I was able to reschedule interview from 4/20 to 3/2! Our interview is now THIS Tuesday!

JUST TALKED TO MARIA!

Just saw this post and needed to add my two cents:
The whole "out of wedlock" remark was totally unnecessary seeing as how even if she was married that still would not be a reason for an expedite. There's a big difference between being blunt and then throwing shade to be a jerk.
From personal experience, for anyone who comes to this post inquiring if they will be expedited due to pregnancy I will agree and say, no. I attempted two expedite requests thinking I met the criteria, and also contacted my congressman and was advised that although it appeared I did meet the requirements that because of my pregnancy there would be no reason for an expedite. In short, my son was born healthy, I am healthy and the six months went by very fast for me. The NOA2 was a great relief when I did receive it without any RFEs and in a few weeks when my family Is complete this whole journey will be a lovely story to share with our son and the other children we plan on having.
The original question was very valid as it was what stumbled me across his great website in the very beginning and I'm grateful for that because you really get a feel of community from those who file in the same month as you or those who have beneficiaries in the same country. The bitter folks make these forums a drag and make me wonder why anyone would want to marry them in the first place, I guess desperation.

I went to my interview k1 alone on march 18, my fiance couldnt come and he sent a letter and all was ok.
I am in ap for a diferent thing of that.
And a friend of mine went alone too, his interview was on november 2014 and he was approved.
All we need is show that the relationship is real.
In both cases fiances are pure america, i mean no latin, when fiance are latin they have more suspicious of fraud.

I have called numerous times to confirm parts of the process, and had my Fiance confirm everything with Medical Office in the Dominican Republic.
THIS THREAD SHOULD BE USED FOR POST NOA2 and when NVC says READY - there are a thousand threads about filing for K1 from the beginning.
Begin by filling out your DS-160, it will need to be completed before going to the US Travel Docs website. IP Addresses are logged, be wary of filling it out in the USA. Use Join.me or Remote Desktop to help your Fiance if she has a computer you can connect to.
Log in to the US Travel Docs website and fill out everything until you come to a point where you need to pay the fees.
Some people have had the option to pay the fees with a Credit Card. Others, like me, have been presented ONLY with an option to pay Banco Popular, in Dominican Pesos. Your Fiance must print this copy and go to Banco Popular to pay in person. At Banco Popular, she will receive a receipt with an account number to enter later. You MUST wait until 11AM (Dominican Time) the NEXT BUSINESS DAY until the website recognizes the account number. IN MY CASE, the website automatically updated with the account number and allowed me to schedule the Interview and VAC days. IF it does NOT UPDATE, or accept your account number - re-print the receipt and look at the amount owed. If it is ANYTHING other than $0.00, your payment has NOT been processed. You can call 1 (703) 988-3410 to schedule an appointment over the phone. From experience, they only schedule appointments and know little else. OK - you have paid and now are ready to schedule your consular visit (where you must attend) and OFC visit (where your Fiance must get her fingerprints) done.
Consular Visit - This is where YOU must be with her for the interview, you will be presented with this option FIRST. For me, there were dates as close as 2 weeks, and as far as 6 weeks to schedule the interview. OFC Appointment - This is where you schedule your Fiance for the fingerprinting. It will give you options within 30 days of your interview up to one day prior. After scheduling, you will be presented with an option to email, print or view your schedule. I'd suggest emailing it to your Fiance, yourself AS WELL AS viewing the page and printing a copy to PDF for later use. The PDF will be better formatted and friendlier on the eyes than the emails are.
This printout can be used to schedule the medical appointment. On the phone my fiance was told 2-3 weeks prior is a good time to go for the medical exam, in case of any delays with paperwork.
You can view the many threads on whatever documents you need to go to the Medical, Interview and VAC appointments.

You dont pay with the ds-160 confirmation page.
You pay with the confirmation page of ultraveldocs.com
Now you need create a profil on ultraveldocs.com then print the cobfirmation page and go to banco popular and come back to ultraveldocs.com to finish the process and get appoiment do it for vca and consulate.

Omar ... first step is do the ds160, create online profile and print visa fee payment slip and take to banco popular and pay the money....after 24 to 48 hrs depending the time the payment was made you will be able to go back onto the dashboard on your profile and schedule your consulate appt first and then vac appt (two separate calendars) once that is complete you print out appt confirmation page and go get medical.

You make it sound like transfers happen often. It happened once in 2014 (in August for April/May TSC filers).
Perhaps they should make it a more frequent thing though...

...look at it this way, $40K is a very cheap price to pay to find out the woman you wanted to spend the rest of your life with is not the woman for you. If you both were really in love distance and communication barriers would not be an issue because you would make it work. You can't assume that being physically together would change all of that, because if a minor obstacle such as distance already has caused a change of heart than the relationship may not be strong as you once thought.
In my opinion, "closure" is overrated.

My case was received by NVC eight days after I received the approval email, so by Friday they should have yours. Then it's off to the embassy!

Good point! It's hard being happy knowing others who filed with you have not heard anything yet...

Update! Finally got through to NVC after only eight call attempts (called around 5:30P EST) then after waiting for 50 minutes I spoke with a representative and he advised me that my case has been sent to the embassy TODAY via DHL. He provided me with the new case number so I will call next week and get information regarding the interview date. It's incredible, after the NOA2 things start moving very fast!

Yesterday I received my NOA2 in the mail! I noticed that it also includes my fiance's Alien Registration Number in the "beneficiary section" which I wasn't made aware of before so I thought that was pretty cool...
Congratulations to all of the new approvals!

Great news... At 8:15 pm tonight eastern time.... I got about ten text mssg in a row that said noa2!! Approved!!
I was a June 12th noa1 date!!!!
I'm so happy cuz it's two weeks till my baby is due at least end of tunnel has a light!!
I have not been able to check case online for over a month or by automated phone for about a week.
I have never called to speak to someone since the summer because they didn't seem too helpful.
I DID send that email that was suggested a few days ago and got an auto response.
Not sure if those are clues but I feel really grateful!!! Good luck everyone the approvals are happening!

Received an email last night that my case was sent to the Department of State for Visa Processing. I wonder if I call next week would that be enough time to check if they've received it...
