I totally I agree with you, am from UK to, London girl, I miss home sooooo badly, everything you are saying is true. 
One thing I can say is hang in there, and complete the citizenships, am in the process of finishing my, I have my oath ceremony on the 8. Wait and get your citizenship and than you guys can move. 
we are waiting to see what will happen with the UK now, than we will be moving back.

I was crying when I was reading your post, as I have been feeling the same way, I have been hear since March, no job, nothing. Have made lots of applications, attended lots of interviews. Still nothing. I think is because we are just at home and not working. Back in UK I have a good job working with TFL (transport for London) now am at home, no work, nothing.
I feel like going back to UK. But also I think about my other half, how he will feel if he also move to UK and doesn't have a job and he feels bad because he is the head of the family and should be providing for us.

I don't know why it only the usa that visa process is a long journey. may Jehovah give all of us the strength to endure, and make our marriage even stranger. am in the process of putting my document together to apply in the UK. can I please asked, has it not pass the 180 days they normally give, am sorry to say but your country and their paperwork, is a disgrace and shame, how they tend to play with people life's and do what they like. hang in the beautiful, no matter what, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, it may seem hard to get to it, we just have to keep working towards it and we will find a positive side of things. stay bless beauty.

that is the problem am contemplation now, i move from Amsterdam(holland) to UK years a go and i was fine, free movement etc. but now thinking of moving to USA, is so scary. i really understand how you feel, because in UK you can go for a walk, take a bus etc. please try and find something to occupy yoursef. talk more with hubby and let him, maybe you can come home for some holiday.
