wont help me.
i suggest getting an attorney, a good shark type, as they LOVE this type of problem !! you've a computer with internet access, use the google, google search terms:
work injury lawyer <<your city>>
and see who pops up. then use a telephone, call around the rest of the day, see who can take the case. For this type of case, the attorney will not ask you for monies, the fees they collect from the company and not you.
Nice idea, really, but is best done
by an attorney.
Trust me, 3 phone calls from an attorney gets things moving along and quickly !
you can easily get stuff for medical insurance at healthcare.gov - check it out when you have time, soon, next, now.

Shauna&Wael reacted to MouadsWife in Is he cheating?
A tablet can have a number IF it has an embedded wireless card inside. Meaning you can get internet on it everywhere you go, even if you not near a hot spot. The best thing for you to do to answer your questions is to call the phone company and simply ask why there is a third number on your phone bill. They will be happy to answer your questions and you will not have to be nervous about asking your husband and then you will KNOW you are getting the truth.

I just finished my US Citizenship Interview and was approved. I am waiting for my ceremony date. Thanks everyone who helped guide us during the entire immigration process. From our K-1, AOS, ROC, and now US Citizenship. We are glad that we are done with immigration and that this is my last process. Thanks everyone for all your help. I will continue to visit the website often to try to payback by helping others by sharing our experience.

Considering what you posted here, do you really believe if you ask him about the number he will tell you if he is cheating ...no way, no how. He will give you excuses and more excuses, by the way in my opinion a man that does not get along with his family (mother/father/siblings)is a ####### man, just saying.

It makes me really happy to hear that you're taking charge of your life. It's like taking off a Band-Aid dear, it stings at first, but underneath is a wound that's healed. You'll be just fine. As everyone has mentioned, you're clearly a catch, and he's clearly not. If he really loved you, he would be so motivated to give you the best life possible together. But he wants you to do all the hard work. I'm sure you'll be able to visit the U.S. when the time is right. Focus on your budding career, it will distract you in a good way. Keep ascending

Ava, is that your name? Don't be sad because what we're all making you realize now is a blessing. Trust me, you don't want to realize this stuff once you're already here and kinda trapped. The fact that he only wants you (it sounds like to be his trophy wife) is very concerning. He wants you to play home while he goes and plays. I'm not saying he would cheat on you, but I do not think he's mature enough for marriage at this point and has some growing up to do. Maybe you can put this all on hold in a way? Tell him you refuse to come until he gets a job. Then you'll REALLY see his true colors.

Why are you wasting any of your time with someone like that? He certainly needs to prove a lot in order to deserve you. In the entire time it took to get the visa, and then the additional 5 months after you received the visa, he STILL doesn't have a job. I wouldn't trust this person to be motivated enough to find a job in 3 months if he couldn't even do it in the time span mentioned earlier. Do not waste any more time with this person, stay in France.

Have you told this story to any of your close friends? Do any of them see any positives? Does anyone encourage you to go right away because he sounds like the type of guy they would want to have? What advice would you give to a friend that tells you this exact story about themself?
You cannot "fix" him. He MIGHT change a few behaviors to encourage you to support him and allow him to continue on his current pathetic path. Your traveling to the US would only prolong his childish behavior, and becoming parents dooms your child to this unhealthy lifestyle. This story screams stay away!!
It seems that this boy has found an enabler (you). If you can't cut the cord now, imagine how difficult it would be after he sucks your money dry and fills your world full of excuses as to why he "can't do..."
If you wouldn't date him in his current circumstances if he lived in France, why would you consider marrying him in the US. Falling in love is wonderful and fills us with great hopes and dreams. A healthy relationship nutures those dreams. You do not have a healthy relationship with this person.
The responsibility for your happiness rests with you. If you give someone else that power, you are to blame.

As others have said, he's too immature and lazy to be a good husband. And he told you the process made him "stop loving you". Really?!! Apology or not, his true colors are shining through. If I were you, I'd stay right where I am. Good luck!

I'm sorry you got this far in the process...I would definitely end the relationship. You have a lot of good things going for you in France. He seems a bit "young" and isn't taking this serious like you are. I wish you the best of luck.

Immigration is a privilege. It isn't nor has it ever been a right. Whether one agrees with it is immaterial.
It's not that complicated.

Shauna&Wael reacted to CB & FM in Change in "date created" on CEAC after interview
You should also have noticed that it changed from Immigrant to nonimmigrant. This is typical for K1 visa because we are a nonimmigrant visa being handled by immigrant visa section. You should get two more status updates, one "administrative process" when they are working on your visa to issue it and one "issued" when your visa has been issued. After that it is a matter iof how you receuve your passport with visa and sealed documents. Here in Brazil we got each of those status updates on consecutive days, Fri, Mon, Tues, then the visa was sent to visa application service center from which we received an email and then a call on the next Fri to come that day to pickup the package.

