Aren't you running up against the 14 day deadline then?  They won't process the issuance of a card within 14 days of expiration of the I-94. Once you hit day 76 after entry, the window closes if they haven't verified you and started processing it by then.

Yes but nothing I can do about it. Social security does as they please and they all know and won't listen. So we will just have to wait until AOS if not issued with in a week and half. Not the end of the world though

  2. Shipmaster i did the update email with NVC like the guide greenbaum posted. I put both of our emails.

Now i know the ship every other Tuesday from NVC to Embassy. Next shipment should be the 10th. Now someone can correct me on that. But i believe the 10th will be shipment day. I checked CEAC site and it showed at NVC then on the tuesday our shipped it changed to in transit. 2 days later it showed arrived. But it actually was 3 days before it showed a signature for acceptance. We both received email it was in transit.

We then did the DS160 and she printed the deposit slip and paid the fee. And went back the next day after she paid fee and entered the receipt number and schedule was available. We went ahead and chose a day for interview. It was like 10 days after it showed ready. But she actually got a call from the embassy stating they didnt have the papers and she may have to reschedule.

I emailed the embassy the tracking and who signed for it. I guess they didnt believe me because they sent a request to ceac of course showing ready and then a couple hour later embassy replied they had paperwork. So she also had called for medical and did it all in 3 days. So just keep checking the NVC for ready then go at the ds160.

Now she will be here in 10 days.

And when i bought flights a round trip was 1000.00 less than a one way. So i will just toss the unused ticket.

    Good luck

And to add if they have here phone number they will call her to let her know also

  3. Garrett.

Ours was shipped on the 6th also. But the DHL tracking actually showed no movement until the 7th. It did arrive on the 9th, but this was Kyiv also. I did check the CSEA site and before ship it showed at NVC, the in Transit  then ready. When it showed ready i got the email. But i did see that it actually did not arrive and get signed for until next day. But we did pay the fee and started the ds160. After that it did allow us to schedule. But again this was at Kyiv.

It is possible that it is sitting in the mail room at the embassy waiting to get opened and sorted. Give it a couple days , it should be fine

  4. Sometimes it takes more than 1 try. The information is listed in a file in the NOA2 --- NVC threads. That has much information in it.

Are you the beneficiary ? If so why is the petitioner not taking action on this. I know i as petitioner was always taking care of it.

There is some information you need from the NOA2 letter your must supply before they will speak to you also.

  5. Sounds like the petitioner need to get on the phone and call and get the case number from NVC. I never got a letter or anything. I updated my email with them but only got a email when it was in transit to the embassy. Status can be checked on the CSEA site but you need your NVC case number to see if it is at NVC or in transit or even the embassy. If you wait for what the government says you may be waiting forever. Got to be proactive.

Good luck hopefully it will be finished soon
