In addition to Netsikai's advice, try to make sure that each luggage would only weigh 23kg or 50lb each, as you would be asked to remove the excessive contents on the spot. They won' be added up as 1 entity, like in some domestic flights. Might be a good idea to bring a foldable small bag on your carry-on too, just in case.
If you're thinking of bringing another excess luggage, it should also be max of 23kg.
Definitely, bring a photocopy of your fiance's CC and any id (a passport biopage would do). Some airline staff can be picky.

Yes if u have a connecting flight bcd Manila lax u don't have to get ur checked in luggage in Manila ...bcd pal will give ur international boarding pass when u check in ...call pal and ask the excess weight fee and definitely bring extra money for the excess weight.
I would usually get a morning flight bcd to Manila though I had friends who woul take the afternoon flight bcd Manila...pray for a clear weather on ur flight day...when u exit the plane look for the CFO table right away, pay travel tax and the airport fee...and wait in the predeparture area for ur lax flight.
With regards to whether pal would ask the CC used to purchase ur pal ticket...for ur peace of mind I would suggest ask a photocopy of the CC and one I'd of the CC owner like a drivers license ...cause I remember during one of my domestic flight MLa bcd, my sister bought my ticket and I was asked for her CC by the pal staff, good thing my sister gave me photocopy of her CC and her SSS I'd so I gave it to pal staff.

When did he propose? When did he give you a ring? Where did he buy the ring? So it's not a requirment, but people should still be aware of and prepared to give that kind of information if they go that route.

Being engaged is a requirement for the I-129F petition and K-1 visa interview. That is the entire premise behind the K-1. They are for already engaged couples to have the foreign fiance(e) travel to the US to marry and immigrate.
If you are asking if an engagement ring is required, then no.

I am going to be filing for AOS in February. I saw one of the requirements for the I-864 is to have a letter of employment. I work for a company called AECOM (50,000+ employee's) that does not provide such a print out. If some agency needs to verify my employment they must go to www.theworknumber.com and with a special code that I can provide USCIS they will be able to verify employment. Will this work or do you believe I will get an RFI?

No, I-134 affidavit of support should not be included in the package of the i-129f...I-134 is very important during the US embassy interview.

Send the I-129f on August 25, 2013 to be safe that you have met personally within 2 years of sending the I-129f package...I think it is not within the 2 years period if you will send the I-129f package on August 29, 2013...in other words you will miss the deadline.

It could be a couple of days, weeks or months...we are on ap for 3 weeks and 3 days now, no 221g, passport retained by the CO...unhappy woman here.

Your fiancé will receive the NVC letter by mail...your fiancé and you will receive letter of instructions from the US Embassy Manila...

SLEC requires photocopy of the NVC letter or US Embassy Mania Letter of Instructuons.....you can make SLEC appointment online in advance and bring print out with phtotocopy NVC or letter of Instructuons letter, , 3 passsport photos, ur vaccination records .....have SLEC medical at least a week before interview...be careful also with your medical results, have the result photocopies.
2. you can print out in advance BPI payment form online, bring the print out and your passport tio BPI and pay the K1 visa fee...wait for 4 to 8 hours before making appointment online or call center for your K1 interview...have your BPI payment form photocopy and be careful not to loose or missplace it cause BPI won't give you any duplicate or another receipt in case you misplace the payment form.
3. I suggest have your CFO after u have visa in your hands...prepare photocopy of fiance's divorce papers (in case he is a divorce) , bring photos....and know ur fiancé's mother's name, address and contact number with zip codes of your relative in Case of emergency....these info are needed in CFO form.
Get your nso bc, cenomar and nbi ...start to prepare and fill up DOS forms....study the DS forms and the I-129f contents ....lastly pray hard.and be prepared physically and mentally for the next few weeks .

What do you mean unauthorized employment?...if it is legal work, i would advise include that in your employment history...I don't think you will be denied the K1 visa if ur unemployed....sure put ur online job also though be sure you will be able to answer the CO if he/ she will ask you about your work.
Though I was not ask about my employment or work when I had my K1 interview last month...CO are more concern with your relationship with your USC fiancé.

No he cannot apply for I-129f if the two of you haven't meet in person...meet in person first then apply for I-129f.

Welcome to vj...and good luck to months ahead of waiting...it will be long waiting but it is worth it...this will be a test of patience for us all ...but in the end, we will be with our love ones soon...have faith and hold on to love.
