  1. Your spouse's I864 household size would be 4 (one for Item 1, one for Item 2, and two for Item 7). This assumes both parents are adding their incomes for your spouse's I864 (note, both parents should each fill out a separate I864A if they file taxes jointly). You do not have to include the dependent children unless they are also filling out their own I864A's and adding their income to your spouse's I864. You can also have one parent fill out an I864 as a joint sponsor and the other parent fill out an I864A if they file taxes jointly. Good Luck!
  2. Completely agree about SS, not yet sure about LG as we currently have an LG TV and it has been fine for the past three years unlike the SS, I had before that. This being said, my wife and I just bought a new fridge, and we steered clear of SS, LG and Hisense (even though this brand, from China, was quite cheap). We bought a Whirlpool, and so far are quite happy with it except for a drip from the water dispenser that lasts 5-10 minutes after use. We have a new solenoid valve coming, so we shall see how that goes. As to newer appliances lasting as long at old one, we are currently in that situation. The fridge replaced by the one mentioned above was nearly 20 years old, and is still working fine (we gave it to my niece and nephew), we just wanted a new one. We also recently replaced our dishwasher that was over.30 years old (due to a main seal leak) with a Whirlpool, so time will tell.
  3. Not to worry, Starmer will take care of everything. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/uk-france-and-ukraine-will-present-peace-deal-to-trump-british-prime-minister-says/vi-AA1A6kmM?ocid=BingNewsVerp
  4. There is a bit of nuance here. In general, the expired GC is not surrendered until the oath ceremony, so after the N400 is submitted, and after the interview (except for those that have the oath the same day as the interview), the applicant should not be required to surrender their expired GC, and they can travel with it and a valid extension letter. If an IO takes the expired GC prior to the oath ceremony, then they should provide, or the applicant should demand, an ADIT stamp so they still have proof of their LPR status. Once the oath occurs, then the newly naturalized USC needs their U.S. passport for travel (travel in this context means international travel).
  5. If the IO takes the GC at the interview ( they should not), demand an ADIT stamp.
  6. Great analysis by VDH on this situation. I especially liked this one. VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: 10 bad takeaways from the Zelenskyy blow-up 7. Zelenskyy might see a model in Netanyahu. The Biden Administration was far harder on him than Trump is on Ukraine, suspending arms shipments, demanding cease-fires, prodding for a wartime, bipartisan cabinet, hammering Israel on collateral damage—none of which Westerners have demanded of Zelenskyy. Yet Netanyahu managed a hostile President Biden, kept Israel close to its patron, and, when visiting, was gracious to his host. Netanyahu certainly would never before the global media have interrupted and berated a host and patron president in the White House. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/victor-davis-hanson-10-bad-takeaways-from-zelenskyy-blow-up
  7. Generally when they keep, your passport it is a good sign. If they though the administrative processing was gong to take a really long time they probably would have let you keep it until they needed it again. Good Luck!
  8. Hmm, seems strange, as you did it the proper way. Since you entered on a K1, but married someone different than your original I129F petitioner, you did not have the option to AOS through someone else inside the U.S. Since you had an approved I601 waiver, and pursued consular processing, you should be fine. No one can predict how long it will take as there are too many factors, but everything seems to be in order as you explained it, so hopefully your case will process soon. Good Luck!
  9. Yes, this is possible, my wife did it. The applicant will need to update their international travels since the N400 was submitted at the interview (they will also be asked to do this again at the oath ceremony).
  10. Yeah, already posted that. Superior 🙈 would have seen that! 🤣 Seriously though, the establishment types, those afflicted with TDS, the WEF types, and MSM must be spinning as they wanted the godlike Zelensky to be the winner in this, but people are seeing through the gaslighting. What needs to happen is the folks like Nuland (truly a horrible person), Vindman (not much better than Nuland), Rice, and ABlinken, need to be investigated for their actions in trying to undermine diplomacy actions by the Trump Administration if they are actively advising Ukraine and Zelenskyy (is it one or two y’s).
  11. This was not a good look for Bondi. The dog and pony show was a joke, and a big nuthingburger.
  12. This actually makes a lot of sense. I can certainly see Rice, Nuland, and Vindman working behind the scenes in this.
  13. $235 for a green card? Obviously this author is, let’s say, inexperienced in matters of immigration. https://www.advisorperspectives.com/articles/2025/02/28/5-million-gold-card-immigrants-economic-sense
  14. It does seem that some hard facts were brought to light which are usually left behind closed doors. Based on the actions of Trump, Vance, and Rubio over the past few weeks and the flip flopping by Zelensky, it seems this was coming. Hopefully Zelensky gets the message. If not, a lot more young people will lose their lives.
  15. That is indeed the sad part. I remember when my wife and I were going through the K1 process. My priority was to help her adjust to moving halfway around the world, making sure she had a phone to communicate with our family, introducing her to friends that became mutual friends, and doing everything I could to help her out.
  16. Looks like more losing by the people. 'Old Magoo': Elections Over, German Government Launches Nat'l Snitch Line The Stas...there I go again. Dammit - it's early. The democratically elected German government is, in fact, launching a two-pronged effort - either online or by phone - to afford their citizens avenues for 'advice' on how to deal with conspiracy freaks. Those in their personal lives or even ones of accidental acquaintance who speak such strange and terrifying sentiments not approved by polite society that a good German might be...alarmed by the utterances. Or upsetting emails. And not know where to turn for advice on how to respond, if they even should. https://hotair.com/tree-hugging-sister/2025/02/28/old-magoo-elections-over-german-government-launches-natl-snitch-line-n3800276
  17. The use of the term "inning" feels pretty loose, can't those last days during a Test match?
  18. This is a new one for @Crazy Cat and his book. To the OP, the obvious question is what does she want to do? All you can do is inform her, what she does with that information is up to her. That being said, it is a sad state.
  19. I forgot to mention Mammoth Cave, and Great Smoky Mountains NPs. We really liked both, but Great Smoky Mountains was an absolute zoo, but did have some nice trails. Mammoth Cave was also great, loved the little river ferry and the trails on the other side of the river were great. I also think I forgot New River Gorge in WV. Amazing trails.
  20. Since we have a bit of a UK/Aussie thing going on right now, I thought I would add my fascination with cricket. I was on a trip to Australia back in 2010 when the Ashes were going on. It is an interesting game, and took me a few to figure out the basics, but quite interesting. What I could not figure out is what constituted a complete game.
  21. How does a B2 applicant prove they do not have immigration intent? I know, impossible to prove a negative, but maybe through chats, social media etc. I don’t really know for certain, but I don’t want to penalize someone that had a real major change of circumstances.
  22. Sort of like the DoS by law assumes anyone applying for a NIV has immigration intent, let the IO assume anyone AOSing from a B2 et. al., have preconceived a plan to do this when entering the U.S. during an AOS interview. The beneficiary, then has the burden of proof to show there was no pre-planning. So sort of like a second entry inspection if the decision is made to AOS on a NIV.
