  1. We did Disney once back in the Covid days and except for having to wear a mask, the lines were not to bad since they were limiting numbers in the park. That being said, Disney for us was a one and done, if you want to do it, do it in the Winter, but not for a honeymoon. I would also put a plug in for Wyoming, but the wife and I are big hikers and loved Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Have fun!
  2. Copy it or scan it to a PDF, or take a photo and paste that on a Word file, then PDF it, and upload it. Good Luck!
  3. Have you uploaded the required documents to allow the petition to move to the consulate? Have you logged into the NVC system to at least touch the case in the past 12 months? Good Luck!
  4. If the I751 is not final by the end of April, request an ADIT stamp for your passport. This will serve as proof of LPR status for a period (I think 12 months). Good Luck! https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/form-i-9-related-news/temporary-status-documentation-for-lawful-permanent-residents-lpr
  5. I would choose employed as “self contractor”, but self employed would work as well. You need to fill out the i864, and he should fill out an I864A. Good Luck!
  6. Too bad we don't have that petulance thread anymore. https://twitchy.com/dougp/2025/03/05/ted-cruz-elon-musk-n2409341
  7. You can do the N600 at your leisure, but apply for the US passport ASAP after he gets the IR2. Too bad your USC spouse did not file for your son years ago. Good Luck!
  8. As @MalloryCat said, you can get married while here on ESTA (no laws against that), and in fact you can get married today since you are currently here. I agree with @Daphne ., I would very much consider taking the consular processing visa route. It is a far superior visa, allows you to work upon arrival with the visa (remotely if your company allows that), and travel; did you bring all your clothes with you on this visit, if not, it might be eight months before you can get an AP approved which allows you to re-enter the US while your AOS is in process. Of course your wife at that point could fly back to get your things, but you won't be able to help. In the end, it is your decision as only you and your soon to be wife know your specific situation. Good Luck!
  9. When my now wife got her K1, she did not jump on the next plane to get here. Se actually took almost the entire six months of visa validity to tie things up before moving which gave us the chance to plan a nice wedding at my brother's house for immediate family and friends (~100 people). We did not make any commitments until she had the visa in hand, and once we set the date. That is crazy, I believe in 2014, in my county they were $5 for a cert. copy. Also we were able to get the certificates 2 days after the ceremony when we took the license in person to the clerk and 5 minutes later we had several copies of the certificate.
  10. UK specific, but relevant to others. The UK’s Net Zero economy isn’t booming https://unherd.com/newsroom/the-uks-net-zero-economy-isnt-booming/
  11. Refused does not mean Denied. The Refused status is used when a case is waiting for completion of some task during AP. Good Luck!
  12. N600K does not apply as your son is not in your physical custody. I am not sure about automatic acquisition of USC after the IR2 process. I think this is the case if the child is under 18 or 21 after they enter the US with their IR2, but others may know better.
  13. I have heard anecdotal stories similar at pre-clearance airports. Regardless, water under the bridge, and you are now moving forward. Btw, you do not need the I134 to actually submit the I129F, so if you want to get that clock moving, don't wait to clear up your I134 questions. Good Luck!
  14. This is not an issue as long as you do not mis-represent yourself materially when applying for a B2. My now wife was rejected twice for a B2, and it had no impact on her subsequent K1. That being said, and given your story, it is still up to you to apply for a B2. If speed is the overarching factor, then the K1 is probably the best route for you especially since I hear the US consulate in the UK is fairly fast once the petition gets to them.
  15. I agree with @Boiler, if you haven't started the I129F, I would definitely lean toward the spousal visa as it is a far superior visa. A couple can easily be married via the Utah Zoom route, and since you are in a ESTA country, a meeting is easy and then an I130 can be filed. It may take a little longer, but in the long run it is worth it, plus it is cheaper. Good Luck!
  16. As to amounts in the bank, they need enough to cover the cost of their trip (reasonable transportation, lodging, meals, etc.), but this does not guarantee an approval. As @OldUser stated, ties to their home country are very important. Good Luck!
  17. He can also contact ICE via their email Immigration.Reply@dhs.gov Beyond that, he has no worries, and no obligation to her. He can notify USCIS, and ICE just in case he decides to try and petition someone else in the future. I agree with several other comments, she has no legal pathway to remain in the U.S. I do wonder what she did with her child.
  18. Recently had to tear apart my Maytag dryer to replace the idler pulley (the squealing became too much). It is amazing how simple it is to disassemble a dryer. I took the opportunity to replace the drum rollers at the same time. About 10 years ago, I had to replace a Samsung LED TV, and went with the Best Buy Insignia brand, and it is still going strong. Back when I bought the Samsung TV, I also purchased a smaller Dynex brand flatscreen for the basement. Dynex used to be the Best Buy house brand, and that TV has outlasted anything previously as I used it as a second monitor for my office, and recently gave it to my niece.
  19. So far, I have only had one experience at Buc-ees (I75 in central Kentucky), and I guess we hit it at a good time as it was not too busy, so it was just like a normal fuel stop. Regardless, I would definitely not go out of my way to hit a Buc-ees. I rather like Love's when traveling out West, easy in, easy out, plus they always have (at least to my experience) good windshield squeegee's with long handles which is nice for cleaning the bugs off the window.
  20. Here is a relatively recent thread about the same issue. You need to try using the chat option or calling requesting "Infopass" to get to an agent that can help you. Good Luck!
  21. Hmm, maybe the EU elite don't get it. https://www.politico.eu/article/volodymyr-zelenskyy-donald-trump-jd-vance-oval-office-white-house-us-ukraine-war-russia/
  22. We actually have 4 Costco's within about 30 minutes from us. We tend to prefer those for some things, but sometimes the sizes are just too big for a family of two.
  23. It gets worse. Apparently, Musk is showing his true Eichmann tendencies. https://prospect.org/world/2025-03-03-musk-doge-pepfar-hiv-tuberculosis/
  24. Hmm, maybe the "progressives" in Europe are waking up after Zelensky(y)'s performance last Friday.
