My wife got her green card approved. She got a mail today saying it is approved. Even though she is outside the country now. But phew what a journey.

We got RFE Dec 2018. Even though I did not have a joint bank account. I sent what all I can. Affidavit. Power of Attorney etc..
 
They said she will get her card in 60 days.

After this trip she is not going any where.
 
If worse comes to worse get a good lawyer.

So that it will be easy for both of us, if we want to visit family here.
 
And with the situation in Ukraine, never know when war can start. So want to wait couple of years.

 


 
I lived in Kiev for couple of years. I had no problems.

Yes we have plans to move to Ukraine in couple of years.

She is outside the country visiting her mom, she travels three times a year
Every trip she stays minimum 2 to 3 months.

I would say go to US and deal with it there, because you are not divorced legally she cannot do anything at this point.

There is no reason to feel ashamed. Believe me she cannot do anything, once you enter US, you can change address of where to receive SSN and other things.

I been calling since 4 weeks same answer always.
I called today and they said, supervisor requested my file, and the supervisor is waiting for my file so she can review o.OOOO
For goodness sake, make the process automated, people send files, send it through a scanner, and digitize it, why the hell are they following prehistoric ways of doing things.

Affairs start like this, an innocent car ride with a male of other sex, and if the girl is beautiful, the male will try his best to act innocent to gain friendship.
