MedRoni got a reaction from Jer1234 in me and my U.S citizen age gap
Given your country - 26 years is a number most likely to be questioned, especially since she is the older one. I would think you will have issues with the fact she divorced right after getting citizenship and remarried right away. You said this all happened this year, which is really only 5 months to date. If I read that all correctly it is going to look pretty suspicious in itself to the embassy. Then there will be the "when did you meet and how.. then how long did you know each other before marriage", etc. If it really is all that quick you will have some explaining to do. Especially since you met 2 years ago, while she was still fairly newly married... assuming on a marriage/fiance visa herself.
I am not saying do not try, I am just saying you will need to be very prepared to answer some of these questions. No one can tell you if you will be approved or denied. Look at it this way, how important is it to you to live in the US? If this is where you want to live make sure to build a strong case and go for it. Best of luck either way!

Sounds like you're more about the green card rather than the marriage. Marriage first, than worry about the green card. Where are you living? How are you surviving? Are you certain that you're still married? Is he in contact with you?

Here is really the main point. His own psychiatrist won't sign off it, meaning no guarantees he would not re offend. Add this to having a new child in the house if you live together? I was a victim of childhood sexual abuse from a family member and I guarantee you I will never let a child of mine near them now, signed off or otherwise. Could you honestly comfortably take that chance?
No judgement meant, just something very serious to think about.

Work visas are not just handed out like Halloween candy, so unless you already have an employer lined up who is willing to sponsor you, I'd say no.
I would also beware of entering the USA on a work visa with the INTENT of getting married and staying. You definitely cannot do that on a tourist visa, but I don't know if work visas are dual-intent or not. Be very very careful, you don't want to deal with any possible visa fraud charges, especially since you've already got an approved I-129F.
I say: Change the wedding to a big party -- people still come, you can celebrate any way you like, but do NOT get legally married, no certificates, no legal ceremony. Then you can have a small courthouse marriage once you've arrived in the US.

It seems every year another group of frustrated new filers does some "secret research" and finds some group to hate en masse.
A couple years ago, everyone was mad at the Haitians. Haitian TPS because of the earthquake was ruining everything and making everyone's case slow! Damn their death and pestilence! Outrage!
Then some time later it was DACA! Everyone hated on DACA and blamed that for making their files slow! Damn illegals! Outrage!
Now I have seen everyone is hating on spouses of LPRs. F2A is going too fast and needs to be slower! Damn those foreigners! Outrage!
There is a hive mind of thing going on, and without any proof, these groups, and I am sure others before these, get chosen to be the object of hate.
It seems like a horrible mob mentality based on rumor and "secret analysis" of USCIS's website. I know it is hard to wait, and that the difficulty makes people vulnerable and liable to believe whatever they hear, but it doesn't seem right, to me.
Is there anything to say that would stop this or is it going to happen no matter what? Any thoughts?

MedRoni got a reaction from Ismael&Blair in Non-Immigrant (k-1) Embassy Procedure Change
Straight from the Algerian Embassy Facebook Page - Just an FYI:
U.S. Embassy Algiers Announces New Visa Appointment Procedure

The Embassy of the United States of America in Algeria announces its transition to a new appointment and document delivery service for the visa unit. This system is being implemented at U.S. Embassies worldwide, and is designed to be more convenient and user-friendly, with all services included in one single visa fee. In addition to a new online system, Call Center representatives will be available for applicants to obtain information by phone.

Starting August 16, 2013, non-immigrant visa applicants must follow this procedure:
    1. Visit http://www.ustraveldocs.com/dz to begin the process. You can also access this site through the U.S. Embassy website:http://algiers.usembassy.gov/
    2. Create a profile in the online system, then fully complete and submit the DS-160 application form.
    3. Schedule a visa interview at the U.S. Embassy.
    4. Attend your interview at the time you selected, making sure to bring the DS-160 and all supporting documents that apply to your case, as well as the appropriate fee for your visa type.
    5. If your visa is approved following your interview, your passport will be delivered to the location that you designated upon scheduling your interview at no additional cost to you.

