    I don’t know anybody process in NYC because once you filed and send your petition to Chicago they send it to where they considered, can be routed to Texas, California, Vermont, Potomac, national center of benefit or either Nebraska. I130 are procesed only in this service centers. I see some people from Nyc filing in Nebraska and Texas from April that already are approved.

    No. They make a mistake in beneficiary last name and When I figure it out I call USCIS and then they fix it on the 28 of june and again my status change on july 6 but saying the same thing. I guess some one open my case again on july 6 but I keep asking my self why?

    ok thanks. I was asking because this was twice but in the first change I receive email and in my app tracker was showing yesterday morning 8 days from your last updated and then in the afternoon was saying status change today and when I checked was saying name was updated

    Hey, quick question. what about if on june 28 my status change from case received to name was updated ( typografical error that I send the review request on june 13 and they fixed on june 28) and yesterday afternoon my status change again to a name was updated. I dont receive any text or email alert, the alert for the change I have it from my app tracker.

    During this step, the USCIS begins the background check of the applicant / person making the request and identifies the issues that need to be addressed, either during the interview or by asking the applicant / person making the request for additional documentation or information. The USCIS reviews the criminal record of the petitioner / petitioner, determines if there are concerns related to national security that should be addressed, and reviews the request / request for fraud indicators. If you have filed a Form I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive a citation notice to appear at a Center of Request Support to have their fingerprints and / or photographs taken.     Typographical error issue!

    I filed I-130 for husband with priority date of may 25, 2018. I receive my Noa1 in the mail about jun 8 but I call USCIS because in husband's last name they put an (o) instead an (a). June 13 I call for make the correction. June 20 was assigned to an officer. And today June 28 I receive an email from USCIS, this email says that the error was fixed. That email was at 4:56 pm today and about 6 or 7 minutes later I receive another email saying that case is in initial review. I'm confused because the second email say that is in initial review but a change in name was made. Anybody experience this? I'm in Texas Service Center

    Sorry to said that for you but this is not true. I make my own translations and I went to the notary and they check If is everything is fine with my documents and then the notary sealed and signed. I been doing that many times for friends and for me. 6 years ago i bring my first husband and two stepdaughters. Now I just file for my new husband and steps. I help a lot of my friends with translations Spanish to English and USCIS never reject the papers

    Hi I send my application with the overnight delivery on Friday, May 25. I just got the NOA1 today the notice is dated may 31 but my priority date is MAY 25. Filed to Chicago because i'm in new York. My application is been processed in TEXAS SERVICE CENTER. I was looking at their processing times and they take between 7.5 to 9 months. I always hear bad comments about this office. It seems that this is going to be a long waiting.

    Perfect example of not being on time . My K- visa was approved on August 24,2015 . My fiance is still waiting for his passport . There are some people that recieve their passports within days of their approval and there are others like myself that have to wait a little longer . :ranting: Just figure we have been through the worst part and we were approved now just have to wait to see when the embassy will mail the passport to the designated mailbox we chose.

    Sorry about It i have This issue with My husband in 2012 passport take about more than two weeks and it was cause i went in Person to de domex office in Santo domingo to pick It Up cause they told Its Going to be one more week for delivery

    ok. the passport may or may not be ready by that day. I don't think you should plan according to that as anything can happen with this visa process. It can come earlier than expected and certainly it may be ready much later. I am not saying you wont receive it by that day, all I am saying be extra careful with your plans so that you save yourself a headache especially if you are planning to head back to the USA with relatives who will be receiving visas. Hopefully everything turns out good.

    Like NikkiG just posted, NO DOMEX. You must create a profile through ustraveldocs to choose a Mailbox pick location. Once visa is approved, they will send passport to selected location in about 8 days. if you havent, you must do it asap as you need to schedule an appointment at the VAC at 360 gallery. This appointment should be about 10 days before you interview.

    Ok, Thank u. I Make My profile already in the page and i take a place next to My house in My original place. But i wanna Make sure if is in this place Where a will get My papers Plus Im having problems with My boss cause he dont want to give me the days that Im Asking. Interview is the 30 and Im Asking for be off since the 29 until October 9. I think i should have the passport around This time

    Anybody Please help me!!! Anyone here Who have already recent interview in Santo domingo Consulate? I want to know how long its take to have the passport Back with the visa stamp after the interview, cause i having problems with My boss to give me permision, he says that is not true that can take a week or two. My boss Only wants To give me 1 day before interview to fly and My two days off. Any advise?
