Do you live here as well?

I live down the street from the embassy.

I live in Brooklyn NY, my husband live in a city 🌃 next to La Capital. But I will assist to my husband interview. I was in the consulate 5 times in my life. I went to the first place where the consulate was in 2005 for my own interview. In February of 2012  for the K-1 of my ex-husband and it was denied. In October of 2012 for the CR-1 of my ex-husband and it was aproved. Then in 2014 the consulate was already in the new location and I was there in October 2014 for the IR-2 of my ex-husband kids. And my last experience in the consulate was in July of 2018 when I walk with my child to renew his US passport because I left him in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 for 6 months and his passport was about to expire.

On the same boat. I got CC on May 20 still waiting for IL.

This past two weeks of not receiving IL have been rough on me. I've been doing extra hours at work trying to forget about it, and then I come home and have 2 pounds of chocolate every night. lol I need this to be over.

I have so many things I want to plan, but I can't do any of it until my husband is here. :(

I wonder if people applying for tourist visas in DR this summer has been affecting available interviews??

Me too I have so many plans but I can do anything until I know my interview date. In May I see they assigned june’s interview on May 9, 17 and 22 according to the spreadsheet. I was guessing they do interview on last week but it doesn’t happen. I’m praying and almost sure they will assign interviews in this coming week. Believe me I’m stressful too. I got already 1 year and 1 month in this process. I never imagine this process will be so long for me.

IGot it, but I see ur CC date is 5/31

It is and is not. I have 3 cases in the NVC. 2 cases with CC May 17 and 1 case with CC May 31. But when it comes for purpose of interview I will be scheduled based on my CC of May 17 and then they will assign the same day interview for my husband case that was cc on May 31. That is what NVC explained to me.

Some late April and early May folks who were active on this forum are suddenly silent. I suspect that they have all received their ILs

That’s not true. I’m not from Mumbai but I’m May 17 cc waiting for IL in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 but I guess my embassy is not scheduling yet because I see some one with cc of May 3 and she don’t have heard anything from embassy yet, same as many other Dominicans filers that got cc in May. Some people who are cc from another countries we remain silence just waiting patiently for our IL to comes.

FINALLY‼️ Documentarily Qualified I submitted on May 20, just waiting for a interview from Dom. Republic 🎉🎉🎉

can someone tell me how long Dominican Republic embassy takes to give an interview??

Hey! I’m from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 too. I apply for my husband and his kids. I got a CC on May 17 and since that day I don’t have any news about interview. I see some people from DOminican get interview letter within 10 to 15 days after CC but this is not my case.

good afternoon someone can help me and I have the date of the appointment of the consulate, how do I request an appointment at the clinic Abreu in the Dominican Republic?

You have to walk in. At lease a week before your appointment date. Beneficiary have to bring interview letter, passport, 2 passport pictures and address & phone number of where they intend to live in USA.

  7. Good morning. Just got a CC for my hubby an hour ago.

    I have 3 cases. CR-1, CR-2 & CR-2. Dominican Republic.

CR-2 CC date was May 17.

CR-2 CC date was may 17 too.

CR-1 cc date is today May 31.

My hubby was in supervisor review. He reached the 3 weeks mark on Tuesday may 28. I call NVC Wednesday 29 and they put him under review. And today at 8:17 am New York time we have CC. I got the 2 emails with Documentarily Qualified. Documents were submitted for a third time on May 7.

My husband lives four hours away from santo domingo. we're from santiago so I do not want to send him to get the medical and the fingerprinting on a separate day. Do you think if he does the fingerprinting and the medical exam on the same day, 10 days before the interview that the consulado will get the medical results on time?? thanks

Of course. Schedule your fingerprints for afternoon and do the medicals the same day in the morning. He will stay all day in the city then.

remember some people have different days to get review and different weeks to get review.so try to remember our 2-3 weeks mark and if 3 weeks and a day pass call NVC.

remember to keep that in mind every one submitted or resubmitted  different days and weeks.

I just hang up with NVC. Last week I was told that my 3 weeks mark will be today because I have to add and extra day cause of holiday. I just call and ask about if I already have updates of interview for my steps? And what’s new about hubby review? They said that they will start to schedule July interviews soon. And for hubby the nice guy told me that my case is one day overdue and as soon we finish the call he will mark my case and transfer to a supervisor.

Not sure if this question is specific to Dominican Republic..

How soon can the fingerprinting be done prior to interview? And how soon prior to the interview can the medical exam be done?

I was reading that the medical exam should be done about 3 weeks prior to the interview. Can the fingerprinting be done the same day so three weeks before as well?

I’m from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and I’m petitioning my husband and stepchildren. The medicals have to be done at least 1 week before interview. The fingerprints must have to be done 10 days before interview but this appointment you have to schedule yourself through ustraveldocs.com in this page you have to create an account with the visa applicant information. It will ask for a date of birth, full name, passport info, etc. Once you have your interview date and your visa category you have to select your category in that page and it will open the visa fingerprints open dates and times and you will pick one as your convenience. Also, in that page will ask you to select a place you want to pick up your passsport and visa package. Is a place in Santiago, san Cristóbal and many places in Distrito Nacional because is the main city.

we only filed for me so I wont know how that work. but I will tag someone who filed for 3 people like yours @jenifferrecio426   @John & Rose can any of you hell her out please?

Each case is distinct and separate. For civil documents, is for each beneficiary. In the affidavit part the same information that you provide for one case, is the same for the 3. Because you only paid one AoS fee but even though affidavit form, transcripts and proofs of domicilie needs to be upload in each case under that category
