I am just too ecstatic and sooo happy to tell everyone that my dear husband passed his interview this morning, he got a little red ticket receipt and instructions to go back to pick up his VISA in 5 days (August 13th)! The interview was all very positive. I will definitely post an in-dept review and post it on the Reviews:Embassy section. I have to say that Visa Journey has helped us a lot and especially me to get through this! This website has been a super, big, helpful, valuable resource. And I cannot say enough how much this website is a blessing for people like us who fell in love with their soul mate who's not also from the U.S.! And this website has helped me immensely especially through the "long nights" while my husband and I were apart during the waiting process for that NOA2 and up until the interview today.

I learned so much from all sections of this website. I have to say that I literally read almost every single post that pertained to the MOROCCO portal and came across a lot of priceless information and interesting postings especially the ones from the MENA FORUM. I always read all of the advice and reviews and tried to see how it may fit into our situation and made sure to have a remedy and evidence so we wouldn't get into that RFE situation. But of course I always knew that each and everyone's relationship was NOT the same as our own. So I never took anything or anyone's comments/opinions personally.

Also, I met great people on the website whom I call as my friends now who gave helpful advice, positive comments, and/or just emotional and moral support. So I thank you each and everyone of you (you know who you are)! I am very grateful that this first part of our journey is almost over. I am too excited for the next part and our future together. Like some past posters had said...I will be relieved when I see that VISA in his hot little hands- Inshallah!

I will post a detailed review with all the questions he was asked and play by play how it all went down when I get a chance. Oh! And I will share how even the first interviewer asked my husband a trick question!!!

I actually need to go get ready to celebrate very soon LOL...it's my coworker/friend's birthday dinner today! He had a great IFTAR with his family and we will continue our personal celebration later! :)

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!