Applicants are advised to select their interview date and time carefully. Multiple no-shows could lead to significant delays in rescheduling.

Applicants with existing interview appointments will still be processed under the old system and should attend their interviews as scheduled.

Call Center representatives will be available to answer questions regarding the new system beginning on August 16, 2013. The Call Center phone number is 983 2000 20 and can be reached seven days a week between 07:00 and 19:00.

For complete details on the new appointment and document delivery service, please visit http://www.ustraveldocs.com/dz. For information regarding other consular services, please consult the U.S. Embassy Algiers website at http://algiers.usembassy.gov/

I am not sure how to spread this across the other non immigrant locations. If anyone knows, please just let me know!
    Thanks

Under US immigration law, you can only sponsor your first spouse in a polygamous marriage. That would be the wife that you are in the process of divorcing in Egypt right now.
Your second (I presume) wife therefore cannot be sponsored by you until the divorce from your first wife is final. When the US embassy learns that you are still married to your first wife, your second wife's immigrant visa application will be denied.
You may have already committed material misrepresentation by submitting papers which stated you were single prior to your latest marriage when in actual fact you were not. If you attempt to lie to the US embassy about it then this would constitute material misrepresentation and fraud, and would lead to your second wife receiving a lifetime bar from the US.

    Visiting the US is okay.
Coming to the US to "assist" your grandmother because you are a nurse is work. It's work because a US person can be hired to "assist" your grandmother.
No one can pay another person to visit the US for you, but your family can certainly pay to have someone assist your grandmother.
How you present yourself to the CO will be super important.
Visiting is okay. Assisting is not okay and is considered work.

You cannot come to the US to work on a tourist visa. She needs someone else besides you to assist her after the operation, like the hospital staff and the PT people.

You have your answer. By admitting to previous drug use (even marijuana) this makes her fail the medical, and she must reapply again in a year. They will probably ask for periodic testing throughout that year, too.

I have seen them in the past be pretty much booked for k-1 visas. They only schedule them on certain days, with so many slots. Looks like they are behind again. There are only 2 officers doing all interviews for all visas - and with the lottery winners needing to be interviewed before the next few months they may just be a bit backlogged.
I would say wait a bit, but poke at them every so often so you are sure you are on "the list". Hopefully things start moving a bit quicker at the embassy again soon!

As you said when they find marijuana in her system she will be required to wait a year and retake the medical, there isn't much you can do, I am sorry. And as an observation, I am not being judgmental, if she drank just a few days ago and smoked marijuana, she hasn't gotten over whatever problems she had with substance abuse. When it comes to people who have issues like this, she needs to stop all together in order for it to no longer be a problem. The doctor is just doing their job. Keep us updated.

If I read this right.. and your husband just got here in 2013 he is not due to remove his conditions any time soon. It is done within 90days prior to his 2 year card expiration, not 2 years of marriage. So not until near the end of 2014.
Do like suggested and leave, do not leave him with any comingling proof. Divorce him and he will then be forced to do his ROC... alone snd with no proof of a real marriage here. It will be tough on him at best to get this approved. No approval means no legal status and no way to bring over someone else.

You are a sole voice and for good reason. If she had said she "thinks" he married her for a green card... she "thinks" he wants to bring over another woman, then yes - I would look twice at what was actual fact and what was just perception. But here is a man you call innocent, that has flat out told her what he has done. She had every right to come here and ask for help/advise as most members here are great support, like a community... family if you will. It is also immigration related no matter how you look at it. She also had every right to tell her side. There is nothing on this forum that forces us to read and reply to posts. We should be keeping things positive and helpful and if we cannot on a particular topic we should just move on.

So how did you come to live here permanently with no I-130 filed? You cannot just come permanently live and adjust status at this point. What you are trying to attempt is immigration fraud. That can get you a lifetime ban from the US. We cannot help you stay.
Legally - You need to go back to the UK and let your wife file an I-130 at this point. Since she is not a citizen the process will take a couple of years. You might want to hold off on having children until you can be together
