mother's name on her passport mismatch with her name on my passport
Dashinka replied to samiiii's topic in Tourist Visas
This should not be an issue with a B2 application as your mother applies on her own accord and although she will need to list any relatives living in the US, there is no need to prove a relationship with evidence. As to an eventual IR5, you sibling will need to prove this is their mother usually through a birth certificate showing the mother and the name of the child. If the name differences become an issue, there is always the possibility of DNA testing. Good Luck! -
When Progressives demonstrate their racism. Can job postings in Canada exclude white people? Short answer: yes In two recent job postings for Canada Research Chairs in computer science at the University of Waterloo, applications are restricted for those who identify as “women, transgender, gender-fluid, non-binary, or Two-spirit” in the first case, and to members “of a racialized minority” for the second. In the past, these sorts of job postings have led to controversy, with some claiming they’re examples of “reverse racism” or that they show the end of hiring based on merit and education, in favour of immutable characteristics. But, it turns out this sort of hiring is normal for Canada Research Chairs. Actually, it’s normal for a variety of industries for various reasons. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/can-job-postings-in-canada-exclude-white-people-short-answer-yes

I agree. Trump was a big D supporter on the NYC/Manhattan party circuit, but as we see with all Democrat endeavors, when you leave the reservation, the Dems are much more vengeful than any scorned woman. Heck, look what happens to anyone that should be part of one of the Democrat political identity categories, but speaks out against it.

A Few Questions from a Newbie

I would date them with the date they were written. If you are not financially responsible for your housemates, it should not impact anything. Good Luck! -
I'll take things that never happened for $1000 Alex. Regardless, as this article stated, Ukraine is low on ammo and manpower, the only way they win this is if NATO, and mostly the US commit boots on the ground. ‘There’s only Plan A': Defense leaders fear failure in Ukraine MUNICH — Four American senators recounted a story Ukrainian officials told them at the Munich Security Conference: A soldier in a muddy trench with Russian artillery exploding nearby, scrolling on his phone for signs the U.S. House would approve military aid. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/02/18/munich-ukraine-security-conference-00142077

For my now wife and I when we were going through the K1 process, we mentioned how we met in our personal statements. Good Luck! -
A Few Questions from a Newbie
Dashinka replied to sonnyboy0323's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Because K1s and spousal visas are taking about the same amount of time, and a spousal visa is much more superior than the K1 particularly when it comes to the beneficiary, but also cost. -

Use the address associated with your method of transmitting the form (USPS vs the private couriers), don't confuse entities like USCIS. The key here is the first statement. If she is not here currently, ignore this section. Not that I know of, this is similar to how I found my now wife, we started on a website, and used its system for about 2 messages and quickly transitioned to private email and video chats. I agree with @Boiler, have you considered a spousal visa? Good Luck! -

When have the Democrats ever stepped away from identity politics? How many of Old Corrupt Joe's political appointments have been box checkers? -
So NATO countries are finally talking about living up to their treaty obligations. Imagine that. NATO Countries Scrambling to Increase Defense Spending Because of Trump Comments Nato members are scrambling to honour their defence spending target in time for a crunch July summit taking place just days before Donald Trump’s expected coronation as Republican candidate for president. Westminster sources told The Telegraph that European members need to arrive at Nato’s 75th Anniversary summit in Washington DC with a commitment to spend 2 per cent of GDP on defence. The summit will take place 9-11 July, the week before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where Mr Trump is expected to be selected as the party’s nominee for president. A senior Whitehall security source said: “If we all rock up in Washington for the Nato summit with half of Europe still not paying 2 per cent of GDP… that would be an own goal.” https://hotair.com/david-strom/2024/02/19/nato-countries-scrambling-to-increase-defense-spending-because-of-trump-n3783169

Damning report on Bidens Mental Competency

BO was also not the smartest President, and he became much more Leftist/Progressive as his time in the WH ebbed. That being said, the Dems put a figurehead in the WH and staffed it with a lot of Obama holdovers, if Michelle were to run, I can see her being the same type of figurehead. -

Unless it is BO that is controlling things right now. We all know you want Nancy P. there. -
Even Egypt is essentially saying Hamas must go. There's No Point Negotiating With Hamas, Says ... Egypt? Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry sharply criticized Hamas on Saturday, saying that "the organization is outside the Palestinian consensus, which recognizes Israel and wants to reach negotiations with it, because [Hamas] is not ready to give up its support for violence." Shoukry made these comments at a press conference held at the Munich Security Conference. He also said that "we must give an account of how Hamas gained power in the Gaza Strip, and why it received financial support to increase the division between it and the other peacekeeping Palestinian factions – whether these are the Palestinian Authority, the PLO or the Palestinian public itself." https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2024/02/18/theres-no-point-negotiating-with-hamas-says-egypt-n3783163

Gotta love the deep state. There seems to be a lot of scrambling to get excessive bureaucratic rules in place and shield the Biden EO’s. Federal agencies scramble to finish Biden’s rules — and protect his legacy from Trump https://www.politico.com/news/2024/02/19/deadline-biden-environmental-rules-00141383

Hmm. Biden’s brother used his name to promote a hospital chain. Then it collapsed. “This would be a perfect platform to expose my Brothers team to [your] protocol,” Jim Biden wrote to the CEO of a Tampa-area company that controlled licensing rights to an experimental cancer treatment the hospital operator wanted to offer. “Could provide a great opportunity for some real exposure.” https://www.politico.com/news/2024/02/18/the-biden-name-how-the-presidents-brother-became-embroiled-in-a-hospital-fiasco-00141868
