I864 is required for I485 as it is the binding financial document to ensure the intended immigrant will not become a public charge.
-
log in to your USCIS account and look under documents to see if something is attached there.
you never know, you may find the approval letter there.
Good luck

It does not hurt to try it.
We did it back in 2021: sent the I-130 in 23 August 2021 and as soon as we received the NOA1 (same day since we filed electronic), we filed a paper I-129F and sent it in right away (like two weeks after).
Our I-130 was approved in two months, Approval was 01-NOv-2021.
Did the I-129F help? may be, may be not

My wife's SSN card was received a week after POE

The requirement is to have the vaccination (2 shots) and the doctors will not schedule a medical without the vaccine sheet.
The website where people used to download the certificates for the vaccine have been deactivated a while ago. Covid cases are picking up in Morocco, and they are tracking it again.
They should find scans of the certificate of the small cards they made for the vaccine at some point when they required them for travel. Need to look harder to find it.
Worst case scenario is to contact the consulate and try to get a waiver

Is there a slow processing time for the casablanca embassy? I’ve been DQ in September
They have been very slow in the last year scheduling appointments. Check at the Morocco portal for similar cases waiting for appointment scheduling from Casablanca consulate.

I think it probably easier to export chat than to take screenshots. Especially if you want to send a lot.
Some chat applications don’t have the possibility to export chat.
Also, whatsup does not allow to export media with the chat.
anyway, the screenshots worked for us perfectly.

We were asked for chat history during the interview. We submitted screenshots dating from when we first met, and then 6 month after that, and 6 months after that until we covered all the two years.
we submitted 160 pages of screenshots, each page had 6 pictures of iphone pro max screenshots of chat.
i hope this helps

SSN card received in the mail one week after POE.
The process is working. Now only waiting for the Green Card: status still shows "Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received".

It should be anytime now.
is there any courier service in the process?
you can also track the passport through ustraveldocs.com

Hello,
I'm a USC and my husband is Moroccan. We've been approved by USCIS and Documentarily Qualified by NVC on September 19, 2023. I see that the wait times for an interview are fluctuating and the NVC notified me through their public enquiry that they can't determine or guesstimate approximately how long until an interview letter is issued by the US Embassy of Casablanca, Morocco but I read on this forum that it's about 4-6 months. Is that correct? I should expect to receive the IL in March 2024? I was wondering if that approximation is correct, and I'm considering to search for a US embassy that has shorter wait times for an interview. Did anyone have an experience transferring a case from Morocco?Changing consulates is not a given: the interviewee must have legal residency in the country of interview.
my thoughts to you is to just wait it out and prepare for the interview as much as possible.
I know the wait game is tough, but it is easier than complicating the case with unneeded changes. My wife was on AP for 16 months after the interview, and we just got her visa last month.
Just be patient and wait it out. You are almost there.

Thank you for the replies and apologies for the deleted words - although I did really use foul language, nonetheless I will remember to use caution when I write. However my question still remains unanswered. My husband has been out of the country since January 4, 2023. We have not filed any paperwork on why he has overstayed. He wants to return to the states, which that is all I want as well. What would he need to do to come back since he still has ties to the US? If he were to purchase his ticket and fly back would there be any issues? Am I even posting in the right forum?
Thank you in advance
There will be. most likely, no questions asked if enters the US before one year of his departure.
But this will create a gap in his stay in the US if he plans to apply for Naturalization with 3 years

The answer is very simple: we asked an immigration officer to update the address at POE. The address was updated in the system right away.
No forms needed.

for NVC, you only need digital copies uploaded to the CEAC portal.
BUT, for the interview, you will need the originals and original translations of all the documents that are not in english.
You don't need the affidavit of support during the interview as they never asked for it in the past. I always recommend to take the affidavit of support you signed with all supporting documents (tax transcripts and all) to the interview, just in case
