Money Order Through Store

My fiance read one of instructions regarding where to send money to US Department of Homeland Security. It says bank or financial institution we have to use to send the money.

We are stumble on some problem here. My fiance just moved and his checks still with his stuff. We are on deadline which means if we missed the deadline, we have to meet again. Can we just send money through a store?

I am still on the mist about the deadline though. If, our last meetingin person for example, Augusts 26 2011, and we send the package, August 29 2013, does it mean my fiance and I have already missed the deadline? Thank you for help.

money order is perfectly fine to send in.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Send the I-129f on August 25, 2013 to be safe that you have met personally within 2 years of sending the I-129f package...I think it is not within the 2 years period if you will send the I-129f package on August 29, 2013...in other words you will miss the deadline.

Yes to the last question. the petition has to be mailed and processed before the two years is finished.