So sorry Jan2211 and MariaAndeas for both of your denials and I hope things work out for you all soon starting over.
Denying over a misunderstanding of a new medical versus vaccs and denying over a copy of a certified divorce decree is just crazy.
Why can't they just issue a second RFE and clarify what they want. This is just ridiculous.
I have seen such vague RFE's come through lately where people are scratching their heads on what the heck they want, including my own RFE
and it's time for USCIS to change the existing policy of their la di da RFE's that look like they have been issued by 12 year olds.
Make it clear and understandable for Pete's sake ! $1070 and a one year wait ought to give us a little fairness. Add to that the
incapable misinformation line and different answers from different 'representatives' and IO's and it makes for one hell of a messy soup.
Sorry but this really pisses me off that people have to jump these hoops.

Shauna&Wael reacted to Villanelle in Thoughts on my current hardship letter for my wife's ban please!
Well I agree with the advice to seek out assistance from a qualified lawyer and the other website. If you browse around you can tell that here not too many waivers get posted with the request of how do I fix this up- where over there its quite common.
Some points to keep in mind- writing something like this takes a lot of work (which it seems you know already) You are going to go through many drafts and many revisions so hang in there. Take breaks and recoup and refocus. The more examples you read the more you will get an idea of what your final draft should look like.
Some of the users here are harsh. But thats the nature of it. View it more as a devils advocate then a personal attack. Technically one can argue there is no excuse and any argument you make can be countered. Its almost like a debate. You need to present your side with as much evidence and sway as you can keeping in mind any possible rebuttal that the other side can have. You know full well there is a rebuttal to everything but you kind of ignore it and insist that your argument is the one true way and correct. Your letter lacks confidence, it has elements of doubt- which makes it weak.

Shauna&Wael reacted to canadian_wife in Thoughts on my current hardship letter for my wife's ban please!
Your post sounds like whining because it is too emotional. A lawyer takes out the emotion and focuses on the facts. These are YOUR words
"I owe my life to her"
"Until God decides to take him away"
"It would be cruel to leave him behind"
"I fear every time they leave the house"
"It was a time of desperation for her"
Further, your letter is contradictory. How can you take care of your grandfather if you need multiple surgeries? How can you fly to Peru many times if you have financial hardships? How can you need your wife's income if she will be unemployed when she arrives in the US? No one can guarantee you a future, not in the US nor in Peru - especially with so much technology outsourcing to India and China a junior programmer position may be difficult.
While your emotional statements may be true to YOU, the CO will find them exactly that, emotional statements of what you believe to be true. A lawyer can design your packet with the facts because they are more detached from the situation.
Good luck

Shauna&Wael reacted to Anh map in Thoughts on my current hardship letter for my wife's ban please!
Take a look at it from the dispassionate adjudicator's position.
- You are in dire financial straits yet you've been to Peru countless (your words) times. That sounds like bad money management on your part.
- And you also make it sound like you need your wife there as not only an income earner but also a home health aide. That does not sound like a loving relationship. That sounds like an exploitive relationship. The USCIS officials are there to make sure that both the USC petitioner and the foreign national do not get taken advantage of. Reread your letter out loud and see how it sounds.
- Everything you say may be true, but your letter sounds like whining. And the tone will permeate the entire document, evidence included.
Wanting to start your own business - not a hardship. It's a choice and choices have consequences.
Peruvian income is low - so are many many places in the world. Not a hardship. You do not have to go there. Or you could prepare yourself to earn a better living in Peru. [ I live in Vietnam which has an extremely low average income. I got myself the qualification to teach English as a foreign language and am able to earn much more than the average hard working native. - So you have options.]
Peruvian unemployment - how is this a hardship for you? You are not limited to working in Peru. Programmers / IT professionals are in demand everywhere. English is the international business language, so you are at an advantage.
Crime rate - high crime rates everywhere in the world. There are likely some very safe / low crime areas of Peru. She/you could move if it is unsafe. Not a hardship.
Air pollution - move to a less polluted area.
Grandfather & Mom - you are overplaying it. We all have challenges in our families. Your wife isn't the cure for these problems.
Your health - There are many qualified, licensed care providers living in the US at the moment. Sounds like you want one for free.
Future family - A choice, not a requirement for any couple. Not a hardship. People live outside of America in poor, dirty countries and have great lives.
********* Consult an EXPERIENCED, QUALIFIED attorney. It will be money well spent. They will guide you as to how your request should be formulated.
Best of luck to you both.
