I'm not sure I can claim the same moving to Wisconsin! but at least winter are a "dry cold"  and the sun shines longer and more than in England, I hate the dull / dark days

well if we had a decent climate we probably wouldn't! I don't know why we put up with it.......... ho, wait, a lot of us are planning on moving away from it...
I did read somewhere that we use it as a "neutral" conversation starter

John, Thanks for updating us on this, I am sure they will find a way to slow down again if they get a chance, it is one worry less though

I was just going to type something on the same lines, the waiting should prove the strength of our relationships, I know that doesn't help much when you are thousands of miles apart. I only get to see Colleen in person every five or six months for 10 to 14 days although Skype is a big help, the way we handle the separation is to imagine I am away on military service, those families are separated for months at a time. For us this has been an on going situation for a few years, I should have moved to the USA a few years ago but complications here in England  delayed that so it was the 15th September 17 when we could file the paper work.......... right at the time when the wait is at it's worst!  at least we know there is a wait, I do feel sorry for the May people who thought 60 to 90 days was going to see them authorized.
The only bit of advice I can give to people  is share your problems with us here, we are all in the same situation....... so don't let worried and fears build up, we can't change things,  but we can listen.

it sounds as if you subscribe to the "Big Brother" theory! I  am sure they are all to busy at the USCIS to be watching us.......
that's odd, why is my PC suddenly working slowly ....... probably nothing

I can only agree with many others when I say a big thank you to yourself, Sheogum, The squirrel and Naes (whom has the same NOA1 as ourselves in Sep) for the hard work you are doing getting this information to us, it is great news that the service centre has increased the numbers they are working on, I am sure I don't have to say it was a very big worry when the NOA2 dates were slipping back every day. again a very big thank you for giving us all hope that something is happening!

Hi everyone, Just an update on my last visit at the end of October 2017,  We have a I-129f application at the CSC and I was worried about visiting but there were no problems at immigration, I had a new passport and a new ESTA so had to join a line to see a CBP official, he only asked me how long I was staying while doing my finger prints, I replied "just a week on vacation" I then made a comment about the new photo of me in the new passport looking older, his reply was it "happens to us all"   stamped the  passport and I was done in 2 minutes so I got the Hell out of there, fast!
if you have used your passport before to travel to the USA you can use the automated machines as I have in the past,  that way you don't have to talk to anyone (unless the machine rejects the passport).
Colleen and I are hoping that the CSC will have the paper work approved by March 2018 despite the back log, so this should be my last return trip.  Fingers crossed!
