AOS interview
Dashinka replied to yothisisandrea's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Often they do biometrics at any location, but to the best of my knowledge, the Detroit office has jurisdiction over all of Michigan. My friend's niece lived in Escanaba when her spouse was adjusting status and they had to go to Detroit. Luckily they had family in the area, so a place to stay for a night. As to canceling the interview and then approving, I have not heard of that happening, but I suppose anything is possible with USCIS. Good Luck! -
If you have the IRS transcripts, use those, consulates generally like those better. I would not worry about W2's/1099's and copies of the returns as the transcripts have all the required information. Also, you only need the most recent tax year's filings, but it is good to have the previous two years (total of 3 years) with you in case they ask for more. Also, it is a good idea to have your father fill out an I864A as a household member as oftentimes consulates ask for this when one spouse is sponsoring or co-sponsoring an immigrant and they file taxes jointly. Beyond that, the I864 is only looking for financial evidence, so the list you have with the suggestions I made should be enough. So to be clear, you will have your own I864 showing zero income, your mother will fill out her own I864 with her financial/tax evidence, and your father will fill out an I864A. Good Luck!

You as the USC will need to complete an I864 affidavit of support, and since you are not currently domiciled in the US, you need to find a qualifying joint sponsor that will fill out a separate I864. A qualifying joint sponsor is anyone domiciled in the US and is either a USC or an LPR. Congrats on the I130 approval. Good Luck!

You should probably list them as there is an I134 out there that says you agree to support them, but if you don’t actually provide any financial support to them, then you can put $0 in the last box. Good Luck!

Hmm. So is Bill just looking for a way they pull him from the campaign trail, or is he not really behind our current border tsar? Bill Clinton says Laken Riley's murder would NOT have happened if migrant suspect had been 'vetted properly' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13959239/Bill-Clinton-Laken-Riley-murder-kamala-harris.html

Reading the State Dept. reciprocity schedule for Nicaragua, it does not appear they will accept any other alternative. Good Luck! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Nicaragua.html -
Daily Update on Kamala Tanking America
Dashinka replied to Boiler's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Seems to be typical. I really doubt the MSM will give this story any time or exposure. Kamala Harris accused of plagiarizing her first book 'Smart on Crime' in bombshell report https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13958939/kamala-harris-accused-plagiarism-smart-crime-book.html -
Not nearly the same as proposing a DPRK style laws as stated by leaders in the Democrat Party elite you are a big supporter of, but keep trying. It is amazing how you claim (through the stories you find in the leftist media) people that support Trump are mindless uneducated deplorable, and yet buy into the Democrat/establishment narratives they love to gaslight us with.

The November visa bulletin is showing 22Oct15 as a final action date for all countries other than Mexico and the Philippines. https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Bulletins/visabulletin_November2024.pdf

Another example of petulant leftists/Democrats. “No Kidding! No Joke!” Liberals Call on Biden to Commit Unconstitutional Acts in his Final Days The list includes emptying death row, canceling all student and medical debt, halting weapons shipments to Israel, ending the death penalty, declaring the Equal Rights Amendment a constitutional amendment, and granting clemency to nonviolent drug offenders. Other pundits have pushed Biden and Democrats to take some of the actions on Moore’s list before the end of the administration. Many of these items could only be fulfilled by knowingly gutting the Constitution and assuming the powers of a monarch. That includes just canceling all student and medical debt in defiance of both the courts and Congress. As discussed in my most recent column, others have added to that bucket list. Take Olbermann who, while insisting that he is fighting to “save democracy,” has called upon Biden to target political opponents like Elon Musk with deportation: “If we can’t do that by conventional means, President Biden, you have presidential immunity. Get Elon Musk the F out of our country and do it now.” https://jonathanturley.org/2024/10/13/no-kidding-no-joke-liberals-call-on-biden-to-commit-unconstitutional-acts-in-his-final-days-as-president/

Democrats are famous for doing just that. Absolutely no compassion or tolerance for anyone that strays from their views. I detest the policies of the likes of Hillary, Obama, Biden, KK, but I would never wish them personal ill. It seems like the Democrats have become like the Church of Scientology, if you leave, or stop believing in their mantra, you become a non-person available for personal attack.

I agree, there is not really a question there. When my wife filed her I751, we were in a similar boat, we did not open a joint bank account, instead, my wife opened her own account and we put each other as co-owners of the two separate accounts. We also did wills and living wills for each other beyond the other joint items like life insurance, and 401k beneficiary documents. Are you saying you have absolutely no comingled finances/benefits?

It all really depends on your priorities. If this person is the one, foster that relationship, and I realize that an LDR is difficult particularly with the specter of navigating immigration concerns, it can be very rewarding in the end. I am not suggesting you take one path or the other as I certainly do not know the whole story from a few sentences on a VJ post, you need to look at your specifics and decide the path yourself. Good Luck!

Do I need multiple I-134 for sponsors?
Dashinka replied to BootLoxes's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Generally current income is key, and as long as your tax history is good you should be fine. Good Luck! -
Do I need multiple I-134 for sponsors?
Dashinka replied to BootLoxes's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
If you meet the standard for the I1864P for sponsoring an I129F I would not bother with getting another one. If you are close to the income threshold, then have your parents fill out a separate I134 with the required evidence, and your fiancé can take it to the interview in case it is asked for. Good Luck!
